I had planned on stopping my current revive farming for 6.4 but now I see no point now. Act 5 rewards seemed impressive at the time. This doesn't give the same impression.
1. To much focus on 5* in the exploration and completion rewards. People completing this content are looking to 6* at this time. R2 6* crystal gems should be a thing here and they aren’t. It seems we are stuck here where 6* are a crawl to get by design Throttling the game for the non whales/extreme grinders and there is little reason to sink material into 5* outside of war defense as with The right 5-11 r5 champ you pretty much have what you need to Cover the span of content.
2. To much RNG in the rewards. The odds of leaving this content with no improvement to your roster in the form of r3 6* due to wrong 6* champ pulls +wrong awakening gem + wrong class catalyst is way too high. Should have been something specific or generic or a selector in regards to the catalyst or the awakening gem.
There is a good chance you leave this with no 6* champ worthy of the catalyst you get and needing to pull that class champ twice also to be worthy. That means months more until first r3 potentially if you are lucky on pulls going forward for many people who will be doing this.
3. Again why no monthly difficulty and rewards increase. This is absurd and becoming a major frustration point. Hearing this year at some point but no time table in the dorky interview was demoralizing for me because it’s just become a crawl to progress. Being uncollected since it came out and doing this now still is a joke. It’s been over 2 years. This content is 3-4x the uncollected. Why can’t we just have something harder that gives us adequate rewards to our level, skill, and time spent playing this game. And in order to be able to use the rewards we need increased chances to acquire champs/materials of relevant scale.
Overall I don’t think they are bad or off completely. We just seem stuck on opening up the ability for committed high skill players to progress to another point. The 6* throttle needs to start being opened outside of P2W. It’s just obvious that there is a very high liklihood myself and a lot of other players grind this out and leave with a bunch of cats and gems we can’t use or won’t be able to use on anyone worthy for months. The 5* rosters are already fleshed out enough and the 6* rosters aren’t growing fast enough to have champs there worth ranking.
Other point on the 5* r5 gems. Last thing I want to do these days is r5 5* that aren’t really worth my teams. This is because even if they are good champs I then will never rank them as 6* because already got them at r5 in 5* variety. I know the slow flow of t5cc means they’ll never be r3 likely due to rate of champ introduction so they are useless by default. This then further degrades the already cruddy 6* pool to about 5-10% of the champs that would even be considered a good pull for the foreseeable future(1year out at least).
This is starting to kill the fun/excitement rng feedback loop of this game and that all loot based games have that makes crystal opening enjoyable. When the majority of the pool goes right to the “I have no use for this champ bench” you don’t get any of the excitement from the crystals anymore.
No T5cc or class AG for initial completion...
There is only a 6* class AG and a random T5CC for exploration !
This is NOT matching our expectations, nor the difficulty of this.
A single path in the abyss gives more than this, and you saw that everyone with an Aegon can do it whereas they won’t be able to do act 6 !
Take a look at the act5 rewards, compare them to act6 rewards in global... the difficulty wasn’t high for act5 and we were rewarded better than in act6 where difficulty is way more higher !
For the 6.3 rewards, it was « meh » but we didn’t expect more.
For 6.4 and act6 in global, it’s really disappointing, for the T5CC, the rank up gems and the awakening gem.
Not a single positive feedback, just negative ones.
It’s high time to reconsider this game economy.
At completion level a 50% T5CC crystal should have been on offer as a minimum, frankly a full crystal, with either a selector or multiple fully formed crystals for exploration.
There certainly should have been an Awakening Gem for completion, and if not I find it inexcusable that there isn't a generic for the exploration, certainly when we compare this to Abyss rewards.
Depending on how silly the Grandmaster is to fight in order for me to get 3 T5CC, a generic and crystal gem I could just fight the collector 5 times and my only real hard requirement - other than a deep wallet - there is having an Aegon, vs. having the counters for highly specific and stacked paths across 192 paths worth of content (60, 60, 36, 36) + the gates.
On the 5* vs 6* argument. My next R5s are going to be pretty pedestrian because I need to use the resources up or I'm going to be going into overflow, especially when I complete Act 6. I'm going to be blowing nigh on 1m gold on champions that I'm going to rarely use, or who are synergy pieces/just look cool simply so I don't end up leaving resources to rot.
I think if there was more focus on 6* resources you would have hit the mark better like 6* sig stones, 6* r1 to r2 rank up gem generic or class based, 1 6* ag class based for completion, and 1 6* ag generic for exploration.
I will applaud you on the amount of 6* shards, t2a, and t5b.
Many of my team have completed/explored all of Act 6 that is available right now, but they are also aware that we spread the rewards out for all of the Act Completion and Exploration.
This game is built on Randomness, and always has been. If you do not feel that the rewards worth your effort, you can come back and do this content at your Leisure at another time, but I implore you to look back at all of the rewards of Act 6 together, and not just what you'd get right now.
And we implore you to bring the emphasis back on the Act exploration, not individual chapters.
Making that change above does not break the game in any measure.
