Section 2 path 2. They put a Mojo in there. I have to constantly parry him and knock him down to disable Protection. Day 2 and all Mojo has done is dare me to do that. So I either do it and degen. Or don't and time out coz I can't outdamage him in time.
I would never mind this combination in a path somewhere else. But not on daily content I have to go thru 5 times a week. For as many times as this map version pops up.
The other maps are full of silly interactions like that as well. I got to the conclusion the person (s) who green lighted this stuff hate the map 6 - and 5 - playerbase.
Just like in phase 3 there is a dragonman who becomes stun immune after throwing a special. Kind of a pain since you can't remove his power gain while stun immune so you have to just bait the specials. Of course I'm able to bring a counter for the fight(void) so it's not that bad, but if rng was really against me it could be.
Oh and they finally admit Class gates are a terrible idea for story mode.
And yet here we have them on daily team mode...
I noticed that as well. It’s like they took some of the bad features from act 6 and put them into Map 6, then added the newer defenders to make it more difficult. Their thought process seems have the completely opposite intentions. Maybe different design teams.
Guys, help! I had a discussion about the difference between map5+modifier and map6 without modifier. Some guys told me map5+ modifier has more points than map6 without any modifier. Is that true? Is about getting to a Milestone amd get more rewards.
I’m getting tired of fighting Mordo with the passive AI….refuses to throw special attack, then powergains, then instantly throws a special 3.
I also think that Kabam is hoping we will just give up and then assume that there aren’t any problems because no one is saying anything.
Based on my alliance’s rankings, the result of these changes is people stepping back instead of stepping up. It’s weird they don’t see that as a problem.
Day 5 of another series with these terrible changes, and 1 more player says he's quitting the alli because he can no longer afford map 6.
I never thought I'd see this day. This is a guy who had been doing map 6 with his eyes closed for a year now.
And we had requests from 2 players to be moved to map 5 only.
Oh and one guy was on the verge of quitting coz he finished the week almost out of items on map 5. This is not a noob we're talking about. We undertand that and it's what's more frustrating. On top of all input issues, both maps are plain overtuned.
My old group went from placements around 850 to suddenly being 700, which I took as a clear sign groups were failing or dropping to easier maps.
What’s disheartening in all of this is that I went to a 5-5-4 group and could pull 4150 glory for 225mil points. I only got 46-4700 for scoring 440mil. Kabam really should have introduced stair step milestones for glory instead of giving 3400 peak milestones to every group between 250mil and 600mil.
My guess is they'll wait till everyone is out of items and be forced to drop down to lower maps before they make a change. No matter how much feedback there is here it's data from gameplay that's going to affect a decision. Lower maps require less time playing so that will show up.
We dropped down to map5 for all BGs and it's causing less participation because everyone knows how easy it is. There's such a huge disparity between map5 and 6. I just cleared the mini with 3 people joined.
Map 6 is even more difficult this week. Week 5. The ai will not throw specials. Epic mods and the ai holds block to sp3 instantly. AQ is an unwelcome chore. Zero fun. Stressful. No wonder folks are quitting.

Alliance modes are crucial to the game’s health. The feeling of keeping up with your teammates, showing off, or not letting them down is a big motivator for many. The social aspect keeps us engaged and keeps us playing the game when we’d otherwise quit.
I have a buddy who only plays alliance content, and only plays that to stay in touch. Having four different officers left our group at the end of the last war season, including me after four and a half years in one place.
Not a single one of the four went to do harder maps. You know why? Because the reward structure doesn’t support it at all. Because of escalating prices with each glory purchase, even if I got an extra 600 glory, it would basically only get me 15% t5b. Rank rewards and crystals are better, but if I had to spend *any* glory to do that, I’m not sure I’ve come out ahead, especially when you factor in the mental load/stress involved.
Wierd having 100+ hit fights in map 6 on day 2 on regular path fights. I don’t see rank 3 6*s doing 600 dmg light attacks and 1k dmg mediums in any other content aside from alliance quest.

Day 1 Map 6 no mods - 18500 million(approx)
Day 1 Map 5 no mods - 12300 million (epic mod would add 1700 million) = 14000 million
So you get more with Map 6 no mods.
I really have a huge desire to hear from kabam. It have never used this much items not even at the worst Times last year
