Bought the some offers cause I needed the units but honestly it’s been really really disappointed in this cyber weekend deals. They’re like almost exactly like 4th July but worse, definitely not worth buying them, would really consider a refund if I didn’t really need the units.
@GroundedWisdom genuinely interested to hear what you think but correct me if I'm wrong.. you're not cav yet?
I am. The Deals are pretty bomb considering what you get for what you spend. Not sure why people are comparing them to July 4th. Two different ball games. What I think the real issue is, is that people expected them to get them to Thronebreaker, and that was an assumption.
This would be a part of why people expected that. The language is more than just suggestive of that notion.
It’s fine that TB get sweet deals. But it’s totally not fine that the team decides to dump on other progression tiers. Progression titles in game have always seemed ad hoc, uneven and in some respects, self-serving, and this type of offer stratification reinforces that idea.

The Email said THIS is your chance. As in do it in time for the Sale. Which is why that was sent out before it dropped. Why can we always predict that people are going to complain about these things? It's not because we assume they will. It's because people put in double-time developing all kinds of expectations. Expectations inevitably lead to disappointment. Assuming they would include the means to hit Thronebreaker was just an assumption. Let's detach and look at it logically. Let's say they do include it. Then we have a large pocket of people who are at Thronebreaker, and much sooner down the road, we need another progression separator. Look at the availability of T5CCs. They're not going to open the flood gates all in one day. That's insanity, at the very least from a design standpoint.
Do you ever give it up? No one agrees with you ever
This is one day people save all year for - and giving cav players the tb deals is justifiable Especially since if they didn’t push tb through the cav players would have these deals
I don't look for people to agree with me. I express my thoughts. As for your last statement, no. That's not justifiable. What's the sense of having another Title if Cavs get everything included?
As much a Kabam loves making money (debatable after what I've seen), Kabam was well aware about 'double-dipping'. They were afraid of the backlash that they would receive from the already Thronebreaker players if they offered great Cavalier deals that after being swallowed up would allow the Cavalier players to upgrade to Thronebreaker and then get an even better slate of offers. So what did they do? They made it borderline impossible for someone who needed something from the Cavalier bundles in order to become Thronebreaker to actually get it. Loads and loads of 5 star resources to grab but very little for 6 stars. The lack of T5CC is one thing but the utter lack of T5B and it being replaced with 5 star rank-up gems shows how deliberate this was. On July 4th we got a choice of how we wanted to spend our units to help us progress. This was taken from us today. Kabam has made it very clear that for most of us, your first T5CC will come in 2022. They are very much still locked behind the paywall.
Sure. Maybe they did this to not make newly TB upset but as long as they differ the offers so that TB are better it should have been safe. Like if cave have a 15% t5c crystal TB has a 25% selector or so.
So You all are telling me that Kabam thinks I'm at the same level of who actually has beaten Sentinel on first chapter, right? I got the wrong catalysts, RNG with fragments was so bad against me, so I cannot have a r3. I'm.Breaker of thrones, but I have Cavalier Title. Nice.
While i have R3 worthy candidates in 4/6 classes, which mutant would you use your rare T5CC on in order to have a R3, bishop, nightcrawler, or DPX. So hard to choose between such great options right.
I'm extremely disappointed in this years Cyber deals, especially for Cavalier. Think about all the players who've lost their jobs, or forced to struggle due to the ongoing pandemic that's effected so many this entire year thus far. 2020 has been a difficult year for many all over the world, so I offer the following analogy. Players are like children during Christmas time, awaiting Santa's arrival as visions of sugar plums dance in our heads, anxious and excited for Christmas morning to arrive for these deals. Only to wake up and rise to discover that no matter how good, nice, and loyal they were all year long, to discover that Santa left them only a lump of coal and a note that says "sorry about your bad luck this year kid, try again next year."
After 4th of July I was impressed, they divided up the rewards in a thoughtful way. I am chosing to not chase T5CC, so I loved the ability to chose the options. Now this? C'mon now and get this sorted quick.
I am 25% short of T5CC from becoming a Thronebreaker. There are not T5CC selector offers for me to achieve this. Looking at the Thronebreaker deals, I just don't want to waste my money on the Cavalier offers, seriously. Worst Cyber Monday experience for me ever!

