Objectives are really bad and boring But if you gonna do it , I recommend do it in 6.2.3 icarus Just use ghost or anyone who can shrugg of debunks Fights go really fast but energy cost still sucks It's like 150 energy for all of Objectives
I actually don’t mind this one I grinded through the ridiculous 100 fights thing in week 2, made me play arenas, which I hate
This one? I’m just going to run 7.1.1 Flare Path It’s costly in terms of energy but you can pretty easily run that and get 6 fights a run for about 57ish energy If I run that 3-4 times a day I’ll finish it easily
It’s pretty erroneous on energy but it’s too early to grind refills and revives for next months content and I’ve already finished all this months, so I don’t mind it
If you are going to repeat a quest, do the 6.2.3 CMM with Doom ... it's a very quick fight .. Doom can actually autoplay it .. you just have to keep pressing exit > restart.
I did that with Corvus.. 16-18 hits and then press button 5 times to restart. 50 times!!!!!! 🤦♂️
Having now done this I can honestly say this is the most boring and uncreative objective I have ever seen. The 100 fights last week was no issue and could be done with normal game play, but this is a ridiculous waste of in game energy and offers zero challenge to anyone.
Let’s hope for something mildly interesting next week
Your forgetting the energy requirements to get this knocked out. It's alot fyi.
Meh. I have EQ done, and Energy Refills. Not a lot for me.
Any path in 6.2 and beyond generally uses a full energy bar. One path is anywhere from 7 to 10 fights. That's a massive amount of energy refills.
Guys you don’t have to run an entire lane. Find a section that has champs on 1st node and fight restart. 6.2.3 cost 3 energy per fight. Have choice of cmm or antman. Move one spot fight restart easy.
Tbh I find fighting act 6 fights fun. It's interesting and more than a mindless grind. My problem is that we need to do it 50 times.
I agree. Angela on Icarus is a blast, so at least I'm enjoying the grind somewhat. However, I've done maybe four runs between Act 6 and 7 and am still not done with the Cav objectives. That's a lot of energy. If I'm supposed to do the UC ones as well (those are the two levels of objectives I've bothered with so far), that's even more energy. Way more than I'd normally spend in a week (at least in Act 6).
Kabam, listen to the players. Drop the requirement for these objectives to be necessary for October. Or give everyone access to the week 5 objectives. The feedback here is overwhelmingly negative. It doesn’t have to be like this.
This is our first month doing this Double Month side quest thing, and we're still learning. I definitely see why this is frustrating though, and even though we tried to lighten the burden by reducing the number of fights from the last week, it might not have been enough.
I can't spoil anything, but I do think that you'll want to complete at least one of these difficulties all the way through, even if it's just the easiest one so you have access to the October Side Event.
So are you saying that if we complete the easiest level we'll gain access to the best rewards? So we can do Proven objectives and get access to the t5c selector and other stuff, or are the rewards unlocked locked behind the difficulty level you complete this month
Yes! If you complete even the Heroic difficulty this month, you'll have access to them all next month.
Wait wait wait wait WAIT WAIT WAIT. This literally changes EVERYTHING. I know the announcement said we only needed to complete one objective set to unlock next month, but it also said everyone was going to get a variation based on progression level: I assumed they were there so completist could farm them all, but you were supposed to do the one that matched your progress level.
If you can literally do *any* of them and unlock *all* of next month, I think that's critical information that has been obfuscated for most players. It means the difficulty of going through the objectives is based on how hard the easiest one is, and that's the proven one. The grind is way less oppressive if that's all you need to do. Since I see people posting Reddit guides and video guides on how to complete the *highest* objective in the easiest possible manner for players, I'm guessing a lot of people are unaware that the easiest path through the objectives is not to try to cheese Cavalier, it is to sleep walk through Proven. Proven is 35 fights in Act 1. That's basically a few autofight paths of low energy.
Sure, you'd be passing up the objective rewards, but come on: who but the completists cares about those. I mean, I'm going to do them all, but no normal human would want to, and I think most people don't know that they don't need to.
I still have a pretty substantial problem with this, when it comes to going out of my way to complete the objectives. I still have some unexplored paths in Act 7 and all of Act 6, so while it's really weird and annoying to leave the monthly EQ unfinished to do that instead, it's not extremely far out of my way, just pretty far. However, there are players that have 100% everything, for whom this is much worse than even for me. This is also discounting the potential horrors of the next two objectives on the Cav level.
On UC level, the first week was extremely easy, just autofighting some of the Shang-Chi challenge with r1 5* Storm. Week 2 is currently on 0/100, because where exactly am I going to find 5* opponents to defeat with special attacks while doing Cav and UC EQ? Nowhere, that's where. I'd have to go out of my way to find opponents to do that with. I guess I could do the later quests of SCC. Then I'd need to do (presumably) Act 5 quests enough times to defeat 50 opponents. I have 100% explored act 5 and everything below, once again it would require going out of my way.
On conqueror level, I'd still need to do the first week, so I guess more SCC like with Storm, just with r5 Iceman this time? Weird, but I'll allow it. Then find myself 100 4* opponents to defeat with specials, but not with specials that utilize burst damage or DoT. I certainly won't find those in my regular questing content, thereby going out of my way. Then I'd need to win ~50 figths in (presumably) Act 4. GoomW.
Lastly, proven. First, find a place to win 25 fights with unranked 3* champions. GoomW. Then, win 100 fights against 3* with specials. GoomW. Then, autofight Act 1 for a while. GoomW. Then whatever other horrors are left waiting, presumably requiring more GoomW.
While cav is pretty terrible, the lower levels are just further and further out of my way. It barely reduces the annoyance factor, or even makes it more annoying.
In case you're at a loss as to what GoomW means, it's just shorter than writing "going out of my way" 6 times, because I've used that phrase to death in this comment
I'm not saying the objectives aren't bad. What I'm saying is that we should be advising players who think they are so bad they can't or won't do them even if it means passing on October's side quest to grit their teeth and autofight their way through Act 1 while catching up on Netflix just so they don't pass on October's rewards, then come back here and grumble about the objectives being bad.
How r u auto fighting the special forces objective?
I was referring to this week's objective. The easiest way to complete the Proven Special Forces objective is to bring a reasonably strong team into any content with 3* champions, like Heroic say, and let the opponent pound on you until you have enough energy to kill them with a special attack. That's not quite autofight, but it doesn't require a ton of attention either. It is basically three taps per kill, more or less (move to fight, start fight, tap special).
You aren’t understanding. For someone who only did uncollected and cavalier difficulty objectives before now cannot see proven objectives. I have to go back to week one which is using 3* kitty, iceman objectives first before doing specials forces and then doing this weeks.

