"The Unstoppable" frustration... This is not the game for average players anymore...

Somehow and some where this game became very frustrated for average players like me. It used to be so cool will basic mechanism and animations of characters, but with the introduction of new characters and new nodes its almost impossible for me to clear the content with my A-team now which i used to clear with my B-team (like master mode in EQ.. l am unable to clear master mode EQ with couple of 4/55 for last two months). With the introduction of The thing and diablo who can become unstoppable in middle of combo or even in middle of special attack it reached new heights(or lows). Does anyone else think same ???

Only thing we can do is try our best to beat it without much cost
There is always one but this community has about 10 of these.
We are taking about average players like me here mate... not everyone is skilled at this game and some wants to play this game just for fun...
What stops anyone from playing the game just for fun?
Last time I checked this is still a contest. If I can complete content that others can't, then that's good for me.
UC EQ's, or EPIC difficulties are made for the people with the highest skills and best rosters. If people aren't complaining then kabam is doing it wrong.
Even master mode was designed for people who play at a fairly high skill level. If you can't complete master with a few 4/55s then the game isn't the problem, you are.
I'm not trying to be an ass. That's just the reality of the situation. There will always be people who can't complete content. Pandering to casuals who want everything handed to them is never good for a long term game.
That's the whole point of my post mate... these new champs and new nodes taking away the fun factor in this game..
How can new champs take away the fun? And new nodes are avoidable, if you're just playing for fun.
When the drive to make it more challenging takes the fun out of it and makes the demographic that can actually complete it smaller and smaller.
Mate...we know that there are some god-skilled players like you, but what we are saying is to satisfy 1% or 2% of guys like you don't take away the fun factor in game... I am not talking about UC or EPIC,yes i am struggling with master recent time because of increased difficulty in recent time..
if you can clear the content with ease then good for you mate... please try to understand the intention behind the post before just saying get good...
I agree with you partially, but there is a line between having the skill to beat the content.....having the right champs and ranked high enough.....and having a disposable income to beat whatever content you want. Best roster, like you said is RNG though. Nothing anyone can do about getting the champs they want/need when they want/need them. You can have all the skill, but it gets very difficult if you don't have the right champs to use that skill with. You can spend tons of money with no skill and still beat content.
I've beat every UC event besides the very first one and even I can see they are getting more difficult. Not because of the new champs we have to face, but because of some of the BS nodes they put on them.
New champions and nodes are fun to deal with, sure sometimes they can be a pain but I mean if there's no challenge where's the fun?
And Diablo? Just use Void if you have him, very easy fight.
You don't need to wait for months to share your thoughts... i think that's how this forums works...
Last month isn't a reasonable comparison point. That was a mess.
Fortunately for me I don't play a game like that.
And I don't know why people believe with such confidence that the number of players that can complete things like master and uncollected difficulty is getting smaller with each passing month, but I'm willing to bet real cash that's not true with anyone foolish enough to take the bet.
i can't speak for others... but in my case i used to clear 100% UC with 4* like two months back.. and last month i can't 100% UC even with two 4/55 due to darkhawk lag(yes, i am Android user)... and looks like this month i can't even clear master mode... So i am thinking i may not be the only player who is having decrease in progression even though getting better rank'ed champs..
Almost as foolish as people who are blind to the feedback being given on a consistent basis because they thrive on challenge.
I'm going to be quite frank here. I love the game. To the point that I've had my head in the sand. I also appreciate and respect the people who make it possible. However, last month was an eye-opener for me.
The drive to make it continually more challenging is going to run the game into the ground, and it just disappoints me to no end. It's a really good game with the benefit of having a Player Base that is one of the most loyal I have ever seen.
You have AI mechanics, speeds, and movements that are all over the place, amped up to the point that it's constricting the ability to use basic mechanics and movements. You have ever-present lag, freezing, and device issues that are reported month after month and are met with little progress and attention, and the primary focus is to make more creative challenges the next month, with a blank slate the next EQ around. Then a new limiting construct is implemented and it's survival of the fittest.
People are investing all they can into dealing with content that is continually shifting beyond reasonable limits to adjust to, and that can't be ignored. How much can you move the bar before the problem is no longer people pushing themsleves?
I'm not really going to continue because I don't want to go into non-constructive territory, but the bottom line for me is there is entirely too much focus on making it more challenging, and not only is it compounding issues, it's disconnecting people who are loyal and dedicated. It's going to be a downfall if things don't shift focus.
Then you have EQs/Maze with things like Ægon and Rising Combo. Sure AA can work but only for a limited time. Unless you are absolutely godlike and flawless with your intercepting Ægon basically had to be one shot or he was a nightmare. Especially when combined with aspect of war. I don’t mind challenging nodes, but there’s a fine line between challenging and absurd.
Since game operators use datamined metrics like "percentage of players completing content" to gauge difficulty, for every person like you perceiving the difficulty to be rising, there is almost certainly another player that has been playing for the same amount of time, has a similar roster, has completed a similar amount of content, and thinks the difficulty is getting easier. This is pretty much a given of how these kinds of games are developed.
Of course some players will perceive difficulty rising. That's because all players are different. But even when experience and rosters are identical, there's no way to make a game where everyone sees difficulty to be consistently the same. Even if the game literally didn't change at all that would be impossible, because then everyone would see the game getting easier over time. But to progress the game forward and keep difficulty roughly the same over time, the game has to change in ways that won't be perceived the same by everyone. On average, difficulty bounces around roughly the same level. Per month, it will vary somewhat, and individual perceptions will vary even more between different players. I'm pretty sure though that among the bulk of players, even the bulk of "average" players the content tends to bounce around in terms of difficulty.
