The first Realm Event has come to a close, and with it, we have our first-ever BASTION Summoner out in the Battlerealm.
A huge congratulations to Vern from GT40 for opening 183,602 Crystals... that's (checks notes)... a lot.

I put up 121,335 which included over 50,000 solo crystals. If I had saved every battlechip I've ever earned since the beginning of time and used all of them to buy standard arena crystals and opened them during the event, that would have added approximately 45,000 crystals to my total, putting me seventeen thousand crystals short of Vern. To catch him I would have had to save every gold crystal I ever earned as well, and I opened a ton during when Kabam altered gold odds to verify those. That's an entire career of crystals (at least my career), and probably at least a dozen hours of openings just on solo crystals alone.

I salute you Vern, you're both richer and crazier than I am.

That is an impressive amount of crystals to hoard. It's like Vem never open any crystals from day one. Congrats.

Incidentally, because we know that a player scored exactly 100,001 points, we know that the number of players in the 100k+ club was nine (assuming he didn't open a ton more which I don't think he did, and assuming no one opened exactly 100k and stopped).

So the BIG question; Where did the goal for 1BEEEEEELLION (Pinky to mouth) points come from? Was it just an arbitrary number? And did Kabam auto pop any crystals? If so, how many?
