Do you still use ressources for 6* R5?

Sooo... Are you guys still spending ressources for 6* R5?

T6CC are still rare and with the announcement of the new progression title, it is clear that the focus has been on 7* champs... So my question is: Is it still viable to use T6CC on 6* champs, or do you save those exclusively for 7* champs?

I mean, you can still get great use of your 6* champs by ascending R4 champs and also there are 4->5 Gems so you wouldn't use up valuable T6CCs...

Personally, I don't have a single champ at 6* R5 or 7* R2. I have a 4->5 Tech Gem, but am not a good enough Ghost player to use it on her. I was so set on bringing Herc to R5 an ascending him, once Cyber Weekend Deals hit, but now I am not so sure anymore...

Then again, I don't have a strong enough 7* roster to only focus on them (OG Hulk gets the 1->2 gem from 8.3, but other than that there's only Surfer, Sam Wilson and Storm X).

    Nope, i will use only rankup gems for 6*. I m working on R2 ing my 7*s.

    Only if i wanna ascend someone like Herc,Fanta,KP, Scorpion otherwise i focus on 7* R2, we'll have access to R5 gems more and more so no point dumping all resources on R5s.

    Have to say I feel really stupid using resources on rank 5 my 6*. With them only coming out early this year, I thought they might still be used for the next progression but boy, was I wrong!
    Saying that, the rank ups are not the worse considering it was for Herc and Apoc when I had no Cosmic or Mutant 7* at that point. Now I have 3 Cosmic (Gamora, Gorr and Angela) and 1 Mutant (Gambit) 7* and might pull the trigger on Gorr if the resources build up again one day…

    Only use 4-5 and 3-4 gem. Stopped using T6CC and T3A on 6* if it is not my favourite champion.

    I do still take champs to r5 using resources but everyone is different and needs different things would I r2 a 7* just because it’s a 7* nope

    I wouldn't R5 a 6 star with catalysts unless I really have no 7 star option and I have stuff expiring. R5s are expensive

    Herc, Scorp and FAM my only R5s and all are via gems. Have a half dozen R2 and currently saving my 1-2 gem and cats for two more until I see what’s going on with Necro.

    I have used resources on 4 of my 6 r5 6* the other 2 I used skill rank up gems now I'm going to start transitioning to rank up materials for 7*s and use the rank up gems for 6*s currently I'm 1 full t6cc and 11k t6cc shards shy of taking my first tech to r2 will be shuri then I still have my 1-2 gem but think I may hold on to that to see what class I pull for the r3 gem from.necropolis completion

    I only have Herc at R5 and Im waiting for Necropolis to either bring some to R5 also or get some more R2 on 7*, depending on what ill need to explore it before Xmas

    Where did you get those Gems?
    Probly from the r5 gems from the gwenpool event or 4th of July deals I know the 4th deals had r5 gems in the odin deals

    Ah, makes sense, thanks... Fingers crossed for some gems in the unit deals this month! Although I only will be able to bring about 6-7k units, hope that will be enough for some decent rank-ups.

    Depends on the 6* and 7*s I have. I've taken quite a few nasty defenders, like photon, to r5 using catalysts because I had no 7* science. I'd definitely say it was worth the investment, however now I'll probably just stick to ranking then up with gems.

    Ascension has made 6* viable for longer. So yes some strong 6* with sig dependancy are worthy of using resources.

    I will, because the champs I want to r5 haven’t been released as 7*s, many of them like high sig, and they will still benefit me for a long time

    Used cats for herc. Maybe it would’ve been better to hoard but it’s fine, no regrets. A r5 ascended hercules is a very enjoyable champion to play

    I used catalysts for my Tigra rank 5 and I'm going to do it again with my ascended Kitty, after that Kate will be next.

    There are definitely some champs that we won't see in the 7 star pool for a while. I have 6 R5s (Herc, Hulkling, Kingpin, Doom, Jessica Jones and Apoc)

    But I have started focusing on 7R2s (Maw, Terrax, G99 and Titania)

    I just wanted to make sure I have 1 R2 in each class, so I can be ready for the next progression title.

    I will still do some R5s when the champ needs high sig or I don't think they will enter the 7 star pool anytime soon. Especially as resources become more available

    I'm still sitting on the 8.3 r2 gem, just because I don't really have anyone I want to use it on. I'm also half a cosmic t6 away from r5ing Adam. Just not bothering with my 7*s for now...

    With the ability to ascend, it is still worth taking up 6s, especially ones that won't be 7s for awhile. But it mainly depends on which 7s you pull and if you can dupe them.

    Some 6* r5 are way more valuable than the majority of 7* r2 available, some 6*s may get the Quake and Magik treatment and never make it to the 7* pool.

    Ranking 6*s without a gem are not the greatest invest anymore.
    I have 7 6* r5s and I’m not planning to do anyone more, because it seems like a waste for t6cc that could be used for 7* r2.
    6*s will very soon be dead for endgame, with the 7s r3 arrival.
    Kabam introduced ascension to save 6*s, but with the rate they are allowing us to ascend 6*s, we will have already be deep in the 7* meta before we could be able to ascend even a full team of 6*s,(5), let alone to ascend a descent number of them.
    Kabam missed the mark with ascension big time.

    I still don't have any 6r5 besides Scorpion who I used a Gem on. I am planning on taking Hercules to 6r5.

    After that, I will likely focus on 7*s though at the moment I don't have any champ that I would consider worth ranking.
