The problem clearly isn't with you making an innocent forum discussion post, it's with you arguing with everyone who doesn't agree with you just for the sake of arguing. Maybe they were dumping their energy, maybe they weren't, why does that matter?
Do you want change to come from this post? What do you suggest would be the better Battlegrounds matchmaking system? Do you understand why the current system is designed the way that it is? Are you actually sure that people are being improperly matched because of this? If you were the one beating all of them, how can you be sure they were really affected? Have you considered that maybe the reason they're stuck in the same bracket is because they keep forfeiting matches whenever they see a player with a bigger roster?

Here's as low as i can go on the match history, i played for a little while today, and here are 2 of the accounts i faced which werent even anywhere near the lowest i saw.
These changes are awesome!! Especially for lower accounts, who can climb faster through the Victory Track all the way to Diamond!! And the more people are in Diamond, the more chances at decent matchmaking, so overall easier acces to Gladiator Circuit!!
What i don't understand is why do we need only 3 medals (2 medals/ victory) instead of 5, to get from Platinum 1 to Diamond 3 ??

If I was facing those low rated accounts in bronze or silver then I would feel bad for them cuz they are put in a death match so early in bgs but these guys have had preferential matchmaking till plat so I don’t have any qualms on beating these guys. There has to be a ceiling which one hits based on their roster and skill and right now platinum-diamond seems to be that ceiling.This ensures that the lower rated accounts aren’t given a free ride till GC.

It takes two to tango. I would recommend chilling out on personal attacks (whether they're deserved or not) before this thread gets closed by the mods.
DNA has already provided many great explanations on why matchmaking is competitively fair. If you feel bad crushing people, then push Gladiator circuit until you're punching in your weight class. You'll find more "fair" matchmaking when you have risen to the level of competition your account and skill is supposed to reach.

Yup not buying any of this. You're making this big of a deal with little to no evidence. You now claim it happened the whole season but again you have 2 SS and 6 matches as evidence. Then proceed to tell me 16.2 prestige accounts vs 19.5k prestige account that's also masters aw is not that big of a difference. Lmao. It doesn't work like that. You have a wonderful day. Yeah, I don't really understand this. You are .... prolonging the fight so that the poor sap on the other end gets their hope raised by a second round victory, so that you can stomp them out in the third round? That is pretty villainous.
I know when I am overmatched and the opponent has a much stronger roster than I, I appreciate being able to just lose two rounds, get 1 match completion towards my objective, and move on with my day.
Great changes imo. I’ve been critical in previous seasons as it’s been so hard to progress and defo felt like a punishment for having progressed in the rest of the game by playing a long time or having spent and that should not b the case so I’m very happy for the changes. Now we can all fall in line depending on roster, skills, knowledge and time spent in the mode and that’s how a competitive mode should b for me at least. Glad I can start ranking up some champs again as I just didn’t feel like it before the changes.
