Honestly I think you could do some real good by retroactively sending anyone who bought an odin a 10% selector.

Not only are the cash offers for cavalier underwhelming, the unit offers are awful for F2P players. Disappointment would be an understatement. Why on earth would cavalier players want t4bc as part of the 1000 unit deal? I already have 10 in overflow.

It's part of the first Offer only. Which you still use them to Rank Champs.
The fact that you need to buy an offer that isn’t worth it to unlock the next deal is bs. Compare this with the 4th of July deals earlier this year, this is awful. And I’ve already mentioned that I have over 10 overflowing so I would have already ranked up champs if I wanted to.
You might, others might not. To the best of my knowledge, no one has outgrown T4CCs. At the very least, you need them to R2 a 6*.
I said T4BC not T4CC. The offers are worse than 4th of July deals period.
I don't know why people keep comparing them to the 4th of July deals. They have nothing to do with each other. The game would be in a sad state of affairs if they constantly had to do more every Offer. The bottom line is, you have a great deal of Resources that are offered this weekend which aren't normally offered for the price they are, regardless of what they gave before or what people think of them.
I'm not ignorant. I get that people are disappointed with them. Anyone with reading capabilities could see that. I'm also aware that it will affect the outcome of sales after this. I get it. I'm just not comparing it to anything else. These Offers are stand-alone.
Realistically, some people expected more towards TB. I understand that. Some even thought they'd be hitting TB with the Offers and scooping up more. A nice idea, but not a reasonable thing to assume. I'm speaking from experience. Anytime I let the hamster run and start building expectations, I end up setting myself up for disappointment because things rarely line up when they pan out. Which is why I've adopted a wait-and-see approach.
I just don't think catastrophizing and making claims of a slap in the face, or the myriad of other exaggerations are really appropriate to the situation. When people are saying it's their fault that their expectations weren't met, that's not really true. No one knew anything about what was coming. People filled in the blanks in their own minds.
I can understand that people wanted more, but I have to point out when these expectations aren't reasonable. I don't think it's reasonable for the game to know exactly what each of us need personally, and I don't think it's reasonable to think everyone that's Cav would get the Cat they needed to hit TB in one day.
Dude when they say the offers wont change in the email a week before the deals came out is basically saying we know they're **** but we will die on our sword. You can rant all you want about how great these deals are but deep down inside you know
They said the same thing last time. It means there are no new ones for Cyber Monday. What you see is what you get.
What you see is trash and that's what you get
We can tone down the exaggerating. They're not trash. They're not a slap in the face. They're not a sign of the Apocalypse. They're just not what people expected.
It IS a slap in the face. I grinded my ass off for units and saved up hoping to get better deals than last year. Something to help my game progression.
I at least expected to see a selector in the money offers.

But the decent deals are locked behind a peasant gate unlocked by luck? That makes all the time and REAL money i spent over the past year POINTLESS.

Moreover, TB real money offers are more value than CAV - despite it being the same money. The whole concept is mindblowing. As if cavalier aren't dedicated customers.

As a customer, that is EXACTLY what i call a slap in the face.
A slap in the face? They gave a significant amount of Resources which would otherwise be earned over time, in exchange for Units and/or money, and in the case of the money deals, the value of what's regularly offered was increased greatly by adding other things. You're certainly entitled to your feelings on it, but it's not a slap in the face.
Part of the problem is that each reduced the value of the other. That is, some of the cash bundles offered items completely absent in the unit offers, thus reducing the value of units. And with the value of units reduced, those units attached to the cash were also less desirable. But the cash offers (for cav, at least) aren’t strong enough to stand on their own. And the unit offers aren’t good enough to drive anyone to buy the cash bundles to get them?? These are synergistic offers, but thus time they cooperated to create a very undesirable consumer response.
I'm not sure why they would have to contain the same Items. There are Cash Offers, and there are Unit Offers. Some people might have to buy the Units to get the Unit Offers, but they're not automatically correlated. There are options on both fronts. I'm Cav, and the only one I didn't find to be particularly motivating is the Peter Parker, simply because the Frags and Units weren't much help.
Because some items have been too aggressively walled behind cash, to the extant that units feel like a second rate currency. I think that point has been established by the FTP community.
There is no competing with people that spend. There's no comparison. People who don't spend will never keep up with those that do. They can play alongside them, and be competitive, as BG has proven. They just can't keep up with them. That's what people are paying for. I have no idea where the F2P/P2P myth came from, but it's not going to happen.
    Did you watch his video?
No, but I heard the gist of it was he was disappointed. I'm going to be totally honest here. If I had the Units I would have bought everything. Where else are you going to get a 6* AG? Not many places.
It's not a one-stop for everything we need in the game. Who would play or work towards anything after that? The most valuable Resource is T5CCs. Do I think it sucks that it's being trickled? Sure. I'm further off than most people here. I understand it. I don't have to like it. I just get it.
As he said in his video, that 6* in lots of instances (even after an AG) is essentially useless compared to 5*s due to a ridiculous lack of sig stones available.
Just saying for me personally. I have options that I would much rather be Awakened than not. I'm sitting on a few Stones as well.

