You can see it happening to all the content creators during their diablo test videos. It's clearly very broken and Summer of Pain will have to be delayed as a lot of people waited for diablo buff to finish this week.
Can confirm. I thought my screen was just dirty at first, then after a solid cleaning of both my screen and my hands did I realize that something was broken. Wasted 5 duel credits when testing out Bishop due to dropped dexes and parries.
I also was randomly having parries not register. Normal timing was too late, got hit in the face again and again. iPhone XR, never have performance issues.
Was in the middle of a path that I'd already spent a bunch of units on and had to back out. I guess by this point I should know not to be in the middle of something important when I update, as there's a decent shot a core game mechanic breaks with each new release 🙄
Having the same issue during incursion, right after update. Wasted units for heals only to lose health the following matches. Using iPhone X max iOS 14.6
It's more noticable when you're in mid range and do short combos dash back then parry, its like the short range medium attack is faster or the block animation is delayed. The feeling is different from far dashes / cross screen medium attacks.
I was finishing the side quest on epic in the last map. Took a 6* r1 Cable with Apocalypse synergy against Champion. Initial parry was fine, then four parries in a row didn’t register when trying to parry dash attacks. Thought the first time was my fault, then on the second I realised it wasn’t. Did the third and fourth to confirm.
This has been reported a lot in my alliance, and we’re tier 2 in war, so we at least like to think we can block alright usually.
The timing changed. In particular the trigger window was shortened. So if you are used to trigger parry quite shortly before getting hit it now is already too late. This changes the feeling of a fight completly.
Anyone attempted the Parry Tutorial with the Issue? It'd be Ironic if the very next Update after the Tutorial is added the whole system then changes...

Personally I think it’s far more fundamental than just parry. It feels like the characters are slow to react to all attacks, so parry reaction of your champ is slower. Dexing specials where the defender has multiple hits (tigra, Bwdo, carnage etc.) just feels sluggish. If you back away and tap to block multiple times you can see that the reaction time seems delayed. Parry is the main tactic for defence and requires precision timing, that is why it feels isolated to the parry function.

1. Can’t really comment on if it is an early parry or a late parry, I guess both? And parries from a distance when they’d dash were probably the most fluctuated for me 2. Every single time I’d get struck. Not into block. Just a flat out hit. was in act 7.2 and got knocked out 🥲 3. This one is a difficult one to answer. Occasionally. Sometimes (I was using colossus for example) I’d hold block and colossus would block, but then if I went for a parry, he just wouldn’t block. But sometimes he does block when I wanna go for a parry and then it looks like the opponent is unblockable or something. The problem is that it’s really inconsistent so it’s hard for me to exactly define what triggers it, or what the exact details are. 4. First time parry. Most of my reparry attempts landed, at least the ones that I would’ve gotten last update.

3. This one is a difficult one to answer. Occasionally. Sometimes (I was using colossus for example) I’d hold block and colossus would block, but then if I went for a parry, he just wouldn’t block. But sometimes he does block when I wanna go for a parry and then it looks like the opponent is unblockable or something. The problem is that it’s really inconsistent so it’s hard for me to exactly define what triggers it, or what the exact details are.
4. First time parry. Most of my reparry attempts landed, at least the ones that I would’ve gotten last update.
