How many 6* shards do you earn from doing max Sunday arenas ? Versus how many are available in this 7-day one ?
And for “reducing the # of champs useable can only reduce the amount of people able to participate” ?? Just the reverse, how would you expect people with only 4* and a few 5* to complete against those people who have enough 6* to put up 220m in a 3-day normal arena score ?
The Milestones and Star usage are set so that EVERYONE would be able to have rough equivalency of reaching it in similar duration. Since the event is for everyone.
The issue is not that the event is a grind. It always has been a grind. It's just disappointing that it is the same effort for the same rewards that maybe made sense for people 3 years ago. The ability to get resources has changed and I'm clearly not alone in thinking that those changes might carryover to this event. It's a great opportunity for people who have very few 6 Stars to grab another. There are a lot of people (myself included) who's longest Arena streak is from this very event but years earlier. Now that I have more avenues to get 6 Star shards, it is harder to justify this level of work for the rewards offered.
What I don’t understand, is that I’ve got over 2000 arena boost crystals, and over 8 million solo objective shards, but I can’t get a 2 star arena boost to save my life.
I do agree on this one; I work 9-5 and the sheer amount of grinding required is probably going to take more time than I have in the day. A multiplier means we could at least get a lot of the rewards with a decent amount of fights!
Last year's feedbacks were pretty much same about fighting 220 Series with 660 fights with 2*, kabam said there was nothing they can to after launch the event and shared the feedback for further celebrations, clearly something went wrong and team didn't get the feedback, there is no other logical explanation for this.

This isn't a ranked event. You are not competing against anyone. If they allowed all champ rarities, that person who has 4 Stars and a few 5 Stars would have an easier time getting that 6 Star which is very meaningful rewards for them. The person who can put up 220M is, comparatively speaking, receiving significantly less impactful rewards.
Just started and haven't been able to fight with it crashing twice already now. This will take a while at this rate, but great opportunity for patience.
As a teacher, the next few weeks will be crazy getting back to school. There is absolutely no way I will be “celebrating” this year. The design of these kind of events is getting weaker by the year
Kabam, please do not continue doing things like this and consider it appreciation or celebration for your community. This makes people upset and reasonably so. It is one thing to have a challenge to earn some really nice rewards that rewards you for skill to complete something, but this isn't the same. This is decent rewards for way too much time to spend for it.
Kabam there are things I and other community members have appreciated. Things like reducing the energy spent on Act 5 and Act 6. Removing the class gates in Act 6 Chapter 2, addressing Juggernaut in Act 4. So please consider the comments about this legendary celebration arenas (5* and 6*), consider bringing back special boost for using 1* and 2*, think about other innovations which the community would appreciate and would be helpful for positive moral and excitement for the community and game at large.

I hate arena with a passion. I barely even hit milestone 3 on the basic 4* (for the past couple of years). But, in what arena can you get a guaranteed 6* in about 4 hours? This one. It's not that bad - especially if you have a stacked 2* roster. If I get another beast dupe, i'll be bummed, but if I dupe Doom, I'll be over the moon. To me, this is a better gamble and less arena grind than any other 6* basic arena. And my account isn't shabby (2.4m rating). I honestly don't think this is that bad. People are making it out as though this is longer than the regular 6* arena to get the main prize - which is limited to just a small percentage of people, and this is available for everyone.
Why not allow us to use 3* so we can use those fancy arena boosts? That would help us get to the finish line quicker but not too quick
That would be good. There are lots of ways they could make this better. Allow higher rarities but boost the points for 2*s and 1*s. Double the battlechips. Cut the points in 1/2 between milestones.
There must be a mistake, the points earned in these arenas are wrong, to reach all the objectives it will take forever more than 250 matches, please check the points earned per match

Around 18k per round once reaching to fight Summoners' roster.

Funny thing is, 6 star shard are a LOT easier to come by compared to the last time they did this. Have fun for those who are doing this event. My heart goes out to you.

Everyone would benefit if there was a larger multiplier whether it be from higher rarities or buffs to the 2 star multiplier. Even if Im generous and say that there would be the same number of complaints either way (there wouldn’t) it still doesn’t detract from the positive change it would be

1. No 6* shards in the free calendar. 2. Can't even use our vast roster of 6* to speed up the shard arena grind 3. The non-consumables(refills / boosts/ potions) rewards of the 7 hour crystal is also lacking

It is longer..... and that arena, you know what you are getting. This arena is a pool of 230 champs. The math ain't mathing

I've done 2 rounds of this in 1.5 hours for 1 million. That's going to be 6 total hours over 4 days and could spread that to the 3 others, but won't need too cause this is nothing for all the people who grind. Compared to 16 hours over a weekend for a chance at a 6* that you could miss out on? Come on!
