I am not a massive arena grinder- so I miss out on those opportunities for gold. I also don’t buy the sigil, so no gold there, and I don’t spend units in gold crystals. Aside from those few specific things, there are no ways to get gold. Cmon kabam.
We need gold- I have for example 12 3-4 Gems, but can’t use a single one. You could be thinking, “Sell ISO!”- but oh wait, that’s almost as hard to get. Incursions were awesome for gold, but once a month reset isn’t nearly enough.
And the meager amount of gold I do get goes towards aq donations. I know this has been addressed partially, but seriously, if were are level 60 could we at least get a large sum of gold for xp boosts?

    So explain your ranking habits and where is your gold currently going to? If you have 12 3-4 gems, are you not using them or what?

    i’m free to play and am financially secure with gold. i can rank up a 5star usually once a week. majority of my gold comes from selling expiring iso. i have 355 champs. i dupe champs more often than i get new. i used to struggle with gold as well but you should hit a point where is not a problem.

    Where did you get 12 3-4 gems? Seems like that’s completing all 4 variants? That’s 3.2m just from completion.

    Yes all variants and act 6. But all the gold was taken by 2 rank 2 6*s.

    Edit:Some of the gems are 2015 gems. Also, aq takes a ton of my gold. I usually get some milestones in some arenas, but no hardcore grinding.

    I used to have gold, but we started running 66666 aq. And I have a life with no time for arena.

    12 days of logging in for 3000 gold. Can’t even use a t5 iso to rank up any champs For that amount. I think something needs to be adjusted. I like the updated calendar but still needs some tweaks.

    Totally. Im a stickler for units as well. They do offer pretty good amounts of gold through uc gold crystals, so I’ll give them that.

    After the incursion monthly reset a few days ago me and my buddy ran a zone six and go to sector nine. I had about 50k gold to start with and and ended with about 500k give or take. I had a rank 2 guilly 2099 with a little iso so I brough her to r3 and leveled her up with all of the iso that I had, so too about level 25. This took me over 470k gold. Unless you are an arena zombie then getting gold is a problem, not to mention aq donations. And don't even tell me about iso, I have been lacking iso since act 3, and I can never seem to get enough. I just don't get enough four star dupes.

    Yeah golds out of balance, incursions aren’t better than dungeons , rank up materials are becoming much more abundant, gold is not, so they expect 4 year players to have to start grinding 2 hours a
    day to keep up if they don’t wanna buy sigil? I don’t buy sigil but I grind at least half hour a day, can’t keep up, could use 10m right now, finishing act 6 means you need about 8m for the rank up materials you get

    Gold has been an annoying bottleneck for the majority of the player base for at least the two years I've been playing, and it's the one taboo topic that kabam won't touch with a ten foot pole, no matter how many people scream about it. Simply put, you're wasting your breath. You'll never get an answer and they'll never make it better. Arena grinding until you hate the game is the only way to get the gold you need.

    That's most likely the case. Or ranking every single champ to "X" rank just because. That's not needed unless you're a arena grinder. Only take champs you don't plan on using to R1 during Test of Cavalier or Level Up events. Should only ever focus on targeted ranking for roster needs.

    Other than gold, and possibly act 7.1.1/7.1.2 kabam hasn’t been doing too badly. They have their flaws but are overall a pretty good company.

    Background: I have around 500 champs, I used to rank up 5* at least to r2, rank up 4* at least to r3, max out 3*/2*/1*. Playing in a retired alliance without donation requirement. So far I maintain around 1m gold regularly.

    Gold issue is presence but it is in relative sense. Depending your stage in game, rank up pattern, arena grinding, crystal opening, and etc. I agreed with you that one 5*r4 or 6*r2 can consume you almost a million of gold. Instead of writing ways (which I think you also know), I think you need to work out your own gold exploration and usage pattern, no one can answer you.

    Gold issue discussion post normally end up with some regular forum members jump in, show you the profile page with 10th million of golds and say I don’t have gold issue, or an high school essay analysing where’s gold come from....etc.

    I acknowledged the gold issue even though I’m an arena grinder, yet at the end of the day you need to work out your own gold exploration and usage pattern. Hope that helps.

    - Having random side quests that reward gold (like having Platinumpool appear in this month’s rifts to award you a crystal that gives you gold)

    And.. Kabam inflated gold by:
    - allowing you to rank up your champions. 🤦🏻‍♂️

    Wait if you’ve completed all the variants and have 12 3-4 gems I assume you’re a pretty endgame player, so how is ISO a problem? I’m nowhere near endgame status, i haven’t even got cavalier, and I’m securing enough dupes from 4 and even 5 star champions to rank/level up whoever I want pretty much whenever I want. You must be doing something wrong because yes, gold could be a problem, but you can sell red no way you don’t have tons of that

    There is no gold crisis. There is way more than enough gold available. I am consistently over 6 million because I just manage my resources.

    Whenever I see these threads I wonder what people's finances look like. Just need to apply the same concept to your online money.

    Thry have done that , yet it is not enough !! Check out kt1’s latest video , he addresses the same thing ...

    Tell me something , if 5 and 6* are more precious and difficult to obtain than 4*s , how come they give out the same amount of iso when duped ? That’s outrightly stupid
