150k tokens is the limit, but yes it would be the optimal strategy for Paragon players to not spend anymore tokens if they are under the limit until Act 8.4 drops.

Buying 10x of the 5% T6cc for 1210 tokens grants a Paragon player 50% T6cc of varying types for 12100 tokens. If a Paragon player only earns enough to buy 10x each season, then that is 24200 tokens over two seasons. Comparatively, if they wait two seasons to spend (assuming 8.4 drops in April), a similar amount of tokens could be used to get 250% T6cc frags of varying types.

But, that's always been the trade off - using resources you need now, or saving them to use later in the hopes that you can progress without using resources/rank up materials.

Isn't this under the assumption that 8.4 awards x2 r3s though? Or worse yet, under the assumption they have already done a run I'm necro?

I'm paragon and will never touch necro (tbh I'm not that bothered about chasing the next title, I'll just skip content that favours it) but unless there is x2 r3 gems or the ability to earn 2 r3s from 8.4/act 8 in total, this strategy means nothing to me 🤷‍♂️

It will give one r3. Meaning you'll have to get t4a in other ways. But those other ways are already showing up besides necro. WoW gives some each season. Aw will now give some to Plat and above. We got some in a calendar a week ago. The t4a is coming. I suspect we'll see it in eq/sq soon enough as well.

That's fair and little dribs and drabs but I what I was getting at is his strategy is contingent on necro *at this moment in time*. So doesn't work out for paragons as a whole

Come on. Improving the rewards from the solo event won't take you guys one month to do that!

Fact that it didn't took Kabam 1 month to remove farming (actually have to tweak probability numbers, plus the nerf went live week early)

But updating/adding solo rewards (which they do it all the time for new monthly side quests) will take them extra 1-2 months is very very disappointing.

😂 I really hope the feedback about BGs being stale is making it to somebody because while it’s a bit better for Valiant players it also seems like it’s gonna be outta date in a season.

I won't hold my breath for that.
Kabam have managed to ignore and have made it clear quite often times that what's planned will be released. Banquet crystal circus is latest example of that.

This is also a problem in arena, where death matches (something my late-paragon account had mostly grown past) are back in full force. Kabam are choking out all the non-cash ways to build stashes and accrue units.

What sucks is that, even though i pay for sigil and the unit card every month and spend a few hundred/year in offers, i feel like kabam sees me as a mooch at best and a liability at worst. I know for a fact - and they *really* should know as well - that smaller/less spend-y accounts can still grow the bottom line of this game. Over the years i have brought at least 6 friends and acquaintances into mcoc. I know 2 of those are at least dolphins, and one may qualify as a proper whale (not sure what that threshold is but he puts mad cash into this casino). They may never have played if i wasn’t out evangelizing for this game i love.

You don’t have to be a big spender to make a highly social game more profitable.

Let’s be honest. The people who became valiant by exploring Necro have taken a much
more difficult route than people who run one path of Necro and then explore Act 8. Early valiants should receive some benefit from the fact they put in time to 100% Necro instead of hanging around waiting for 8.4 to drop.
