Are July 4th Unit Offers Worth It For F2P Players?

This is the first time I’m actually in a position unit wise to purchase the 1000 unit and maybe the 4000 unit offer. As a F2P player, unit purchases are always important for the progression of your account. So do you think it’s better to spend 5k units on the offers or use them to push through more content like becoming cavalier. I’m currently uncollected and exploring act 5.
Thanks in advance

They are really good for 5* signature stones, which serious f2p players need for prestige reasons. I have saved 16,000 units for July 4th (f2p here). If you are not serious about prestige and AQ, the deals are still good though BUT clearing content is always great too.

If you are not yet cavalier then it's better to get a run in 6.1 to get the title. The title itself opens up plethora of options of rewards and also the tiers in offers are different for uncollected and cavalier.

It's generally a great deal to snag up the 1k unit offer. The 4k unit offer depends but if it's between that and becoming cavalier, I would say it's probably better to become cavalier. However, that's assuming you have the roster to make it worth the push. No one should be spending close to 4k units on 6.1 completion.

The best unit deals you'll see are on the 4th July and Black Friday. If you're okay for champs and rank up materials but have content to do, I'd save.. if you need something then best chance you'll get

There’s no guaranteed value in anything in this game. If you need units to do content and you were gonna buy them anyways than whatever but it’s likely you’ll just get a bunch of **** you don’t want or can’t use...believe me. Additionally this company has done such a **** job lately I don’t think they deserve to be paid.

He's talking about using FTP units, how exactly are they going to be paid, and why would that factor in to the OP's question?

I’m FTP. Never bought anything on the 4th with my units. I currently have nearly 10k units and I just reached over 10K prestige. I don’t think the offers are that great. Especially since we need to grind for our units. Unless the stones come in a selector, there’s no guarantee you’ll get what you need. Maybe this year the offers will be better so I say wait for the 4th and see for yourself if it’s worth it.

The 4k offer could have been better on cyber weekend, but I really liked it overall. Made a big impact on my account personally, and like you I had to grind before and save up for it (I bought 15k units worth, but didn't have enough units for the last tier with 6* shards)

The best items are usually in the 10k offer,

Ussualy, the best value is in the 1k and 10k offers. If you cant afford all, the 4k might not be worth it. At least for the high level players.
For lower level, it can make a decent difference, if you can even use the items

Since I don’t know what your roster looks like or know your playing ability, I would say this. Use your units to finish Act 5 and start on Cav immediately. I started 100% Act 5 then realized I have just 6 lanes to clear to Cav. I blew maybe a couple hundred units as I had saved some revives and heals (farm winter soldier).

Finally, look at the rewards for clearing the content and add that to what your units helped you purchase. As an example .25 of T5B, 3000 T2A shards, 150 Units, 6 5* sig stones, 1/5 6*, 1/2 5*,2>3 Rank up gem, 1 T4B, T4CC and 560K gold. This is what you get for clearing 6.1

Not to mention the rewards for finishing act 5. That’s just my 2 cents.

I’d say it depends how sweaty you’re willing to get in arena. If you’re an arena grinder and you can smash most of the arena milestones each rotation then it’s a no-brainer as you’re probably able to pull over 1000 units a week anyway.

The order that I usually prioritise the use of my units is:
    Masteries
    Content/refills
    Offers
    Charity
    Cav crystals

If you think you’re going to spend more than 1k units on becoming Cavalier you’re probably not ready for it yet.

It all depends what they include in the offers though, there’s been a big power creep recently and they may well split the offers between Cavalier and uncollected because I can’t see an offer that’s balanced between the two tiers being remotely attractive to someone like me who’s completed Act 6.
