How bout the special bias some champs have....War machine just throws that sp1 into my block. Other champs throwing random heavies. Cannot wait for AI Quake to shake and bake us.
Update on BS in war: I was fighting an Ebony Maw (easy fight with HT), however I came out of the fight with 20% health. How? Well I parried Ebony Maw, heavied (to get myself back to max temp) and my heavy GOT PARRIED! Not resisted...PARRIED!
I have heard this being mentioned before but never experience it. Wish there was theatre mode so I could share, sadly I did not record.
If this is not all input issues but a mix of that and AI upgrade or changes, this will be too wierd and crazy even for Kabam that they will change the AI in the middle of game crisis. Then again it's Kabam we're talking about full of surprises.
I think it's easier and quicker to ship something from Amazon from a different country than it is for the ai to throw a special even doing all the baiting methods I could. I see YouTube vids and livestreams of people being able to bait the ai with no hassle. Me tho? I can NEVER bait the ai to throw the specials. It's not that I don't know the methods, it's just that they don't do it. Usually they only throw their special attacks if: - the instant they get to Special 3 - Their special is nearly impossible to avoid - Death touch - They can special intercept me the instant before I hit them
I don’t know why Kabam thinks these AI changes are going to keep players. All it seems to is piss players off. Just trying to suck revives and units out of players. Even more so because the game isn’t in a good state, but the game has always has issues. But Time will tell.
The AI has definitely taken steroids, its has got really annoying to the point where my interest for MCOC has gone down, I just get on make my moves in AW or AQ and then i close the app.
Given the apparently new A.I. counter, I tried to put my champ in autoplay and see whether my champ also become smarter under new A.I. ......... but the result is not that good unfortunately.

Imagine haha, the autofight AI being better than normal players.
This may have been mentioned already in this thread but when fighting any champ in any part of the game they get massively passive so you're baiting for ever their sp2
I’m really disappointed with having no response on a problem that was brought up in November.
There aren’t many things that make the game feel actually unplayable. For me, I’ve managed to deal with the parry problem even if it’s annoying. Changing timing of when to parry is possible, even if it’s a pain. And at least we’ve had constant updates and feedback about this issue.
But there is nothing you can do to stop the AI trying to do their best impression of MJ and moonwalk back into their corner, not throwing a single special until you dash back, then they time it perfectly to catch you.
This issue is making the higher tiers of the game feel unplayable to me, and I don’t mean “the buttons are too small” unplayable. I mean I don’t want to play those parts of the game because the AI stresses me out.
I hope that since the holidays are coming to an end, we can get people on this issue and actually get a response. Because the combo of this issue killing my drive for higher tier content, and the utterly deafening silence we have about the issue is worse than the parry issue has ever been.

I was hoping given the volume of traction on this discussion that we would have had a response, but nope, still none!
If it's an increased AI complexity, then it's okay. This is something I'd probably like to have. However, I'd rather say that I experience more noticeable issues when parrying and false moves when I don't trigger them. I mean I can recognise between when it's my fault and AI punishes me versus, and when it just doesn't work properly.
i get that some of the ai fights are too easy but this is hard on lower lvl players/inexperienced players (aka me)so the ai getting harder and faster is really not helping attract new players
I am not sure whether I am one of few who have suddenly experienced the increased skill from the AI's; let me explain.
I have within the last month or so noticed the AI, recovering significantly quicker from attacks. An example being dexxing Terrax's heavy and when going to punish getting parried or intercepted; this has happened to me with Doom as well. Unfortunately I do not have footage as it seems to be random.
I have also noticed that the AI seems to be special intercepting me more often, dodging specials (usually the first hit or so), hitting some incredible light intercepts (some of which put me to shame lol). The AI could be holding block in their corner with a bar of power and as they are holding block, I will aim to hit their block and they will launch a special right in my face.
I don't know whether I missed a patch note where they started to put the AI on a Steroid Cycle, or whether I am slowly losing the ability to play the game lol. This has been mentioned by others in my alliance so I hope it's not just us.
Anyone else? Or am I just trash
I am absolutely with you on both of your points, AI and the last one,

My favorite is the total removal of the action point. And the Ai just walks right up to you. Not blocking. The moment you attack. They block. Or sidestep and counter you.
I agree on every point made, it's been like this for a couple of months from what I can tell. To me it also seems like the AI has "situational awareness", wondering what you guys think. Example: when using Mysterio sfter an sp1 I'll drop block and expect to get hit to reflect damage. The AI will just stand there holding block until the timer is almost out, then land a hit to leave me open for a combo. There's more things I've noticed too, just wondering if others are seeing this kind of stuff.
I’m all for increasing the difficulty of the AI, but it’s clear they’ve given much more than just an increase in difficulty, I have fights where the opponent waits out ghost’s phase (same as the mysterio sp1 stated above) I’ve been parried from my own heavy attack in AW, in normal quests it seems the AI runs at least 1 point in limber because my stuns last a micro second shorter. And the kinetic shield nodes are almost impossible now because I some parry 50% of the time when I’m trying the dex. There’s much more going on with the AI, they have much quicker recovery times now, they have high situational awareness, that goes for the nodes that are active and depends on the attacker you bring in, and it’s very strange that there isn’t a single answer from kabam employees along with nothing mentioned in the files and updates.
A big issue I often see is trying to dash in, the AI seems to know ahead of time that I am dashing in, and the AI is able to dex at the last millisecond, then combo me. Doesn't happen all the time, but frequently enough that it's clear the AI has an advantage and is quite an annoying bug.
Whenever I fight Venompool and Miles they special intercept me with their sp2s the moment they reach it so i have to bait it out. If i even attempt to attack into their block when they have a sp2 i'm getting hit 100%
I have the same issue with venompool. Not miles though. I also find that my block drops sometimes when the opponent hits into my block with a full combo. I had that with the tigra boss on the side event while using torch. The AI is getting smarter for sure.

The special intercept is a big one. I have tested against CapIW where he is just holding block in the corner with a sp2. Dash in to hit the block and straight up special intercept....then dead. I could show this religiously.

I feel that the ai is much faster now
