How do I close / delete this chat? I didn't make this to bash BG, and I don't like some of these comments. BG is the reason I stayed playing for so many years. While I think being F2P and being an end game player are not possible long term, he has done it longer than anyone I have seen. He seems like a great guy who makes great content. I will stay subscribed to his channel till the end.
You can try to see if any mods are on and send them a message. It is a holiday and weekend though so may not be able to
This is the "we are going to go ahead and let you resign before we fire you" routine. The YouTuber makes a vid saying hes quitting for whatever reason and gets to save face. The dudes alliance doesn't look like they value prizes over people. It should really be in an HR text book for how to handle an organization having to get rid of someone but no one looks to be the bad guy.
That’s not what happened at all lol
Everything he said was 100% genuine & honest.
It really is funny how many people talk so much about things they know absolutely nothing about.
When I saw his first video (I haven't watched the subsequent ones if there are any), I had mixed feelings. I knew it was something more than merely not being able to keep up with spenders. He was making a lot of good points but I couldn't quite place my finger on the problem.
Then I watched KT1's recent videos and he helped clarify what I think is the crux of the issue. I haven't sifted through all the comments here but it doesn't seem like anyone is actually addressing the underlying problem. Most people are just talking about r4s, spending vs. ftp, GGC event, etc. The question/problem essentially is:
Is MCOC a game or an online/digital/virtual wallet?
From that standpoint, I think Brian Grant's concerns are very relevant for a lot of us, especially those who would like to see this game continue to thrive in the months or years to come. Are the recent decisions on reward distribution/availability a sign toward upcoming trends?
If so, then Brian Grant will be a forerunner; many people will eventually follow his example.
If not, then I would hate it for people to think that Brian Grant overreacted. If anything, the significance of his actions might be one of the factors that influence Kabam to make better decisions going forward. Sometimes, you need to overreact or overcommunicate in order for someone finally to hear you or take your concerns seriously.

Hey now, the last thing we need is actual information from someone who would actually know. How are we supposed to come up with nutty, Ill informed gossip?
