The game experienced a brief connectivity issue this morning. The team promptly fixed the issue and things are back to normal, thank you to everyone who passed along reports!

Wow... dunno about y'all but reading the official answers to this thread I really felt done dirty lol

I mean, the hammering down of the old "it's not for everyone / you don't have to do it if you don't want to" hardly ever goes down well but this time I really can't help feeling like this was done for a small group of friends sort of thing.

It's not like we didn't just have a massive event where the top of the top got the best of everything - which I'm not against, to be clear. If you wanna invest a house morgage on this game be my guest and be rewarded accordingly. I just wish that I had enjoyed the Banquet for the humble amount I put in, which I did not for the first time in all the end of year events I've taken part in.

So I guess that some crumbs would've been appreciated to gain back some love atm. Not this.

Maybe consider the larger part of the playerbase outside the whales and the sweatyboys is what I'm saying...

    Ps. Edit.
And I did pass on it exactly like it wasn't for me. Did I shake my head at it? Oh yes! Then I moved on. But it's actually reading the replies here that grated me and you really get why the disconnect is there.

So its a bad deal for you to trade 1 6* AG for 1 7* sig stone; but it is a good deal for someone who has 50+ 6* AG for 50+ 7* sig stones?... Sorry I might be wrong; but I believe its equally as bad for both... So if you care to explain how it is good for a small group...

Honestly the awakening gem should have been converted to similar currency of awakening gem of 7 star. Should have been shards of 7 star awakening gem. The amount could be decided accordingly. Could be 500 or even 250 or even less that in kabams mind isn’t game breaking. Someone who has 50 gems is surely a good decent whale. I myself have spent quite decently on game and I’m having 34 generic awakening gems. Someone who’s having 50+ gems who’s been spending very good could be given a chance to get 1 awakening gem of 7 star for all the spending they been doing for years. Don’t see anything game breaking in that. Could be like 200 or 250 shards. Also it’s really unusual to change gem into stone.

You're right. It's equally bad on paper for both.

And I don't have to explain it, Crash already did. Basically they have so much to spare that it means nothing to them right? So the rest of us we should avert our eyes - that's what's in bad taste for me. Coz 50 (or hundreds as it were) sigs on a 7* ain't bad at all is it? I bet no Valiants would sneeze at that bump up on any of our champs.

And I repeat I don't mind the hardest players (or spenders) being catered to - accordingly- but not specifically and solely. If they're judging it would've been too much for a few to be given a certain number of sigs in the end then don't put the deal out and let their stuff expire like the inventory ticking clock meant it to 🤷‍♀️

6* AG don't have a stack limit or expire....

Hello. There are players with hundreds of these and no 6-stars to awaken. I have around 50 I think and nothing to do with them. I will absolutely be trading them in.

I'm sure most of you want more, but nobody is forcing you to do this. If you value the 6-star gems more just keep them.

Sorry but here's no way someone has "hundreds" of AGs. Even the biggest whales wouldn't be accumulating that many from the limited sources that provide them. I understand your position, but exaggerating to try to make your point hurts your credibility. It also makes you appear out of touch; even if a small handful of players somehow accumulated a significant number of 6* AGs, the vast majority of players do not. Maybe they have 10-20, or even 30, but they still don't have enough to make this trade-in a good value.

All we want is for these rewards to mean something. The fact that they're valued so low just makes the events to which they're attached seem equally meaningless.

Time and again your AG economy has shown to be unbalanced. It's a tale of two undesirable extremes: either we can't get an AG of a specific rarity when we need one, or we have so many AGs by the time we don't need any. It happened with 5* before 6*, and now as 7* AGs become a thing, you're repeating the same mistake. Break the cycle and make 7* AGs available in time for us to actually use them.
the last paragraph is so real. When you needed one you'd never find it, and when you move on from the rarity you have 10+

Given that 6* awakening gems are pretty useless these days, can we stop seeing them at the top monthly prize in content and hate them to Thronebreaker / paragons level. Surely this shows that the top end economy really needs revisiting. Even the most recent buffed rewards feel out of date now.

The problem isn't the rewards, the problem is that we don't have monthly content for Valiant players. If we had a monthly Valiant EQ and/or a monthly Valiant MQ, they would have Valiant rewards, but those don't exist. I don't think giving Valiant rewards for TB content is the solution.

I agree this is a very big problem, it's very close to the top of my list of things we need to address this year.
What do you mean by MQ?