Thats the thing doing 1 fight restarting quest gets boring it would of been better if this came out when there was 7.3 since be fresh new content and no one wouldnt of cared about 50 fights since wasnt in content they have already 100%. I done 6.2.3 and it was boring going in and out yeah fast but its not motivating me to quest anymore this week
Side note: just so I understand it, playing through the objectives will give me a quest(s) where I can get 28 runs at any of the top items in the Legendary chart below as well as one run at each item under Legendary in the bottom chart.
Is that correct? Is there any additional info on the PI for defenders in that quest(s)? Energy requirements? Able to do all at one time or have to stagger entries?
Asking for a friend who’s trying to figure out if this is all worth it.
7.1.3 Blaze power shield path. 1 L1 kills them. Restart after first 2 fights. Under 10 seconds per fight. I had some extra enery refills, so I'm done. All difficulties, less than 24h after release. I prefer these type of side quest/objective/content over the type with entry reset every day, or collecting keys over a month.

@DrZola yes, correct. sorry for the tag, didnt want to quote the entire thing
I’m curious then…Miike made the statement it would all be worth it for next month. Is there something else? Are we able to autofight against 1* defenders to get all that stuff? That stuff is good, sure, but it isn’t mind-blowing.
Just trying to scope out what if anything I’m missing?

Just realized that the limited pool crystals are only for 4 and 5* ... that's just ISO at this stage for me
I realize it doesn’t have to appeal exclusively to veterans, but that’s disappointing unless it’s a Odin/Shang/Kitty/Nimrod/Herc crystal.
the energy cost is the killer for this week . its gonna be super expensive to do tb an cav
I've been grinding 5.3.6 for energy refills all afternoon (get 1-2 each run on the upper left path) to do the UC objective of beating act 5 defenders. Then by the time I'm done I'll have enough energy to go cheese CMM in 6.2.3 the required 50 times. Gotten 3 refills extra from 2 runs already.
It's boring though.
Act 5 and higher quests cost so much energy to complete, do you really come out much ahead trying to get refills that way?
You do actually unless you are racing a clock - I used 5.3.6 to farm for Gauntlet & SOP. Frequently when refills or revives drop there is a 40% chance (roughly from my experience) of getting two of each on a path in that chapter. If it's just one that turns up, I use the energy I have then go do something else until my energy comes back to avoid wasting the refill that is there. I haven't seen that anywhere else including v7 classic or 4.1.6.
So go in with full energy, get 1-2 refills, use your own energy to reach iceman typically... then go do something else for 30- 60 minutes then return and finish the quest.

Exactly!
They keep on hyping up next month but so far it doesn’t seem Extraordinary. Then again Miike did he can’t spoil anything so I’m assuming there is more too it than meets the eye

What am I supposed to be doing?
Do I only need to bore myself doing one objective for the difficulty level until they stop appearing or all of them for the particular difficulty?
stupid auto correction
