INCOMING BUG FIX:
We'll fixing an issue with the Side Quests where all difficulties had the same Selector rewards.
We've fixed the Selectors in Threat Levels 4, 3, 2 and 1 to no longer contain rewards for Progression levels above the target audience.
Threat Level 4 rewards cap out at Thronebreaker
Threat Level 3 caps out at Cavalier
Threat Level 2 caps out at Uncollected
And Threat Level 1 has rewards for Proven

I don’t have a ton of confidence a reaction will be that quick, but I am willing (and unable to stop it anyway), to give you a shot. But already announcing it as the official global when we have an extended preseason does not fill me with hope. It would have been better to wait a week out of the 3 preseason ones, and then see if needs changing. Then the second week to see about that. And the third to really figure it out.
And yes, the preseason is not the best indicator of how real wars go, but it is what we will have for data.
How are you going to compensate for Deep Wounds this season? We should get free mastery switches so an expensive mastery doesn't go to waste all season.
Most people don't want / can't afford to switch masteries for every war.
I would agree, but it's for an entire season, not just an AW.... or even just a weeks worth of AW....
pack a IMIW and he should take him out.
Hint hint: tanking is a thing
It's not useless, but it's definitely lost a huge amount of value. Masteries come into play the most in AW.
I'm done with story and run AQ/EQ fairly easily. The most difficult and high stakes fights come in AW. That's where the right mastery set up can make the difference between a death or full attack bonus. They also save you potions and boosts by ending fights faster.
AA is completely gimped for half the season. Absolutely useless.(after stun immune debacle)
Deep wounds mastery was freaking expensive.
Re-doing mastery because of losing the points in dw on days that the global node is active. This is going to result in 100s of units a week when before it could cost 0 and you could be effective.
I wish I knew which game people were playing that "useful" and "useless" are completely binary, so I can avoid playing it in the future. It seems awful.
Would you rather significantly reduced usefulness to the point of being nearly useless?
My previous comment would stand.
NVM not worth it
Rotating global buff so they will be useless for half a season assuming the rotation is 50/50... Also bleed champs still work as a defender no?
from the notes it sounds like it's the entire season.
It would be a lot easier to swallow if it was one AW this was the buff, the next AW it is that buff... ect...
Not to mention the resources we spent to maximise deep wounds mastery.
Can't highlight this enough
BG, I'm a big fan, but you look at this game so much differently than most. Love what you do but IMO you're inability to see things from other player's perspective (or care about it) is your biggest weakness as a content creator.
I both see and care about other players perspectives for this and all changes to the game. I've already given Kabam a list of pros and cons to this idea, of which the list of cons was longer.
But if I just automatically went with what everyone said and didn't give my own opinion, I'd just be lying to gain an audience. And the way I really feel is that although this system isn't perfect, and AW in total is far from perfect, I can't help but get excited for a 25-45% attack increase for female champions. Maybe you disagree, which is fine, I'm not trying to change your opinion, but can you at least see why such a massive attack boost for female champions would get me excited?
And I'm probably not even going to be using a female champion this season. I'm just excited for other people and to see their fights.
