**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.

There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.
Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

Irregardless of RNG or not, the fact that the difficulty (albeit not hugely high) is way too high for anyone that needs 1/4 of a t4b or 3/4 of a t1a. That sh should be reserved for heroic and such.
(Only kidding...you don't have to show me to the door....I'll leave....)
2. The reason why a quest is separated into legendary, master ...etc because of different difficulty level, and thus rewards. You run Abyss and you will got the SAME rewards as I do. RNG only happens in the crystal pull, not the path rewards. If you run a Variant but end up with gold and sig stone but I finished a Variant with T5b and T2a. Would you still play Variant?
3. Statistic. I don’t really know how can some players be so confident to justify the random behaviour of RNG without even knowing the actual formula or algorithm behind. It’s a black box. I can’t find any way to justify it honestly. Apparently even you finished the entire SQ, it’s just 28x8 fights including boss. Maybe you can really test your null hypothesis and check whether it is statistically significant afterwards, but you have little ground to argue too when others face uneven distributions now.
4. Final subjective comment. I think RNG rewards for an event which have already separated into different difficulty, is not a good idea. Even some players may only focus on objective rewards such as T5cc shards and 5* AG, the ending maybe some having many 6* shards while some only got gold. I don’t have empirical evidences to justify the fairness, but apparently the RNG results are tilted.
The 20% accumulated T5CC is the only saving grace.
The most I've gotten from this side quest is 2k 5* shards and 300 6* shards.
Personally I don't mind rng. I liked the rifts and was really lucky in it. However this side quest rewards doesn't feel rewarding for the difficulty. I grit my teeth every time I have to do it, wondering what random nodes they will mix with random defenders and I've never enjoyed a single run. random rewards are fine, random bosses are fine, one or two random defenders are also fine. But the mixture of random defenders, bosses, rewards and nodes plus the restriction to 3 attackers makes this sq just irritating, If they had left it at 5 attackers, I wouldn't mind since there is a bigger safety net in case you mess up.
For this quest, you need an evade counter, an armour break champ and ideally, either a power control, AAR or unstoppable counter else you will get wrecked. Unless you're lucky that one person in your roster fulfils at least 2 of these requirements, it's not going to be fun.
TL;DR I hate it and can't wait for it to be over.
