war should be fun first and foremost. i like these updates although i do agree that loyalty return should be more.
Saying you "Don't see how people think it's a bad thing" when this thread is filled with people explaining how its a bad thing is pretty funny tho
The point I'm making is it's about choices. We can choose to spend on War, or we can choose to save for the Mats. We don't always have the given right to choose to have it all.
Enough of buying urself fights to win in war. Time to truly put ur skills in play and not bring ur 200% cosmic booster with ur rank 4 maxed Corvus and walk on the park in war lol. Now winning in war will be key to ge the loyalty we need to rank up based on skill. Fair enough.
For those complaining on the people that hoarded 10 million of loyalty….well guess what… they can only claim very little per 40 plus days so it will take time before they spend it all.
For those war master alliances…. Time to put the real skill in place and see what u guys are really about. Every time I watch their war fights…. There is at least 4…5..6 boosters on…. Time to spend it and use it wisely now.
Then missing out on a few r4 materials, which are good but very high price in loyalty, will become worthless. They are already dishing out r4 materials everywhere now, they are no longer scared resource.
The 6* gem is decent addition
I understand how more casual aw players might enjoy this change for them personally, but for everyone who actually wants to try in alliance war these are absolutely devastating changes.
There have to be better balance and solutions!
I’m hoping the changes stays just for one session but do’s sick those who like the competition in AW is just really isn’t fun now
It's like we are being pushed to use units....
In all seriousness as someone who doesn’t play war it incentivizes me to want to play again. If the goal is to get war participation numbers up this will work.
If the goal is to reward current war players, especially high tier, the loyalty earned needs to be drastically increased as they use all their loyalty already. And if that doesn’t happen, it’s a big swing and a miss.
For those who don’t “understand” the problem, here it is. Kabam created a competitive game mode that lots of people enjoy. There are certain fights on that competitive game mode that you LITERALLY have to use certain boosts on to clear without dying and that require certain champs. Furthermore, the only way to play that competitive game mode successfully is to plan out each war start to finish which takes time.
By limiting the class boosts to one per war, kabam is again putting even more work on the shoulders of the officers that already use their time (for free) to make alliance wars successful. In many allies, people agree who should be ranked for war defense/attack. Then, the officer can generally know which fights people can take with the champs they have. By limiting the purchase of boosts to one per week, it either requires the officer to take extra time to move people around every war or the ally to just say screw it and accept deaths bc of this arbitrary change. It’s not about “playing above abilities,” it’s how the game is designed.
Additionally, the change to using loyalty to just buy materials is a slap in the face to competition. With how rare loyalty continues to be combined with the insanity for buying health potions for loyalty, there is literally no incentive rewards-wise to do anything but just clear with 40% boosts and buy r4 materials. The change to the glory store on potions was insane and this change exacerbates the potion buying problem. It’s basically ensuring that FTP players cannot compete in master war by taking away all viable ftp options besides units and making them spend hours upon hours grinding for units.
If you claim to not “understand” those concepts, then I don’t know what to tell you. You’re either ignoring the obvious or you’re not being honest.
