There is still time if they managed to fix the game quickly

We have players that work and intended to get their fights down this morning. Who knows how long the maintenance will last. We still have war bosses remaining and thats a great deal of points lost, win or lose the war. Only 2 hours remain in war and theres a maintenance taking up that time.

That is understandable, but on the other hand you also have people who cleared their paths and used resources.
I don't know what the best solution is.

I’ve spent maybe 1 and a half hours alone doing assignments for this war for all 3 BGs yesterday. For me personally as a leader its a slap to the face that all the time, resources and efforts are now all going to **** and our ranking in war could be negatively impacted. I dont see why this maintenance couldn’t have waited until after war ended in 2 hours.

Not quite a full hour but yea, certainly too long. Really just hit at just the worst moment, folks on their way into work and all. Usually Im working from home so would be around for stuff like this but Im visiting the office this week, so just poor timing. Definitely want to do better in situations like this (though ideally we avoid these all together haha)

As a guy in a “corporate” myself where we supply tech support to other business, I understand this very well, and, can’t believe I’m saying it, sympathise with you here. Out of hours issues are worse since they can catch you at the worst place, time, and even position 👀 at times. It’s hard to properly and effectively react to it, but preventative measures have to be in place for such incidents. I’m gonna eye ball it and say that it was pointless to call OnCall/Standby engineers since it was coming close to the working hours anyways - hence potentially the late “response”. 😉

yea, we have processes in place, thats what triggered the emergency maintenance, just takes longer to get things back up and going cause your dealing with folks coming online as you need them there to help haha. Comms are manual from us though so took a bit longer. Appreciate the understanding!
