**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.
There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.

Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

How do I find out what my original player name was?

So I need to find out what my original playername is for my support ticket but I have no idea how to find that. I made my account around 5 years ago but left after like a week of playing, I came back a little less than 2 years ago and changed my name to “Dark Eternity”. It’s not like I ever thought I would need my original playername, so does anyone know how to solve this?

I don't know if there is a solution. They ask for your original player name as a security measure to ensure they are dealing with the actual owner of the account. Because of that, they do not really provide a way to find that information.

Did you ever take a screenshot of your gameplay? If so, it might be in one of those.

If you don't have a record, Kabam won't tell you and the game won't tell you, for the reasons @Solswerd mentions.

I think it's because some people buy accounts, in which case they would have no way of knowing what the original name was.

Agreed. I spent an entire evening exchanging emails with support guessing questions and trawling through purchases. There really must be a better way.

@LeNoirFaineant Nope! But I was able to get the issue resolved by giving them my current username.
  • Glad you could get the help you needed, I'll close the thread now that the matter is resolved.