Also great idea giving LESS T5CC than the 4th of July when A BUNCH of us NEEEEED it to become a thronebreaker. I Saved money AND SKIPPED THE 4TH blindly thinking “oh cyber weekend will be better!” Thanks for making me question my desire to spend on your game

Another thing is...with Cavalier...if you bought all the deals plus the unit ones, you'd have way too many t2a and can't even upgrade any champ because no t5b. I guess Kabam didn't think about that.

They gave no T2a to TB apparently. What a weird bunch of offers.
The t5b to t2a balance has been totally out of whack for quite a while for high tier players. Same with T4cc of all things actually.
So, totally off the wall question: would you have bought some of the cav offers for the t2a, if you could have gotten them?
Personally, no. I'm sure a lot of people may have. I stepped back from high rank AW/AQ last month so my rankups have ground to a halt compared to before and I had a decent stash of them built up prior to today
Isn’t that something, though? Even for TB, the cav offers from July are still better, in some ways. This split made it easier to keep resource gates on both ends.
Today's TB cash offers had more of what I'm mostly concerned about (t5cc and 6* sigs), also more of what I don't really care at all about (3 champ nexus crystals), and less or none of what I still somewhat would have liked to see (6* shards, t2a, T4cc, and t4b).

No offer is going to be perfect for everyone. I got mostly shafted from everything but the t5cc selectors today. Every single champ crystal was a miss or something of minimal benefit (sigs on CMM and Ghost). Unfortunately that's the nature of the game we all choose to continue to play.

While I think the reaction to the cav offers is being blown way out of proportion (that's kind of what this community seems to do about everything though), I did think they would have been better than they were. The unit caches were just terrible for everyone and I'd really be annoyed if I was f2p and a grinder
Yeah, I saved 20000 units on my main, and that without playing February thru mid July (the first Covid wave). BUT, I think next month will be good, and GGCs, right?

But I do wonder if these guys now regret saying they will keep the offers up for 4 days....

Not getting anything good far as t5cc is bad and all, but my opinion is its much worse. I mean NOT EVEN T5B!! Thats where the biggest middle finger comes from imo. Cavs need to progress 6*s. Not rank 4 to 5 gems. Unbelievable!!

Lol TB did not get any T2A. I guess we do not need T2A to rank up champions anymore once we are TB. The deals are all around illogical and thought up within a day

Still don't know what will be in the GGCs this year. I can't see them adding t5cc or 6* sigs with how they still seem to be holding those quite tight to their chests. You can usually end up with some pretty good stuff from them though.

Going from 55% of a T5CC to 0% in the unit deals is the definition of trash. Does Kabam pay you to polish their balls?
Going from what exactly? These Offers come out as they come out. There's NO comparison. Each one is planned on its own, and depends on what they want to offer, within the balance of availability and the rarity of what's current. Don't know how people expect them to line up with each other, but they're not perpetual. They're not designed to best the previous one like Dudley Dursley getting birthday presents.

I'm really thankful for the offers. I could not resist in the past do spend 200-300$ on the offers, as they were too good.

This time, being Cavalier, it was noo problem to pass one the offers. After opening 3 featured crystals from the 10$ offer and just getting trash, i was so glad I couldn't buy their TB offers. 😅

But really do not think this will be good for Kabam wallet.

That’s fine for me. I really don’t need anything like that, I just need them to be fun. To be honest in the last couple of months I’ve just run my various accounts through whatever interests me when I have the time, and I’ve picked up class and generic five star awakening gems, and crazy rank up resources on all of them, even the baby uncollected ones. This month especially was nuts, as uncollected was enough work to get that generic awakening gem, and uncollected this month was the easiest I’ve ever experienced. So it’s a good time! CM really only sucks for me because it does kind of suck, which takes the love out of the game a bit. So bring on Christmas!

It will be interesting. I'm curious about their approach to shady dealings. Focusing more on Solo. Not that I think it prevents things from happening. It will be easier to deal with.

CM really only sucks for me because it does kind of suck, which takes the love out of the game a bit. So bring on Christmas!
It will be interesting. I'm curious about their approach to shady dealings. Focusing more on Solo. Not that I think it prevents things from happening. It will be easier to deal with.
The least appealing part of it are those ridiculous top rank awards. I want a secret Santa with cool openings, they want to hold a cross between the Irish Sweepstakes and the Winter Olympics.

How come the unit deal is a hour long deal while the paid deals are good for the whole weekend and then some? Like i get that kabam wants to reward people who buy but its annoying that a FTP player like me doesnt have time to decide or finish grinding for the deals, but a person who wants to spend money can take 5 days and finally decide. Like regardless of how you feel about the deals, I feel like cyber monday deals should exist on cyber monday not black friday because i personally need 300 more units for the 4k deal and i wont be able to get it before the timer expires and NO im not buying money and i understand i could have grinded earlier but it just seems inconsiderate to the people buying unit deals

You make a valid point. They knew they could only milk people who actually had jobs (eyeroll)
