Time to Take a Little Class Trip!

Summoners!

It’s time to take a little trip with your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man! He’s heading away with some of his classmates on a well deserved vacation. Unfortunately for Spider-Man, his chaperone has other things planned for him…

Nick Fury has requested that our Summoners join in on the new Event, Spider-Man: Class Trip!

This limited-time Quest will have four Chapters, with a new Chapter opening every Wednesday. To choose your difficulty you’ll need to gather S.H.I.E.L.D. Markers throughout The Battlerealm and trade them in for Tiered Permission Slips.

The Quests!

Starting July 3, 10:00 AM PDT, SPIDER-MAN: CLASS TRIP will become available. This Quest has 4 Chapters, and will begin with the first Chapter unlocked. The next Chapter will be unlocked every Wednesday until the event ends on August 7 10:00 AM PDT. To enter each chapter, you’ll need to spend a Permission Slip! These can be purchased in the Souvenir Store. Each Difficulty requires a different tier of Permission Slip.

Here’s a breakdown of their costs:

Level 1 Permission Slip (Beginner Difficulty) - 150 S.H.I.E.L.D. Markers
Level 2 Permission Slip (Normal Difficulty) - 250 S.H.I.E.L.D. Markers (Available for Contenders and beyond)
Level 3 Permission Slip (Heroic Difficulty) - 500 S.H.I.E.L.D. Markers (Available for Proven and beyond)
Level 4 Permission Slip (Master Difficulty) - 750 S.H.I.E.L.D. Markers (Available for Conqueror and beyond)
Level 5 Permission Slip (Epic Difficulty) - 1000 S.H.I.E.L.D. Markers (Available for Uncollected and beyond)

Each Quest has 3 paths. On some Difficulties there will be Paths with a Champion Gate, These Gates can only be unlocked if you have that specific Champions on your team. That Champion can be of any Rarity and must be on your team in the Quest in order to unlock the Gate. You'll need a variety of Champions from the Spider-Verse to explore the entirety of these Quests.

Don’t have one of these Champions? Don’t worry! On the Final week of the Event, we’ll be launching new Special Objectives that reward you with a 2-Star Version of the Champion for defeating them 50 times in Arenas, Quests, or Duels!

You’ll also earn Homesick Crystal Shards in Special Objectives that start on July 3rd. These Crystals guarantee at least a 2-Star with a rare chance at a 3 or 4-Star Agent Venom, Carnage, Doctor Octopus, Electro, Green Goblin, Iron Patriot, Rhino, Spider-Gwen, Spider-Man (Classic), Spider-Man (Miles Morales), Spider-Man (Stark Enhanced), Spider-Man (Symbiote), Symbiote Supreme, Venom, Venom the Duck, Venompool or Vulture. (4-Star Rhino not included).

Where do I get those S.H.I.E.L.D. Markers?

There are 3 places to collect S.H.I.E.L.D. Markers:

- You can find them by completing Special Objectives with Spider-Verse Heroes, Sinister Six, or Symbiote Champions.
- You can collect them from a special Login Calendar
- Completing Class Trip Quests.

Then you take those markers, and head over to the Souvenir Store to trade them in for Permission Slips, special Profile Pics (for 1000 Markers each), and more as the month goes on!

Have spare S.H.I.E.L.D. Markers? In the last week of the event, we’ll be adding a selection of items for you to spend your spare Markers on! These items are not as good as the rewards that you can earn in the Class Trip quests, so if you can do the Quests, we suggest doing those first!

It’s just a side quest, and besides, it’s not a ground-breaking event. GGTTM is probably something Kabam regrets a lot now with everyone bringing it up all the time. That event shouldn’t be the thing to compare everything to.

Will 5* Electro be available in the legendary Homesick crystal?

Legendary crystal? Are you have a laugh right now? An 80% chance to grant a champion I can't use in act 6? Don't get me wrong, most of the other stuff looks quite alright but it's small things like this that hold you guys back. You can do better!

Uhm... can someone explain why Master rewards more 5* shards than Epic?
Epic has 6-Star Shards, and a whole lot of rank up resources!
What exactly does that have to do with 5* shards? They are still pretty valuable and I see no reason why a harder difficutly would reward us with less 5* shards... Doesn´t make sense

It has slightly less 5* shards because it has more 6* shards which makes perfect sense. There is no logical reason or rule that says the higher difficulty must have more of everything that a lower difficulty has, or else Epic would have to have more 4* crystals as Heroic. The point is that Epic has more rewards in terms of value, even if it has more of some things and less of others.

They were only comparing the format. They specifically said that the rewards were going to be different. Anyhow, you do you. If you think the rewards are trash, just don’t do it. I, on the either hand, will go through a fun little side quest and take my (mostly) free 5* shards.

There's no need to "excuse" an event map for having 200 fewer 5* shards and 1000 more 6* shards as a reward, and "I want" is not synonymous with "should."

However, I fully support anyone who wants the option to trade the 1000 6* shards for 1000 5* shards to guarantee epic contains more 5* shards than master. In fact, I fully support making that change mandatory on any account that complains about the reward imbalance to automatically correct that imbalance without the player having to take any additional action.

In the US-style writing "3.175" would be "three and 175/1000" crystals, not "three thousand one hundred seventy five crystals." In some countries dot is the separator and comma is the decimal indicator, but in others it is the reverse.

I think the rewards are fine for a side event which does not take much time with only one quest a week

Don't compare this event or any new event to Gwenpool Goes to the Movies ever again unless it's actually like that quest please.

They said it was reminiscent of it, with similar Champion Requirements. It was not said to be the same.

Man some people are never pleased. What did you guys expect? 10k 6* shards for a side quest? I'm happy with any additional way to get t5b, t2a, and shards
Yes. Yes they did... they expect variant rewards for a fraction of the difficulty and time needed. Thats nothing new.
The thing about those people complaining is that they are crazy spoiled. Since they got something once they want better the next time. Its extremely annoying.
And some people on here wonder why kabam "never listens" to them.
Its because of **** like this, why is it so difficult to just take something for what it is. Dont like it dont play it.
And yes as usual most will probably hate on guys like us speaking the truth

Yes but kabam has constantly remarked that they have massively increased the amount of 5* and 6* shards since 6:1 and to be honest it’s yet to be seen
I don’t mind if they make it difficult but right now the amount doesn’t seem to have changed unless you count cavalier crystals

Kabam has not said this. And I'm sure someone will be quick to say something like "yeah but" and then say something completely irrelevant, but that doesn't change the fact that this is a false statement.
