Ronin, Top 5 Skill

As many forums users may know, I am a huge Ronin fan. In fact I would venture to say he is my favorite champion. And I have also been questions time and time again about whether or not he is actually all I sum him up to be.
I have decided to make a channel on YouTube for posting Ronin gameplay. I don’t care if anyone likes or anything, there just isn’t any other way to show the gameplay.
I was hoping for some people to request gameplay of him taking on certain nodes or scenarios/matchups whether it’s in aw or act 6.

Here is the channel, all that’s on there right now is a damage showcase. Also I won’t edit these videos or commentate them, I will just have Ronin gameplay.

I don’t know if I would say top 5 skill, we all know top 2 are nick fury and aegon, then night monkey is 3 i say hit monkey is 4 and I think I would still give blade or night thrasher the 5 spot over ronin, they just have a lot more utility and/or damage

Since we do Flow, there won’t be a Thing boss anytime soon, and we are currently doing map 6 to focus on war. Any specific questing Thing that i could try @PastorAmerica?

I understand that Ronin isn’t as good as people like Aegon or Nick. Probably not Hit Monkey either, but I’d say that after those three I would place Ronin there. Maybe after stealthy too. Blade doesn’t meet Ronins level without synergies, and frankly, most of the community doesn’t know how to play Ronin.

For Blade to be at the level of stealthy or Ronin, he needs an ideal matchup, or synergies. With synergies, or an ideal matchup, I might give Blade the edge over Ronin. But not by himself.

Blade has good niche matchups, magik mephisto being the main 2, outside of dimensional beings he needs synergy, and the main synergy is ghost rider. Now blade has a huge heal, and gr’s main appeal is regen, and it negates gr’s usefulness in any non generic matchup, meaning you’re bringing a near dead weight champ into the quest for blade, and he isn’t good enough to justify that. Also as for abyss stealthy is able to solo a multitude of fights, blade can’t and is there for literally a single matchup in the entire abyss

Ronin can shrug off debuffs has aar and I believe perfect block or block proficiency increase

Yes, Ronin has tons of utility. He can sustain defensive ability accuracy reduction that is equal of blade’s danger sense in all matchups. He can also get a near 100% chance to perfect block, a clutch evade, disorient, the ability to Bleed on blocks plus a few more things.

Ghost doesn’t need ant man like blade needs gr, she’s still a top 2 champ without him, blade is only a great option for like 5 matchups without gr

Not to mention that Ronin can convert 7 cruelties to 7 bleeds with the special 2, which is amazing with deep wounds.

I’d take stealthy over blade and starky any day. But there is an arguement for Blade over stealthy.(I’m trying to take stealthy to 6/3.)

I used him a lot in 6.2-6.4. His damage is easily enough, plus he has the uniltiy to deal with numerous niche nodes. He has the really high perfect block chance to deal with attack values, with makes up for his lack of regen.

If you’re on act 5 then yeah basic damage and a sustainable champ is enough, but both of those take a very sharp decline in act 6, you can’t waste slots on gr who doesn’t have much real use in act 6 at all, sparky doesn’t have the utility needed for most things, stealthy on the other hand has slow, the most valuable debuff in the game with way more uses than you think, in a generic matchup he also hits harder than sparky (with vulnerability up)

Yeah. I have completed act 6 and other than ghost, I probably used Ronin the most. Which quest in 6.2 are you on? I’d like to try and clear a path with Ronin.

Almost every evade miss and unstoppable matchup in the game, including 6.2 champion

I’d say he has quite a reliable slow. And his slow counters miss. He also has some amazing damage.
