Claire is one of the few mystics with immunities and it’s triple. Amazing nullify and pretty good damage as well as some power control. Isn’t really neutered in non buff matchups too much and has arguably the best regen in the game. So she’s number 2 for me
Symbiote Supreme is probably the best nullifier in game and has an arsenal of utility and damage. While the opponent has buffs. If they don’t he’s neutered entirely and bleed immunity also hurts his damage significantly. Comes in at number 3 for me but it’s fairly close between the top 3

- does energy damage on mediums and heavy!
- does poison
- nulifys
- power gain
- gains stun immunity
- poison resistant and bonus attack increase!
- unique playstyle
- even poisons him self!
- oh and yet WORST champ in class and probably entire the game
As someone with all 3 maxed I can assure you that the least played and least useful out of the 3 is sym supreme. Still amazed how ppl can vote for such a niche champ but there are fanboys for quite a few old gods

I would have to sit down and really look at some things but that kit was an absolute no-doubt 5/65 for me maybe 20 minutes after I pulled it
Guess what? It's non buff champs so Spawn is still far more niche than Doom and even most mystics. Even then, Doom still has normal.power gain and has power steal on top while sym takes a year and a half to get to sp3 without buffs/MD
SS is the strongest mystic but as many have already said he is a niche champion
Imo symb isnt really a 'niche' champ, he just excels in fights with a lot of buffs. He does well in really any fight that isn't against a Bleed immune, buffs or no. Granted, it will be a lot slower unlocking his damage in a fight with not many buffs, but he doesn't rely on them in my experience. Against (most) Bleed immunes he is very limited tho, unless they gain a lot of buffs via ability or node. But this is why you get multiple champs in a team, bring other champs to handle those fights and let symb do his thing when he's needed..
However doom does have more reliable power control and a more sustainable damage output generally speaking. And while symb excels in buff heavy matchups, Doom doesn't care about that and just does his thing regularly.
Imo symb and doom #1 and #2 in the mystic class (either one can be considered 1 or 2) with BWCV and voodoo coming in at a close #3 and #4, respectively. All are still pretty useful in their own way.
