Crossbones frustration

Yes, I understand that there are dividers between skilled players and not-so-skilled. But: I’ve been Uncollected for a while, kept repeatedly attacking the 6.1.5 boss Crossbones with different solutions, watched Youtube videos etc. All for nothing. At the same time, the difference between Uncollected and higher ranks keeps growing - the difference in access to ’coloured t5cc’ alone is enormous. So, because of this one specific fight, regardless of other successes, or overall rating etc., it is soon so that Alliance Wars are filled with defenders of a rank that Uncollected cannot reach. Yes, practice, play better - but, Kabam also risks losing players from frustration over one single fight. Nobody wins. Could not e.g. ’Overall rating’ or some other criterion be an additional path to Cavalier?

My mini got cavalier a while ago, can’t really remember who I used but these were my top champs at the time, most likely it was LC 👇
This game is built to challenge you more and more as you progress. When you hit your skill peak, you increase your roster strength. When you hit your roster peak, you work on your skills.
The challenge to get Cavalier has been and always will be take down the Sentinel at 6.1.6. Unfortunately that’s not going to change, because it’s a challenge to you that says “get skilled enough or a strong enough roster or a combination of both to get past all the content between act 1 and act 6.1.6”. If you can’t do it yet, unfortunately you’re not ready by the standard every other cavalier+ has got through.
As for what you can do, feel free to ask for help, advice or tips from those who have done it. If you don’t have good options, it’s time to focus on side quests, uncollected event quest and other content to build your roster up to a point where you’re strong enough.
Or work on your skills so you can take down the fight with a less than ideal option. I’ve done it with a rank 4 5* Red Hulk before, I’m not saying that’s the bar of being cavalier, but it’s an option to use a non ideal champion.
Post your roster, I’d be glad to suggest options
This is how I did with having Aegon. Aegon did the most work as I kept allowing myself to get hit to build those 6x furies easily and I also had the Heimdall cheat death synergy, provided the AAR from Crossbones’s fury don’t shut down the Heimdall cheat death synergy.
So get hit - build 6x furies - activate Heimdall cheat death synergy by K.O and this gives you unstoppable buff so use those unstoppable buff windows to turn the tide little by little - used the unstoppable buff to make things easier to hit Crossbones as crossbones loves to play aggressive with playing smart. This costed me 12 revives, but they were all from the 4Hours crystals, some from questing areas and some from units farmed from arena.
If the skills or the width of the collection isn’t enough then brute force your way with your highest attacking type champion often help with few revives.
Boost up and quit out before the next heal kicks in if necessary. <10 revives.
Later I went in with R4 (5*) Rogue for the Carina challenge. I was surprised how much easier CB seemed after the NERF and she isn't even poison immune, just lots of intercept, bait his SP1 to punish and use my own SP1 to stay healed up. Solo the 1st time in and only my 2nd attempt at that CB (with way more than a year between tries).
If you have a poison counter, this guy should be pretty easy now as his regen is waaaaay toned down. If you have a warlock, well, then it should be really easy. If it's still holding you back, consider the exit, revive, restart strategy after building up your stash - just to get through it. Really though, if you're needing to do that, then the content isn't going to get easier, so keep practicing. I know it sucks to get through a lane and have to quit out completely. But it's also great motivation for focusing, strategizing and getting better and you don't have to burn any items to do that 1 try - you just have to be willing to keep trying it until you get it down.
My best choice was a 5* r4 Domino, which was my top champ also back then.
Fully boosted her, died, revived and repeat, took me around 9 or 10 revs.
Sometimes is dumb to wait for a direct counter, just brute force the fight and move on 😉
You just need to deal with one regen before you get your infection up, and then do enough damage to get back below that point. Have you considered the cable synergy to make your infection go on faster?
What rank and star is your warlock?
As others have said, post your roster and we can suggest options you may not have thought about or seen on YouTube. You might have new champs that nobody has made content on yet for that crossbones.
There is a quest in 3.2.6 that is good to grind revives from if you need them, you can get health potions from RoL, and from 22 hour events.
Unfortunately, if your attitude to a fight stopping you is “this should be changed” then that’s gonna be your attitude forever. When you get stuck behind Sentinel, behind Champion 6.2 or Mordo, or Cap IW or Mysterio or any of the other hard fights all you’ll think is this should be changed. In fact, what does need to change is you. And I don’t mean that in a harsh way, I mean you can get better whether that’s skill or roster or both.
Once you get this fight down, you’ll look back at this thread and wonder why you ever thought you needed the fight changed. Honestly, the satisfying feeling of finally getting a fight down is so much better than having it changed so you can get through.
There’s a ton of people here ready to help with advice, take advantage of that if you’d like. But you’re not going to win a debate on whether the fight should be changed because people are getting stuck by it, that’s literally the point of the game. To challenge you, make you fail and then make you better.
Btw, what champions did you bring for the fights.. there are many possible champion combinations that could help.. I admit it was a while back but I was able to get it done... I need lots of revives and potions to get thru it as I'm not as consistent.. if I can do it, you can too.
It’s possible that after you take that guy down, there will be a psychological barrier that goes down that lets you figure out how to take on the rest of act six. For sure the grandmaster is just a completely different kind of animal, maybe that kind of fight will go better? You already have the R3 6* to get thronebreaker after all.
Did it on mini and his poison immunity and ready access to heal block work like a charm. Think I used a R3 boosted.
Dr. Zola
Most games that are released in the past years have tutorials or interfaces that are almost baby-ing their players that they need not to think about what to do next because it's already pointed out to them. I find it horribly boring. It breeds stupid and spoiled players (There's still a lot here in MCOC but comparably less).
This is why I find MCOC really engaging as it encourages you to strategize, reevaluate and rethink your game until you can finally overcome what's ahead of you. That feeling of satisfaction is fairly rare these days. MCOC is like a mini Dark Souls of the mobile game industry. A series I am also a fan of.
Think. It's much more fun than being spoonfed. Also, we have a really helpful community who also loves overcoming those said obstacles.
If all else fails why not beat the living hell out of him with this guy...
If you have 12 might, that CB is gonna go down pretty quickly. Worst case scenario it's a coupe of revives.
I only wish I had a duped Herc back when I was clearing that content.
Not a heavy hitter but power control and also nullifying health gain with SP1. This worked for me.
