one of the team leaders at work the other day claimed that she thinks anyone born since 2000 isn't "a real person". She was born in 1996.
After someone else said they were 33, I said I was surrounded by children. I'm 47 in a little over a month and working with 2x 16 year olds, 1x 17 year old, a 28 year old, a 33 year old, a 24 year old, a couple of 22 year olds, a 20 year old and a couple of others in their 20s. Plus one woman a year younger than me and 6 women and 3 men older than me.
It's just not kosher that 33 year old was born when I was in the fourth year of secondary school. Not to mention the 28 year old was born around the time I was doing A-Levels.
Me and the 17 year old wound up the team leader about the "not real" comment today, though, making out she was going to go around telling small children they weren't real.
On that topic, I'm curious, is there anyone else here who used to think in black and white when thinking before the year 2000 and in colour in 2001? Just me?...oh
no 😭 bc life wasn’t black and white. It had color 😭
