Summoners, we recently encountered an issue with the Alliance Quest Setup Phase Starting Timer that may cause the Setup Phase Starting Timer to display erroneous information, though we are working on a fix for it as quickly as possible. Additionally, if the Setup Phase does not let you plan your days in advance, you will be able to once the Event officially begins on the Alliance Quest Start date.

For clarity, the next Alliance Quest Enlistment Phase will begin on December 5 at 20:00 UTC, regardless of what the in-game timers display.

The next Alliance Quest Start will be on December 6 at 20:00 UTC. This is when Summoners should be able to enter each Map.

    It is for sure getting worse for me too...Specials I could dex in my sleep are now clipping somehow. Parry timing is way off, and it affects my dex timing too. I hope this is resolved quick...

    Nah but fr holl I got an iphone 7 and besides fights with 7 frames a second, parry and dex fails about 1% of the time. And that could just be me being bad idk.

    I'll say, I've already uninstalled the game. I've played since 2016. But as a developer my self, it's pretty inexcusable that something like this happened.

    Their development sprints are so poorly managed that I can't deal with it anymore. There's no way something like this should have gotten through unit testing, review, QA testing, and UAT (which they obviously don't use) if something like this happened at my company the entire team would be replaced. I have been creating software at startups since 2006, and I am a Director of Software Architecture now helping approve all design/product/architecture/DB decisions, mentoring/pairing with team members, implementing entire SDLC process (they used excel when I first got there and now were are running many teams in scrum of scrums lol), helping build the terraform to scale our infrastructure, etc. etc.

    I am in disbelief Kabam didn't simply revert or figure out what changes you made even using just pure guesswork if you don't know your devs don't understand your codebase by reverting game mechanic changes 1 by 1 in the amount of time it has taken. This would never stand where I work and we have to maintain 3 9s of functioning product uptime, and we would have had a hotfix if a product-breaking issue slipped through our process. Seriously, I will come work for you if you guys need help. If I had to guess based on observation, the original devs probably left when Netmarble acquired you and you lost all the subject matter expertise that they had regarding the code and side effects from changing areas in the game, which snowballs further into a positive feedback loop of a high turnover rate. I don't remember the game really having ANY noticeable bugs prior to 12.0 being released, which was the first release after Kabam was acquired.

    Let me know if you need help. I probably know the product requirements better than many of your own employees having played since 2016. I'm not trying to sound elitist or be condescending towards your team or process, but rate of game-breaking bugs and community frustration should be worrying when you guys are losing so much revenue (or maybe you aren't and that's why you haven't invested in code quality). This is what happens when tech debt is ignored and turnover is high. It's sad to see for a game that has had so much potential. I just cannot understand how after over a week "you think" you have a fix and didn't revert the mechanics changes and figure this out on a branch instead of making the community suffer.

    Otherwise, it is a bummer to not be able to play the content.

    They just want us to all go enjoy Realm of Champions. It works better than MCoC for now; if you can deal with the heavy server lag and immense battery drain. Oh yeah, then there’s the whole “Gear” initiative! 😅

    Sounds like MCOC went into this month with a cascading failure mod and now the dev team is planning out their item usage before calling it quits.

    I understand it might be hard to identify and fix the bug, the solution needs to be properly tested etc.
    But why don’t you revert the game to the state it was stable and let us play normally while you work on the fix?

    It’s hard to believe it’s just because you would lose a little bit of income due to people not exploring new content, that came with the update…

    What don’t you understand? I play on ipad2, some play on iPhones 7,8,9,10 etc..., some play on Samsung, some on google, some in asia are playing on devices we don’t even have in the west. Some are playing with different operating system updates etc... and hardware is different from country to country, and the game has to work on all of them. Yes it’s complicated but other companies do fine. Kabam is a mess

    When exactly the hell is this going to be addressed? I'll tell you when.

    When it's time for the next monthly update.

    They have *zero* incentive to release a special fix when they can simply count on people having to use up resources for the month, then issue a "clean" update at the regular time. Sure they'll send out some apology emails with 'stuff' that costs them nothing. But actually pull people in and pay overtime when they could just wait it out a few weeks? Kabam doing that?

    Edited to add that I am pretty sure this all relates to the worst ongoing issue… lag. I’m betting something happened that introduced the standard lag for certain players to a ton *more* players. And they rightfully got upset… lol.

    The parry issue has already been addressed they doing a beta and yeah ur probs right that it be next build as most likely will require an update so probs be put out with next update, and if they had everything done like a build with the fix already they would of let people update to that they wouldnt just let people play with core mechanics broken and using resources is the player fault than kabams since ur the one playing when things are broken.

    Any updates regarding parry\dex issues. Tough to work on harder content with this issue going on. And no updates, not that I can find anyway. Some kind of update would be appreciated. It might just be time to put the game down after all these years.

    I don’t think we will get a fix this week. If you think about it, the testing still needs to be done for the potential fix. It’s not verified that the fix is actually working. My understanding is that Kabam will test the fix themselves first. Then when they are satisfied, the fix will go out to those signed up. These are what are called the “friendlies.” This should allow testing across all platforms and devices that are supported and their users signed up. I’m not sure of what kind of release this will be considered but any major release will need to get approved by Apple and Google before it can be made available to public. Based on all this I’m guessing the fix will be coming at some point next week assuming the potential fix being tested works.

    True. On top of that, if the fix doesn't work, it's gonna take another few weeks to make a new fix, and they'll test that one as well. This could take a while folks.

    I just failed to remove the last node on AQ… and also 3 champs KO on AW… today

    The other member seem to be dealing with this bug just fine…

    Man… this problem cause me a lot of stress… to be the only man left that not reach the final path . Only person in alliance…

    Hope Kabam team fix it soon…

    Any form of update on the beta fix testing and rollout timeframe would be extremely welcomed. As many have stated above, it's clear the community are beginning to lose patience with this.
