**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.

There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.
Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

As for on topic on the OP, Starlord is better for fights with ALOT of rampup time like RoL or LoL. Sparky needs some too but not as much. Sparky is for shorter fights than SL is. Both aren't without their uses tho
Sparky in my opinion is a way better damage dealer unless you're in LOL but you have no room for error. Realm sparky still wins easily
The original posted graph had an error, here is the revised graph:
Basically, Star Lord exceeds Sparky's base damage after about 50 combo, but his crit damage (which is more important when comparing to Sparky long term) needs about 125 combo to exceed Sparky at maximum poise charges.
These are the damage per hit calculations. For Star Lord to outdamage Sparky he would have to overtake Sparky, and then make up for the previous damage output gap. If someone is playing both of them optimally, I think it Star Lord probably needs a fight to last more than 200 hits to overtake Sparky, probably around 250 (that's just an eyeball of the curve, not a calculation).
I haven't run those calculations myself to double check, but my recollection is that at the time several people did different kinds of calculations and all of them roughly converged on similar conclusions. In a fight with perfect play (so Sparky maintains high poise and Star Lord never loses combo) it takes a fight somewhere around 200 hits for Star Lord to be able to outdamage Sparky overall. Less than that and Star Lord does not have enough time to catch up.
