Allllright. That was an episode and I don’t know where to start.
So, Pietro is a weird one. Is it someone Wanda has implanted his memories in? Or is it actually Pietro? He doesn't seem to remember everything from their past, but also seems perfectly aware of everything? Plus he appears dead. Is that wanda’s imagination or is it another vision situation?
So many more questions than answers. I’m inclined to think this is stunt casting and he actually was ‘recasted’. Literally. No subtext, they literally just recast Pietro, like they did with hulk.
One thing of note is that Pietro refers to Tommy and Billy as ‘demon spawn’. Considering one of the comic lines this is based on, this is either a massive hint or a red herring.
Next, they’re really going for Spectrum with Monica, there is no doubt at this point. We knew it was coming but it is being shoved in our faces at this point
But more importantly, if this is how Monica is after being through the barrier twice for a limited time, what’s it going to be like for the residents. And I suppose, darcy and the sword agents now. Is this mutants? Is this really it?
No, I don’t think so. Between the main plot, Spectrum, SWORD, and the so far unseen controlling force, plus maybe Agnes, I think this show would be waaaayyy too busy if it introduced mutants too. But maybe they’ll go for it
Not to mention Monica’s mysterious space engineer who is brought up once again, but not shown or named. This cannot be no one right? I’ve seen Reed Richards and Blue Marvel thrown around a lot. Last week the foreign subtitles showed the reference pronoun being feminine, but this week they get called ‘my guy’, which is typically masculine. Basically, we have no idea who it is but those two options aren’t off the table
Hayworth is clearly trying to get vision back because he was doing something sketchy with him. But we don’t yet know whether vision can survive outside the anomaly. Obviously he starts falling apart when he leaves, but that seems to be more due to wanda’s magic than him actually falling apart. Another question without an answer this episode. But he knows what is going on now, it’ll be interesting to see the dynamic between him and Wanda next episode
Agnes remains more aware than other residents. Why? Who knows, maybe she has a hand in the anomaly’s creation as we’ve theorised. But she seems blissfully innocent when vision awakens her. So I’ve got no idea what’s going on with her
I’m getting worried we’re all just factoring Easter eggs into the plot when they have no bearing
Funnily enough, the anomaly expanding is actually one of the less interesting parts of this episode, although the shots in the show were freaking excellent. It does show Wanda has a huge amount of power over this, even if she doesn’t know how it started
Much less sitcom this episode, at least, it didn’t feel like sitcom after the first 5 minutes. But it was pretty creepy at points, especially the lingering shot of the tear running down the woman’s cheek
Wiccan and Speed now have their powers, I’m now wondering if we’ll see them grow up now. That is, if they aren’t actually demon spawn.
Overall, enjoyed the episode a lot, somehow created more questions than answers even though we’re at the end of act 2 now.
It feels like this show could have almost endgame levels of payoff. Weeks and weeks of anticipation. I just hope it follows through
endgame levels of payoff that will spill into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
I follow a guy named “emergency awesome” on YouTube, should check him out! Has the best breakdowns on YouTube For shows and movies! The way he explains it is that is the mcu Pietro however once she brought his body through the hex Wanda just made him look like someone who just happens to look like The fox version of Pietro. So it’s not a some big multi verse cross over, she just reskinned him basically.
Also, Emergency Awesome is a bunch of bs. He just theorizes and stuff. He made an entire video about how the motion comic for December of last year was a teaser for into the spiderverse two

Don’t agree but to each his own, I like him.
still haven’t done the spoiler correct @Lightburn22
put the text between the <. div class="Spoiler"> and the < /div>
@SpideyFunko and whoever else wants to show how the type looks, you can put it all within the “code” function. Here are two identical messages, one as seen by you as you post it and another seen by everyone else once it has been posted.

Started watching. Then found myself fast-forwarding looking for action. Didn’t find much and stopped all together. Thought it was a dud
What episode did you stop on? Show kicks it up a notch in episode 4 and goes nuts from there
Agreed!
1-2 were painful. 3 opened the door. 4 blew it off the hinges. The rest have been stellar. Glad I stuck it out, because I almost threw in the towel too soon.
People saying its Mephisto who's going to turn out to be the guy pulling the strings. Nightmare was rumored to be the villain for Multiverse of Madness a while ago and this show is supposes to tie into that. I think it's more probably going to be Nightmare instead of Mephisto.

Yeah. Nightmare could be the real behind the scenes villan
Just want to come and put my prediction down for ridicule when this show is said and done.
The “Luke Skywalker level cameo” that Elizabeth Olsen has alluded to . . .
I think it will be Deadpool.
Just wanted to add another potential for the cameo
Mordo
My top 3 picks are Ultron, Deadpool, and Mordo
Mordo makes the most sense to me. Nightmare may be the villain in Strange 2 but I can’t see them introducing him in a tv show. Mordo trying to gain power to defeat strange by using Wanda is my theory.
Cant the mods just either edit non-spoilered comments into a spoiler or just remove them? Because it seems they keep telling you to make sure everyone puts things in spoilers which you have no power over.

Only time they took action was when someone blatantly described the leaked video on here and they deleted it
And while we’re on the topic of interesting discoveries, how did Agnes get back in the bubble? She said in the first episode she was out of town because her mother in law was here. But you can’t enter in the bubble, right? Not without being changed?

Now that I’ve said all that, my theory is this: Nightmare and Agnes (Agatha Harkness) have made some sort of deal, or Nightmare is maybe controlling Agatha. Together they are controlling or manipulating Wanda into creating this so they can take her kids and her powers. I’m willing to cash my chips in on this theory.
I like your theory Spidey, although I’m still skeptical about nightmare’s involvement. I don’t know, it just doesn’t feel like he would fit into the narrative.
We know this is a false reality rather than a dream/nightmare. And to what end would he be doing this? If he is in this, he’s 100% working with Agnes.
So while I might be skeptical, it’s very difficult to deny what’s right in front of me. It’s such a strange way to introduce a character though if this is how it pans out
