I also explained numerous times that I'm in favor of the drop-off at that stage. That's why I point out to them that the competition will become random within the Tier from that point on, and they should keep trying.
There's a difference between being helpful and encouraging, and calling them a bunch of whiners.
I agree; but there is also a big difference between a legit concern and entitlement.
A lower account complaining about facing bigger accounts in the upper tiers, and asking to continue the matchmaking shelter is not a legit concern. Its like its only black and white without all the grey en between. Players like Beroman, Lagacy "oh well they are the best Celestial 1 or 2, but I deserve fair matchmaking" what about all the High end game players in between? People who complain only see their inability to get rewards, not the "place" where they are in the game, and there is no polite way to put them in their place unfortunately.
Who decides that? Arguments could be made for entitlement all around.

Yeah sure, but not understanding that Kabam is limiting your rewards cause the player is a lower progression one, and asking for closer matches for me is very entitled. Specially when you are competing with peoole who are much higher. The logical request would be to ask for better objectives, rewards toward something else or even a parallel lower BG, not to advance all the way.

Nobody wants lower level accounts to have nothing. It doesn't take long to get Paragon these days, it's just unrealistic for lower accounts to expect to progress in BGs when they aren't putting the same work in elsewhere as higher level accounts are/have been. And I'm saying this as someone who was Cav in May.

That's the part you are not understanding, there is an unwritten compromise up to Plat2, if they don't like it open matchmaking to everyone.

First of all, Paragon isn't that easy naturally. Not unless you're running an Alt, or content rushing. Which means their Rosters are underdeveloped.
Secondly, the same complaints were being made when Paragons were stuck in Gold. No one enjoys being stuck in a roadblock.
Where does it end? I've seen Paragons expressing the same concerns and being told "it's a competition". All the way down to Players who are UC.
I've also experienced some very skilled UC, Cavs, and TBs with quite stacked Rosters. So that goes out the door.
In fact, it's literally a matter of having the same overpowered Champs in BGs. Which is entirely boring to me, but still. My experience has shown the same ones over and over.
No one is arguing that Players should forego progress in other areas of the game. You're preaching to the choir. I've been telling people to expand their Rosters and skills a long time. That doesn't mean they don't have a say. They're in the game mode. They have a say, just as much as anyone else.
Unless your solution is to remove them from BGs, which in all honesty good luck with that solution, then they're going to be playing it and providing the feedback that pertains to where they're at. So people might as well move past that fact and stop jumping in to tell them to get over it.
They've even told people specifically they're not arguing for the best Rewards handed to them and it's still brushed off as entitlement. It's disrespectful.

This is just wrong. It took me two weeks to get from Cav to TB, only getting my first rank 3 when I was on 6.3

Then it took 5 weeks between TB and Paragon, where I was able to take 4 more champions to rank 3, totaling 5. I got most of my rank 4 Materials from Act 8, some from other areas. I then took 3 of my rank 3's to rank 4, leaving me with 3 rank 4's and 2 rank 3's. I now have 3 rank 4's, 4 7*s, 9 rank 3's and 30 rank 2's.

This isn't an alt, I took my time and spent at least a month in each progression level. You might consider my roster underdeveloped, but I don't see how there are any downsides to this approach.

And my recommendations would be the exact same to those players. If you're roadblocked, you're not yet meant to get further. It's that simple. Play other modes, take time to practice the nodes, rethink your roster and make rankups where there are gaps, do literally anything except bang your head against the wall and complain about a headache.

I agree with all of this. My argument is just, roadblocks are by design and there's no way to get rid of them without ruining the game mode entirely. If players can learn to take the right approach, I entirely believe it will be an easier experience for us all.

And the preaching to the choir goes out the window when you say you have faced skilled UC, I havent played against a UC since season 1, except for season 9 that they were used to farm event points.

I get what you're trying to say and to a certain extent I agree, when I came back to the game last year I already had access to BGs because I was UC but I had no idea how matchmaking worked, sandbagging was still a thing and when I asked why I was getting matched with whales with half r4 6* and half 2* I received the same level of hostility from a lot of players (mainly from the chatterbox guy but still lol), I wasn't being entitled I just wanted to understand how the whole thing worked. However, in this case, this isn't the first post OP makes about matchmaking. This isn't him asking if matchmaking is working as intended, this is true entitlement. He's made multiple posts complaining about matchmaking and people have already explained to him that unfortunately this is how matchmaking works and it has to work this way to prevent smaller accounts from climbing higher than bigger accounts.

The developer account happens to be lower than mine in prestige, also he faced it in Plat2 which means he didn't play up to GC last season..
Not a 100% sure how this is "unfair matchmaking" and how people were being asshats.

Speak about your own experience and not others, and when people talk about your experience you call them out as if they are belittling you.
Also we got mods that decide if someone is disrespectful or not, not exactly your job, or maybe they are not being disrespectful and that's why they don't intervene and you are making a bigger deal just to justify your passive aggresive rants.
Either way BGs are fine they are as difficult as they should be, and if some day people lose interest on them as you say, the competitive ones will stay and play and that's what a competition is all about.

Honestly if you want to defend the lower player base, ask Kabam to make matchmaking clear.
We all know the match making shelter ends at Plat2; but it was a deduction. They haver never made an official post about it. Why? Cause it would be terrible advertising. It would solve a lot of this threads if they were clear about it; but a terrible idea at the same time.
Imagine how polite it would be for us if we could just point them towards an official post or screenshot one.

75% of the whales/big accs I match dont do the right drafts, dont really know the match ups, either have bad luck and they get hit by input issues or they are just bad, and the ones of those that win, win basically due to HP difference because they have R5 and 7* R2s vs my R4/R3 and 7* R1s.

BGs are summarized in: spend on the game.

look at players within the paragon bracket.
a fresh paragon player with 1 million account rating.
0 r5's
3 r4's
maybe 8 r3's
15 r2's
and 4 x r1s or max 5*
in the deck

this account will be getting exactly same option in the store as someone with
12 r5's and
18 r4's in their deck.
the matchmaking pools would mean these players never face as the 1mil paragon only faces other 1 mil paragon.
which is fine up to plat 2 but you can't have it keep going and allow players like this to climb higher and higher beyond account they cannot beat and take rewards from them.

I coukdnt care about the seeding thing tbh matchamiing was bad before and its still the same has im proved here and there by when u hit plat its no longer a fair game its onsided match ups people like me and other with bearly a mill in team rating going up against rank 5 6* and rank 2 7* paragaon accounts u dont stand w chance at all no one can tell ke im wrong because for the past three seasons when ive hit plat thats it im facing countless accounts that i dont stand a chance against i yeah i do get wins when its a fair match up btw in plat for past three seasons for me i might get two decent and fair match ups out of 60 fight thats not even close to being even all i wish is that u get more fair even match ups becsuse at this rate me and countless other players will NEVER reach glad curcuit