In this scenario, the Thronebreaker deal don't actually matter a lot. All it needs is Cavalier deals that are still good enough for Thronebreakers to make them want to have the option to purchase them too. Then they would feel upset that they didn't get the option to 'double-dip'. Kabam has chosen, in my eyes and many others as well, to shaft Cavalier players and cater to their new fancy title, which in all fairness, is far from unexpected. When I was Uncollected and saw the first Cavalier deal, I knew immediately that I was never buying another offer directed to the Uncollected level. I was expecting more of the same today but was at least still expecting resources to be included that would help bring me towards the next progression level.

If things you say never get good response, maybe it’s you
And there was no reason to make TB prior to these deals releasing It was a pointless addition that has now annoyed 80% of players

Thronebreaker was already supposed to be in the works in Act 7, and things changed with that. So did the Title.
When even some1 like Brian Grant doesn’t get the unit based offers, is upset about the cavalier offers and actually voices his concern, you just know they frakked up big time.
Cav status is no longer relevant in the eyes of the @Kabam Miike--god... Y should they want cav players to advance when there r more players in the game who are below cav status than above... It's bs to the players on the cusps of greatness but only another dollar sign for @Kabam Miike and those who want us, those who have spent a pretty penny, to swallow the jagged little pill and keep tapping on our devices...

First: You apparently look at the email as if it were a PSA. I look at it as if it were a promo piece intended to stoke demand for in-game stuff during one of the game’s biggest revenue events.
There was an entire thread surrounding this particular email and how the offers would be stratified. The team knew there was concern about the offers in general (because there always is around BF offers), and there was ample opportunity for any member of the team to make the points you are making prior to Black Friday. They didn’t, to my knowledge.
Second: This is a for-profit phone game, not the Olympics. I’m tired of people talking about titles as if they are sacrosanct or involve some sort of act by the Papacy. They are not and they do not. I would guess that progression titles were more or less ginned up to sell more stuff—stuff that gets sold everywhere anyway. Just last week, they sold 10% T5c selectors for $50 with a limit of 2. Anyone who has completed Act 6 and done all the Cavalier EQ content (but not Abyss) and has had even marginal luck is close to a single T5c and could have used one or more of those deals—without ever buying any other T5c deals—to form a full T5c. If you bought every single T5c selector offer, I suspect you might even be to form a full T5c without even doing any Cav EQ content or Abyss. With that in mind, it is hard for me to see how the TB/R3 requirement is anything more than arbitrary.
Third: I had low to no expectations. And still I was disappointed. That’s quite an accomplishment.

Think you might be misinterpreting this. The paragraph starts with the email stating when Cyber Weekend starts. Therefore, if we carry on the text we get to the ‘this is your chance.’ By any logical reasons this would be inferred as the aforementioned Cyber Weekend is a player’s chance to get to the next progression title. That is not the case as seen. Of course I’m disappointed. I mean, I wasn’t expecting to get TB because I only got Cav about 3/4 weeks ago but I was hoping for some more T5B. Only 1? Ridiculous.
I completed Act 6 last night and hoping that I could advance to TB after this cyber weekend after buying deals that could offer T5CC selector....
However, the T5CC selectors are only available in TB-tier offer (but they’re TB already! Hey!), which made me don’t even have a motivation to buy any of those in Cavalier-tier offer

Geez Kabam, but this is beyond sad.
Now this?
C'mon now and get this sorted quick.
If you don’t like, don’t buy. You’re out nothing. The game has continued throughout the pandemic, and owes us nothing for a common experience.
And there was no reason to make TB prior to these deals releasing

Sad
I myself spent several hundred
Today none of use (even the TBs) aren’t buying anything
Some bs.
Thanks for using **** @Kabam Miike
