Character you slept on for too long

Hey all! Been meaning to ask this for a bit. Do you all have any characters in the contest that you just totally ignored at first, but eventually grew to like?

For me it was definitely Spider-Ham. I didn't bother using him for a REALLY long time, and now he's one of my favorite 6* science champions. He was my MVP for the superior Kang fight in 7.4, particularly on the debuff segments.

Venom the duck. I always figured he was garbage. Now the at I have him as an awakened 7* (and he is my only 7*), I understand a lot more about his kit, and it’s actually really sick. He has a surprising amount of utility and his damage is insane once you ramp him up (much easier with the purgatory synergy). He’s not a meta champ by any means, but he’s super fun for questing.

I has him as My Best 4 Star at the time but sOmeoNe sold it just as i was starting to like him

Hood. I rarely used him before his buff and pretty much forgot he existed. Now he's easily in my top 10 favourite champions to play (especially with the synergy that tops up his hex bullets).

Carnage. He’s filthy. I took him from rank one to rank three last week and plan on bringing him r4 tonight. Ranking up red goblin as a companion piece and he’s also way better then I thought.

Prof X. At first I only saw him as a somewhat annoying defender but realised he is a good evade and kiss counter. Used him to solo the 7.3.2 mol and 7.3.3 stealth spidey

Hercules
One my friends kept saying to me that he was insane but I just ignored him an said he was bad. Anyways I got him as a 6star now and started watching YouTube on the game and realised he was easily better than anyone else

Falcon and Bishop. I ignored Falcon for so long because his attack was average and he was too squishy. I tested him primarily to manage Thing, who i couldnt beat at all and Falcon became my #1 skill champ. Bishop i had dismissed as a defender but lack of mutant options as 6*s made me put him on attack teams and he is amazing.

I am now discovering Angela and Overseer. Need to practice more with them. Always a learning curve in this game.

Chavez, never really used her before the EoP I did with her and realized how good she is. She is really good in this meta too. Been pulling 40 second BG fights with her.

Karnak dude can do massive dmg as long as you don't get hit and only do sp2 and when he's dupes he gains power hitting block which imo is op

America Chavez.
Never bothered about her till I got her as a 7*.
Read her abilities description and took her for a test run at ROL.
After couple of fights I realised what a beast she is.
Put her immediately at my BGs deck and she was taking down buffed match ups faster than r4 AA 😮
People were expecting to use her as defender, but they were surprised using her as attacker, and taking out annoying matchups like Ebony Maw, which Chavez is great for.
She is definitely a top tier mystic and very fun to play champ.
Whoever hasn’t give her a chance, I highly recommend to do so.
But anyway, I can already see her reputation trending up through BGs.
People are now starting to realise that AC is a great double threat BGs champ 🙂
