Bullseye Nerf isn't good enough.

This is a r5 ascended Kate vs r4 ascended bullseye, played perfectly and took 2 sp1's to the block and I lose 40% health with an attacker that counters his whole killer instinct and Kabam think that's okay?

All the nerf will do is slightly less bleed damage on dexing basics, so what 3k less damage a match? That's trash, that isn't going to effect the 'too much damage per second' statistic

His primary matchups are still with bleed immunes. This just opens up other champs to take him down with

It doesn't open up the champ pool that couldn't already take him. You're still going to need the specific counters or bleed immunes. The "nerf" did nothing but help maybe 3 champs and ended up buffing him against AA and Warlock

The AA thing was a bug, not a buff. I’m like 99% sure Hulkling and NC will be viable against him now with the nerf to bleeds on dex, Starky can now nuke him when he previously couldn’t, and it also allows you to play a little more slowly without risking bleeds on dexing. Sersi was already a good option for him but she should now be able to stall enough to get her glancing back up and nuke him down too. I think it’s a W. They were never going to tune him down further because he’s supposed to be a hard defender

Yeah I do agree it didn't opened up the options for the fight lmao. But do bullseye really need a nerf, He is little unfair, But lot of players ranked him up already it would be a big blow if kabam nerfs him in a significant way.

How hulkling nd NC can counter bullseye? They need to take atleast one special at block before killing him in most cases. Which deals significant bleed damage. They don't counter evade either.

Honestly though, If anyone manages to skillfully dex the entire sp1 of bullseye, They deserve no bleed damage tbh. His special 1 are extremely hard to dex, there should be a reward for learning that.

Feel happy you got anything, onslaught wasn't touched, photon wasn't touched, serpent probably won't be touched. I have no problem with bullseye I have a solid 10 counters to him.

I wish the bleed on dex didn’t apply to specials as well. Unless you’re MSD with nightcrawler’s extended dex window you’re probably not gonna be full dexing his sp1. What most people do is dex the first and last hits, but still have to take the bleed damage during the flurry of hits. While I haven’t tested it I’m pretty sure it’s more worth it to parry those 2 hits instead of dex, which still seems pretty dumb to me.

It’s still not worth it to even try using non bleed immunes against him, almost nothing will change in most scenarios. I wish they had done something with his killer instinct, maybe allow it to be reduced by ability accuracy if they wanted us to have more options for him. Other than sharky I don’t see anyone new to use for him, and now we’re potentially losing warlock and aa as options. (Yes I know it’s a bug not saying they’re trying to buff him)

Not sure why the dex bleed removal on basics they thought would be good. Most people didnt struggle with this aspect but please tone down the 7* block pen stat focus. This is the reason 7* bullseyes is so awful

And they did not think to make his killer instinct start expiring immediately he reaches a bar of power. If it were a regular attacker the timer would start expiring immediately instead it waits till you take a whole ass special to the block before the timer starts ticking down. This being coupled up with the fact that it's so Long.

You weren't playing right if you took 2 sp1s against bullseye. It is very easy for Kate to push bullseye to sp2 once her coldsnap is on. It is also intended for you to do a combination of parrying and dexing bullseyes sp1 hits to mitigate damage taken. If you remove his bleed from sp1 hits, then he would just be the next NF of being a stall defender if you don't have an evade counter

The killer instinct and bleed damage on dex was never the problem, the problem was that insufferable crit damage on block

But why does a skilled player who can completely dex or completely dex + parry the entire special 1 of bullseye, Which is definitely one of the hardest special animations to dex in the game, should have to be punished?
Bullseye would be a deadly defender even when his sp1 doesn't apply bleed on dex, Since 99% of players probably won't be able to completely dex the special 1.

The thing that still annoys me is the crits on block, they should've removed that on defense when fighting mutants or something.
Sure bleed immunity prevents a ton of damage but it's bs that even with bleed immune you still lose health just from blocking his sp1s:

20% health gone just from blocking sp1s, never got hit or missed a parry. The unavoidable damage is still stupid imo but whatever lol

If Bullseye triggers his sp2 and you dex that with Kate (and take unavoidable bleed damage or unavoidable bleed/crit damage when blocked) would the killer instinct still be there?
