Sabretooth and Sasquatch Synergy [Merged Threads]

Youtubers going crazy after this synergy. They are showing sabretooth so powerful that, it might convince kabam to nerf this synergy like they did it before. But to ramping up sabretooth to that level it needs 1200 to 2000 units worth of revive and potion and even more. They are doing it in ccp, that's why they can spam dozens of revive and lots of potion. But it’s not practical in actual contest.

Who use lots of revive and potion in normal quest?? Even in act 6.

It's still a great synergy without using all those revives. You will still get like 50 furies.

Yeah, it's great synergy. I'm just trying to show that this synergy not broken. Just making sabretooth comparable with aegon, though aegon have more ability after ramping up but still comparable because of damage and he will have uses now in long fight.

For some reason, Blackbolt’s furies and cruelty buffs are capped at 15 although it’s nowhere to be found in his description.

I'd expect st furies to also be capped at 999, like act 6 iw cap boss

Is that true or is it a recent change? I've used BB with full Royal Family synergies and I've been able to stack over 20 Cruelty buffs.

But... but... sabretooth crystal is available right now... it's only 300 units each !!!

I used zero units/revives on the path when I solo'd 6.2.6 Champion with Sabretooth in Act 6.

It's certainly very useful in normal content when you use it without abusing the furies with revives - if it stays this way.

If every quest in act 6 has like 7 to 8 fights , you cant reach 50 furies and so it really isn't a broken synergy . Broken if you're ready to spend in revives , but not if you're playing conservatively .

I think you missed the text list under his persistent charge that reads “At the start of the fight. If sabertooth has a persistent charge, he consumes one, Reactivating all fury effects That were active at the end of the last as permanent passive fury affects.” This line does not Specify if it only covert passive or active furies. But states all fury effects. This is why it is possible to carry over the 15 passives and the two active furies you would get with finishing a fight with a SP3...as a sabertooth truther this is something I’m constantly pointing out to those players that think this mechanic is a bug.

That damage comes with a cost. I don't see any problem in keeping it as it is.

You need to use roughly fifty revives to get to the insane amount of furies you see in these videos, it’s not practical or more economical than other options.
He still has the same utility as before so can’t help in fights that require more than just damage, and if you’re planning on using him in Abyss, good luck getting to a sp3 against the Collector.

It looks great in very specific circumstances, but I foresee a lot of disappointed players when they try it out.

Sorry for double comment, that was a mistake, unfortunately wasn't able to delete previous one.

Still it would be nice to know if Kabam is going to leave it as it is or nerf it, before people start to rank him up for sole purpose of exploring Abyss of Legends... As currently it's the only mode in which this heavy-revive rank-up makes sense, as normally you'd have to use like 4-6k units per lane anyway, and that way you can spend like 2k units for revives and then solo every fight.
So yeah, for many people it would be nice to know in which direction Kabam will go with this. So please @Kabam Miike @Kabam Zibiit @Kabam Vydious @Kabam Porthos @Kabam Lyra give us some answers.

What answers? The synergy cannot be more clear as it is stated in the Sasquatch Spotlight. And it certainly works as intended.

I believe that Kabam are fully aware of how strong this synergy makes ST. And they are also very well aware of how impractical (and actually... expensive) it is to apply it.

I'm now leaning toward them not changing it. The coordinated content dump by so many CCP guys at the same time makes it seem like they had been pointed to that mechanic by kabam, just like we would get every CCP member posting the same info (often the same wording) about the dev diaries.
Anyway, I wouldn't rank up sabertooth just for this synergy. As others have pointed out, it's mostly youtuber hype. Youd have a hard time building to 50k mediums in normal content on a live server.

I don’t see any issues with the synergy, the wording works out, and it’s not going to make him better than aegon for abyss or lab, and he can’t reach the levels of absurdity in story, he’s he can still deal great damage there, but keep in mind he still doesn’t have a ton of utility and does need a synergy to get all of this

Hey Kabam, can you let us know if this is working as intended? I’d hate to go for crystals and get Sasquatch only to find out shortly after that this wasn’t intended. I know you’d love this however... lol

This is the type of thing the community needs an immediate response on. If transparency is truly as important as Kabam says....let us know before thousands of folks go ranking up their Sabrerooth

Absolutely agree. It’s humorous how the ST crystals are available as these videos are coming out... and soon we will see Sasquatch... They really need to speak, the silence is unprofessional.
