Well someone finally got me to watch one of his videos, at least.
I don't care about this issue, though. He's pbv a great player. He just jumped a line he was gonna pass anyway. Whales buy champs and units and jump the line every day, so buying an account doesn't seem all that different, except the money doesn't go to Kabam.

Should we also ban KarateMike because he used to be merc?
Ha! KM is beloved by the community (for some reason) and Kabam. He is untouchable.
KT will earn the right to go to the battlerelam brawl, but we will be denied because a certain community manager hates him (despite what he says). 4 of the top 10 BG players every season will not even be allowed to participate in this "best player" tournament due to government rules (which I understand) and personal bias (which is a shame).

Hey im all for banning KT cause he did break the rules I just wanna see how consistent people are.Keep the same energy for all cheaters
I think that, at some point, you have to observe a statute of limitations. You can’t really let a guy spend years (and years) investing in an account and then ban him for (relatively minor) actions near the very beginning of the journey. But I think most of us know that, and this is about something else entirely…

I think the big difference is that KT has openly admitted to and expressed remorse for what he did. To my knowledge, KM has not. If I am wrong in that, I do apologize.
My point is the Battlerealm Brawl is a chance for the BEST players to complete against each other and I think it's a shame that some of the top players in the world aren't going to get invited, whatever their reason may be. It honestly would not shock me one bit if all top 8 finishers next season are excluded for various reasons.
One thing should be certain, and that is that if a player has EVER been banned for any reason, they should not get invited. Miike said as much in his post. Let's see how serious it was, or if some players who Kabam likes will get the free pass.
You'd have to ban pretty much every player in a top alliance who has played the game for 5+ years. It's pretty obvious you are new but in the infancy of the game it was pretty much a requirement to share you login info in competitive alliance. Kt is just the one of the few to be man enough to admit it.
Why the hell do people not like kt? What did he do?
This is my limited impression of him from years ago so he might have changed. But I don't like his content because it often felt like rage bait, designed to get people angry, no matter how minor a situation was. His vids also always felt very long-winded, taking 10 minutes to say something that could be done in 3 minutes(I get that he does this to increase ads, doesn't change the fact I dislike watching it) And I also just straight up don't agree with a lot of things he's said in the past. (Doesn't mean I'm calling to get him banned tho, this post is kinda weird)

yep. 4-5 years ago it was normal/common to:
-finish your friend's quest -move people in aq -buy energy refills and revives from mercs back when year round trading was still around -fill the "alliance treasury" with loyalty, gold, and BCs, for AQ using mercs, especially since loyalty was rare and map 6 was expensive. mercs would be invited to the alliance, fill the stash then leave -mercing labyrinth -piloting AW
around 2019, community standards changed and people got good and the game's much better for it, but you can't hold people to old standards. i hope that if KT qualifies that kabam let's him in.
Listen, I'll be the first to admit someone repenting doesn't change their actions. However, it's not something going on currently. Is it wrong? Yes. Should he have been held responsible? Yes. Regardless of whether "everyone was doing it" or not. Is it feasible to punish them now? No.

dont think so, there should be no exceptions in this matter, if they do that then whats the point for everything they say about TOS ?
Also: (1) it's against forum rules to accuse someone of cheating (2) Kabam do not discuss individual accusations of cheating or bans on this forum (3) you have no way of knowing if he's already served a ban for this, years ago. Most bans aren't permanent, so how would you know?
There's more in the thread above; but seriously, if you don't like the guy, just don't watch his videos 🤷♂️

I’m guessing you got caught for something and just want some company?
