AW rewards are so underwhelming considering the amount of AQ rewards. Rewards difference are so much. Of course we can see AW rewards as additional rewards, but we are struggling with an AW's season more than we struggle 4 rounds of AQ.
So these are the rewards you came up with? For the increased difficulty? Now you want to add global defender buffs and increase it more.

And i thought this incomming season would be really fun because a lot of alliances would push for the new rewards, but taking a look on it i just realized the competition will be the same as usual good job kabam! making the only competitive mode in the whole game boring as always.
You guys drastically missed the mark. These rewards are a year outdated and haven't even been introduced yet. I suggest your team take aq reward changes from now vs a year ago and see that the gap is still staggering.
Why are the values not given? Does it vary based on what tier war you are in? Can we get the values, that's a huge piece of information that we need now to start ranking up for next season.
The values for the Defense Tactics are still undergoing their final tuning. Unfortunately, they won't be available until they're live in game. Additionally, the off-season will be used to measure if any need to be adjusted, so they may change again before the season begins.
@Kabam Miike. Can you please let us know what the victory rewards will be. The post says we can expect to get more shards and loyalty but doesn't say how much. Thanks in advance

Then in the discussion thread Kabam Mike says that the victory or Challenger crystals are not updated..
Yeah, if this is what Kabam thinks will win people over for AW, they aren't taking feedback seriously.
You get a whole 1 T4b for being in Silver 2 - Gold 1? What is up with that? 1? You can grind out 2 in T4b arena 12 times and get 24 T4b, so, it should be at least 5 T4b.

This mode is in addition to all of the other modes people play, and does not replace the rewards you get from other Areas of the game. It does not have to be more than what you can earn in other areas.

There is not enough reward separation between tiers. For example master vs p2 there is a tremendous difference in the amount of effort to get these, but the relevant reward separation is 9k t5b shards and 2% of a t5cc? This is not enough incentive and is making AW more like a participation trophy than the hard earned competitive environment it should be.
So, just to put in perspective why people think these rewards buffs are bad, in the past six months you have:
-Introduced a number of top tier defenders like Thing, Sinister, Annihilus, etc. that have limited attacking counters -Change the war map completely requiring people to re-evaluate any of the limited counters there were in the prior map
Despite those changes, season rewards remained unchanged while AQ got a major buff.
Now you plan to introduce defensive tactics, for which the values haven't even been finalized, which basically means you don't even know how much more difficult the new AW is going to be. These defensive tactics come with no buff to attackers or potential negative defensive impact so the only impact is to make AW more difficult for attackers.
For all that, you offer essentially a 50% buff to AW rewards despite the massive potion/item/boost drain it has relative to other content. Plus you throw in the t5cc crystal which, by my calculations gives you the chance, if you place Master 1, to fully form a t5cc in 6 years.
There's a buff to both Win/Loss Rewards and Seasons. While the Crystals are the same thus far, that's significant cumulatively. I can't agree that they're underwhelming.

They are buffing the win lose rewards. Just not the actual crystals themelves. So youll see an increase in shards.

No, GW is right. Individual win/loss wars are getting increased but miike didn’t disclose that information yet.

You are mistaken win/loss crystals are not being updated but the amount of hero shards (I.e 5 and 6 star shards) you get per win/loss is increasing as well as the amount of loyalty
I have to say that I predict participation in AW will decrease even more with this added difficulty. The changes have not encouraged me to participate in AW whatsoever. To make AW relevant, you simply have to give rewards that will allow people to reach 25-50% of a T5CC. Its the only way to make people play AW specifically, all the other rewards I can simply just buy or form from other areas of the game.

With the introduction of these buffs based on champion tags we really need a way to filter them now more than ever.

We've let the team know that this is a desired feature in game. In the meantime, you should check out auntm.ai. It's a great tool created by a very talented member of the Community and features some Tag filtering tools.
The Win/Loss crystals have not been updated yet. That may be in a future rewards update.
I know this is going to sound very snarky and I apologize in advance, but it’s really not the community’s (mutamatt’s) job to create all these resources for the player. It’s your game and you should be providing prestige and tag filter functionality.
2% Crystals are the regular crystals and what you're going to be seeing around the Contest for the most part.
I for one, am actually happy about this. Let's delay 6 star rank 3s as long as possible. I need more time to build up my 6 star roster. That being said, the 6* shard increase is probably my only complaint. Was hoping to see more. With the gates in Act 6 moving forward, would like to see these coming in a little more often and in larger amounts. Rewards seem pretty good overall though.

Considering the cost and difficulty, they should be better then a month of AQ, which they aren't.

Decrease the minimum of t2a t5b in the war season crystals reward difference in them is ridiculous possibly also increase the amount of shards thinking in terms of 6*

at least 50% of t5cc should be implemented considering the new difficulty, but hey, kabam plans are to release $100 offer for 25% t5cc before AW season ends so you literally gain the same without doing any effort than spend some bucks for them!
