Were the alliance rank rewards based on alliance participation as well? If so, I didn’t have to push for the points that were aligned with the top rank rewards. Placing the rank rewards in the alliance comp was very misleading. At least to me.
Smashing, super, great; Let's see what you could have won. New milestones added when the events finished, decent ones this time You gave us the "rare" champion selector (put your own descriptive word in place of "rare"),before these rewards, knowing we wouldn't get to these? Correction: were the alliance rank rewards based on “REALM” participation? If so that should’ve been articulated a lot better. Very misleading.
The point structures for the realm and alliance events were the same, so ‘participation’ in both was the same. What is misleading about that?
The point structures were the same for all three events. My point is that the alliance event appeared to be a competition among alliance members. Rewards were awarded based on the strongest alliance. That’s what I was referring to Bob! And you’re absolutely right, this was my first year putting more than $50 into the event, because I was under the impression that alliance event ranking would be different. This will be my last year putting over $100 into a game event.

It's shocking to me how often people come here to complain after they spend money not understanding what they're buying.
I would've love to have access to the 10 unit t6 alpha and t4 basic package that only exclusive players had access to in the mcoc store. I think the decision makers missed the mark on this as it only adds to the narrative that certain groups or members receive access to content others do not have.
It may be a financial success but buying one cristal only for deathulk put you in the top 26-50 % so not huge participation for a celebrating 10 year " grand" banquet. And the realm event should be replaced by a "selected fiew" event
This was my first time hitting the banquet hard... first time in 8 years. Glad it all worked out. Kabam needs to remove the T5CC and the T6CC fragments (make it full crystal) and increase the drop rates for the better items
Now that the event is over I wanted to point out that the community was unhappy with the event but kabam will call this a win and justify what they did was right as they earned more money that ever in this event and SuperBroZ stuck his neck out to pove kabam was right.
I still think that event tickets/tokens purchased through the store should have defined its value immediately and not stating after obtaining the first 10-18 tickets when the event started. I felt cheated from these points, leaving a bad taste in my mouth. KABAM should have “gifted” those points back at the end of the event to give more players access to additional milestones.
Hello. I'm working on a lengthy Banquet post-mortem for all of you, but I'm just going to go ahead and try to head this one off at the pass now.
The reason the Banquet crystal was unbalanced was 100% on me. Our Live Ops team produced a perfectly balanced tuning for the crystal in which this wouldn't have been a problem. In reviewing it, I counted all T6B/T3A drops as filler, and in an effort to reduce the amount of filler I moved some of those drops to other resources. For most players this wasn't a problem. I personally put up around 100,000 points and finished ~1500th, and for me the imbalance wasn't perceptible.
However in monitoring the event over the break, we realized players at the top were going to put up more points than we expected, and for them it was going to become a real problem. So we did something quick and dirty to help them correct the imbalance. If I could go back in time to before the event I would have thought of something else, but I'm pretty sure players wouldn't have liked the Banquet event more if it had included more T6B/T3A in the crystals.
I personally don't see this as a fairness problem, as I can tell you the difference between my account and these accounts has nothing to do with T6B/T3A. And I don't see it as these players getting to buy T6B/T3A for 10 Units, I see them as getting to buy T6B/T3A for 750,000 Units + 10 Units, which is what somebody had to spend to unlock this offer.

He s still out of touch, completely. No, the problem wasn't t6/t3, we got plenty of those. The problem was having too little 7* and titan shards in non filler %, and that made them also fillers. Plus the t7 shards was also, FILLER.
