Also black goo doesnt have to mean its symbiotic lol
This Monster = Galactus
Planet hulk?! HALF the inspiration of Thor3?
PLANET HULK?! The Illuminati launch hulk into space and he becomes a gladiator and overthrows the tyrannical dictator after spending time as a gladiator, his pod blow up killing his entire planet and his “wife” he and his war bound return to earth, he beats down the X-Men to interrogate Xavier who is the only innocent member of the Illuminati, he battles sentry, resists the penance stare because he is seeking retribution for his “people” and the suffering he’s faced because of the illunati’s actions, becomes WORLD BREAKER HULK AND HOLDS TOGETHER TECTONIC PLATES?! KORG WAS ONE OF HIS WAR BOUND GLADIATORS!!!!!!!
This happened in 2006 and ever since the game started to do “alternate versions” of characters WORLD WAR HULK has been a huge request!
Korg has existed for almost 13 YEARS! Ragnarok only brought him back into relevancy.
Knull was originally a nameless god in 2013 and only became a thing in the newest venom line Venom volume 4 as best as I can date him. Venom Volume 4 happened THIS YEAR! In perspective the current appearance and personality of Korg debuted in November 2017 and got into the game around End August of 2018 and that’s WITH him being a named character since 2006 and having a movie end of 2017. 10 months!
Knull has been a Nameless for about years almost and just got named and “revealed” less than half a year ago WITHOUT a movie to be featured in.
PLUUUUUUS Planet hulk is part of a HUGE arc of other Arcs
Planet Hulk
Civil War
World War Hulk
Bruce was arrested, and then RED HULK hit the scene creating his own major-ish plot line out of his debut.
Korg was a huge part of about half of that from Hulk’s perspective as Planet Hulk occurred about the same time as Civil War as a way of “keeping him out of the fight” which is mirrored in the MCU by the end of Ultron having him being sent off to Sakaar (AGAIN referencing the planet from PLANET HULK) whole the Superhero community has a falling out into a civil
Korg did that almost 13 years ago and finally hit the silver screen giving him the edge in. Meanwhile Knull wasn’t named until basically this previous summer and made a cameo appearance 6 years ago and wasn’t even mentioned in the Sony Venom while the MCU has ZERO Symbiotes unless that theory about Hela is retconnned into existence.
So PLEASE don’t say “Korg is new” when he was a stand out character in a 2/3 of a massive comic arc over a decade ago with a recent movie inclusion while Knull is still a baby and is still liable to be forgotten as he was a cliffnote on God of Thunder and we don’t even know if he’ll do anything after Volune 4 of Venom ends
Good point. Fingers crossed for Maker.
2)Googling “This man this monster” Tells me it was the first issue where the negative zone encountered so I would lean towards characters who have an affilition with it and even more so towards somone who was being pulled out of the negative zone by NT.
That’s a Symbiode not a Symbiote. It’s the aftermath of when Venom was added and his Symbiotic nature took over the natural life forms of the battle realm. But Kabam already planned into like 2020 since before Knull was inked and colored! Korg didn’t even make in until about 10 months after his movie debut with a significant comic backing. Gladiator Hulk same deal except his design was already a thing prior to Ragnarok and likely only had a few aesthetics they needed to line up for the movie.
Also Green Claws? Probably either Super Skrull or Anihilus. Heck even Umtimate Green Goblin works for that.
Also… if you REALLY want to talk about Knull let’s talk LIGHT! He DESPISES light. He considers it an abomination to the abyssal singularity that was his domain before the Celestials exploded light into his universe. So I HIGHLY doubt that knull would ever allow himself to shine pure white. Fact is we won’t see knull for at least another year.
