Battlegrounds and Latency Issues [merged]

I updated the game. The battlegrounds don t work well, there are connection issue and the symbol of the connection error doesnt go away.

I hate to be *that* guy, but as the game evolves, it will demand a lot more from your phone. Older phones will have more issues, my iphone 12 tends to lag more than my samsung s22.
Gues my iPhone 14 pro max needs upgrading already 😂

Checking in on this today, how is your connectivity and latency looking? I did 6 matches and ran a few last paths of the Vaults between last night and this morning without issue, but don't want to call that indicative of everybody's experiences.

To address the elephant in the room, yes we are looking for Compensation for the Latency issues, geared toward Battlegrounds since match results could be affected by the latency issues.

Any update on the compensation?

Man… just watched 2 streamers quit on this season of BGs due to bugs. Alliances dropped minimum point requirements. Just a sad state of affairs. Such a promising game mode… I’d really love to see the next season postponed for maintenance then another pathetic limp like season 7.

I get the rewards are worth, but I hope people aren't spending to play this mode in this shape? I stopped playing it quite early on and haven't looked back.

Battlegrounds is completely unplayable. Every time I try to start a fight in round one it jumps right into saying I’ve lost connection. Then it cycles the pre-fight run-up and drops again. It does that about 2-3 times before it ends the fight without me being able to even throw an attack. Then hops right to the end screen and shows that I lost. #somuchfun

Compensation is pretty much mandatory for how horrid this game mode has been. We shouldn’t have to keep getting compensation for stuff like this if it was just fixed and not burning through our time and consumables in the process.

1200 tokens ain't worth the stress
Hopefully they give appropriate compensation like they promised as not playing BGs made me miss out a lot of potential 6* shards

I would really love if Kabam took down the mode and put a halt on adding new champions for a couple of months and invested most of their budget in fixing the game
Yeah losing rewards for a couple of months might put a bitter taste in the mouth but if that's the price required to make the game better then it's better that way

The announcement for compensation fall shorts, way short. Kabam clearly told us to stay away from this part of the game

So I did stay away from the game mode, missing the normal progression I would normally get by climbing to Gladiator Circuit. Which I did every season, except one. So compensation should be more than the ressources used during the season and little 5000 token... this is way short of what I would have normally get if we were given bug free, latency free BG.

And no, the latency isn't fix. Open a few crystals and it's back.

Full WiFi, high-speed connection. Not doing anything intensive, merely clearing my low level sig stone inventory. It spins and spins and spins…

I get it that it may *only* be instances of 5, 10, 15 seconds, but it has become that many seconds virtually everywhere.

Add the noticeable lag and frame rate stutters and it’s a mess. Not technically “unplayable,” but I can’t believe this is the product anyone wants to show up on devices.

What’s the plan?
