The game experienced a brief connectivity issue this morning. The team promptly fixed the issue and things are back to normal, thank you to everyone who passed along reports!
How much do I have to pay to remove the negative credit units?

I joined a bank account with my mother, and I spent over $200 on something in a game. When my mom found out, she got really upset and called the bank to stop the transactions I made. As a result, I now have negative credit units (-22,997) on my game account. I just opened a new personal bank account and I want to pay back the amount to remove the negative credit, but the process isn't explained clearly and I don’t know how much I need to pay. Can someone please help me?

While I don't how far you have progressed in the game, my personal advice would to be to create a new account and start fresh and save your money.
With whatever experience you gained from playing, you will make good progress much faster than last time.
Best only to spend money on video game when you have excess money (i.e. you don't need that money for anything important in real life).
Good luck

The more details you provide the better advice you will get
Just buy contest credit to get a positive amount excess amount will be converted to units
There's nothing money can't do in a mobile game
You can't earn unit in game or use unit in game until you pay back your unit debt
You can still play though

UNless of course you have no money and was using mum's credit card then you just have to suck it up.
In general, contest credits are not the same thing as negative units. Contrary to what some have said in this thread, you don’t neutralize 22997 contest credits by buying 22997 units. In fact, you can’t buy units at all. It’s always been the case that about $100 in refunds convert to about 10000 contest credits, it’s just $99.99 for 9999 due to how in-app stores tend to price things.
22997 contest credits in this case is representing 229.97 USD in refunds, which corresponds to the about $230 USD the OP claims they got refunded. However, one complicating factor is the game does not allow you to buy any arbitrary amount of contest credits. You’re required to buy them in whatever offer sizes are in the store. So you might have to buy more than necessary to neutralize the negative contest credits. If you do, excess above that necessary to neutralize your negative contest credits balance get converted to normal units at an exchange rate comparable to the ratio between units and contest credits. I.e. $99.99 buys 9999 contest credits and 3100 units, so I believe excess contest credits are exchanged for units at a rate of about 31 units per 100 contest credits. I don’t recall the precise ratio.
You will need to buy $300 worth of credits to become positive again
The tweak that would be even fairer is to break those contest credits options into 499, 999. 2999, 4999, and 9999 options so you don't have to spend $70 more than what you originally spent. Yeah, they are converted to units, but if you had a budget of $230 on the original purchase, you'd have to scrape together the extra money. It becomes more of a punishment and Kabam gets more money than the purchaser originally intended.
