    I think I am missing something couldnt stack those armor breaks
    how to use MASH ability?
    i turned on the refight for one and didnt for once and didnt make a difference so I am prolly doing something wrong

    The mash armor breaks exceed the cap
    To mash, just spam the the left side of the screen (blocking animation) during special attacks, heavy attacks, before the fight starts, and parry.
    The prefight makes it so that you don't actually have to manually mash yourself, but it's slightly less effective than you do the mashing yourself.
    there is no counter on the screen though right? i only see the green thing light up at times
    When the green thing lights up that's when u mash

    Hes def got things going for him. Top 5 tech? Just no. They still went the wrong route on this one taking away utility

    His “utility” was pretty unreliable before. That said, Howard still doesnt have much in the utility department.
    Yes. So fix that and increase the ramp up. There wasnt a need to do this. I see people disagreeing and thats fine. But i have a feeling not many touched him before this anyway. Swede explaines it best in his post

    Could you explain how to use his MASH ability? Struggling a bit over here.

    You spam during special attacks to gain bonuses (extra heal blocks and suppression debuffs)
    You spam during heavy attacks to gain more armor breaks
    You spam before the fight starts to gain more armor ups
    You spam during parry to gain furies
    i think i am absorbing all this info quite well now lol

    I dont get where ur seeing utility suppression isnt better than powerlock healblock only useful for regen only where as 24% reduced stats actually was utility hes less utility than now but raw damage

    Question: as soon as my special starts and i pause and hit the block for an hour or so would howard kill war 500k bosses in one sp2? xD

    I don't think he ramps up his mash during pause lol

    i am prolly still not uesd to be able to draw out the max damage possible but this was fun easy to get to
    you cant expect for him to have 100furies and hit harder than even this in such a short time

    accept the a bit of damage nerf and enjoy the quick damage which is still great

    Swedeah showed gameplay in labyrinth because that was the only place where Howard was semi-useful pre buff. And he required a full synergy team. There's a reason there was no Howard gameplay in Act 6. Now Howard will be able to be used in so many places.
    Again. I dont disagree with you on most of it. Where we differ is how the buff should have been done. I 100% agree he needed a buff. I dont agree that he needed an overhaul tho. He had very solid things they could make more reliable and its truly all he needed. And i dont hate his new buff. Will i personally ever get use of him like this tho? Absolutely nope

    He was so much fun to play now comparing to auto MASH I love this manual MASH which is easy to ramp up

    My only dissappoint is suppression is too short and i thought i can get 8-9, turn out 4-5.
    Other than that i love him, can't wait to get his 6* and r3 him.

    I have played only limited time with the new HTD. I like the unique playstyle. It will take some getting used to. As time goes by, people may prefer the auto mash over the manual one since I sometimes found myself trying to get 1 more fury and getting hit. But, overall, a very solid buff with some great utility. He counters Havok, Domino immediately after awakening and at sig 102, you can safely block apoc at 4 charges without getting stunned(incoming debuffs suffer -0.81 seconds at sig 102). He is going to be insane for the cavalier eq for both the sets of nodes that we currently have for tech.

    Some things interesting to test. His "Not so uncanny" synergy says he gains 10% special attack damage for each prowess effect removed. Would that work well against Aggression: Prowess nodes? let the defender build 50 prowess, knock them down and launch a special attack with 500% additional attack? If we can knock down apoc we can steal his prowess since he 3 prowess on a boss node at the start of the fight.

    As it is, I like the buff, if you have a 6 star version, he seems very fun to clear content. I am not sure about the damage since I don't know his ideal rotation yet. But, it is a successful buff on par with Kingpin.
    Wish they had kept the regen though.

    Do his abilities make him any more difficult as a defender? I have a few paths to complete with HtD on it, and am debating whether I need to finish them before updating or not.

    Without that pesky little shock that he places on you at 30% and 60% , it should actually make it easier now. Don't use a mutant since he reduces debuff duration and your parries will end quicker.
