Thoughts on SQ Objectives?

I've played this game for long time, this will be the first time ever I will see objectives not completed at month end.
I understand Kabam pushing Relics on us but the hardest objectives only giving relic stuff just doesn't make it worth doing, especially the Level 5 difficulty only offering 250 5* relic shards (2.5%), should be some 6* minimum surely?
Before anyone starts with the 'you don't have to do it' comments, we're supposed to want to do this or at least feel like we should be doing it to progress further.

In some ways it makes the game easier to ignore these objectives. On the other hand, these objectives used to have some juicy rewards. Maybe these are obtained in the side quests completion now… I don’t know. But relic rewards might as well be premium shards in my book.
I prefer when there are fewer objectives or, if there has to be many, that they are spread out over the month. I find that the messages of the objectives become much clearer then. If there are too many of them, all the text kind of blurs together for me and it's easy to miss things.
Absolutely trash and not worth doing (for me at least). Literally zero incentive. Relics dont offer me a thing for the time/effort that would be put into those side quest challenges
I don't think there was any valid reason for relics in a first place. Also I only do highest difficulty sq most of the time for more than a year by now
280 fights across 5 difficulties in 28 days. Last month was 144 across 4 difficulties in 35 days. It’s a HUGE increase in commitment before you even account for the fact it’s all harder. And all of this is being asked in a month where war and BGs ran almost all month, and EOP launched.
Plus, the later weeks were “hidden” behind early weeks. If you screw up your solo twice in week 2, for example, you’ve gotta clear it a third time for no rewards besides the objective and ability to get later objectives.
Really I can’t see the point on that.
Also SQs that have these format and objectives should be 0 energy.
I messed only once and didn’t one shot the boss, and needed to do a 3rd run.
I’m pretty sure many did 3 runs or even more than that.
Energy requirements have sky rocketed compared to the past.
An additional difficulty at EQ, tedious side quests requiring energy and BGs, have increased energy demands by a lot.
Of course, there will always be the arguments:
1. Content is optional and
2. You can farm units for energy refills
but
1. Content is not optional, is a must if you want to preserve a relative to the game’s meta account and
2. units from arena come with a time cost, that has increased by a lot. People don’t have infinite time, a day has only 24hrs, you can’t play arena all of them, unfortunately.
Decent stuff in the lower ones though
Not worth my time and energy for something that adds little value to the game.
Kabam needs to understand what they ask for at leveling and upgrading both Champions and Relics and what they give, 1M gold its nothing nowadays, very big lack of ISO, no alloy or fragments enough to really rank up relics, so those have no value for us, but they still put ONLY relic stuff on rewards.
If they want players trying to do X stuff to get rewards, those rewards must be worth enough to have to either do that stuff many times or spend revives, energy and units on them, if not, players will just skip them, I was doing them yesterday and I thought nah, not worth.
And the game modes that give "enough", because it aint really enough but its something, are quite boring or repetitive or unfunny like AQ or Incursions
Andddddddd they did it again 🤦♂️ clear disconnect between Kabam and its player base. Crazy
I'd prefer it if they went with the rewards structure where you choose between Rank up stuff or Acquisition stuff. It might be more complicated for them to further divide that into Relics and Champs and shepherd more economies, but they get what they get. We didn't ask for Relics.
