Adam Warlock is bugged against Dani

When she throws her special 1 into the pod while the Marked is applied it pulls him out of it, which makes no sense.

    If it means unstoppable it should say unstoppable.
    Exactly. If this ability can be countered with slow, it should be in the ability description.

    Kabam have always been atrocious with wording of character abilities, back in the day every update had a good chunk of "text updates"

    I dont think this is so much, a bug, as bad wording of kit. But feel free to call me wrong, I'm not the game dev I can't be certain 😂

    Man it’s impossible to talk on the forums if you think that’s hostile. I clearly showed a picture of the ability description not matching what’s happening in combat and this person’s explaining me something completely random, if you can be corporately polite all the time, good for you, but I don’t like that kind of direction for myself.

But if everything was working properly, then at that moment in time you would be in the pod and unable to act. That's no different from what is actually happening. You should be unable to act while you are in the pod. The game believes you're still in the pod, which is why the pod icon is still there. By normal duration we would expect you to still be in the pod, so there's no reason to doubt the icon. Except for the visuals, everything is happening as it would, if the visuals were correct. So the logical explanation is that the visuals are broken, but the actual effects are not. If you have evidence that Adam behaves differently than he should other than the animation that would suggest the problem wasn't simply animation based. Do you have something of that nature?

    Question: did you watch the vid I linked or just looked at the pic? Because the vid shows Adam being stunlocked by Dani’s sp1 after the pod expires.

    Cannot use any attacks probably means stunned and locked in place probably means unstoppable. A lot of probably but I guess that's just how they wanted to word it.. idk, but it's bad wording regardless

If you have evidence that Adam behaves differently than he should other than the animation that would suggest the problem wasn't simply animation based. Do you have something of that nature?
    Question: did you watch the vid I linked or just looked at the pic? Because the vid shows Adam being stunlocked by Dani’s sp1 after the pod expires.
    I watched the entire video frame by frame, three times. Twice before I wrote my post, once again before this one.
    And did you not see Adam’s stunned animation playing throughout the entirety of Dani’s special?
    Adam is literally supposed to be stunned in the pod so he cant move.
    But i think he's not supposed to be stunned after the pod (with the exception of getting a stun debuff until the pod expires). The video shows that getting "stun locked" caused by dani animations means that adam doesnt have the "invulnerability frame" that he usually have after the pod expires to respond (by blocking, evade etc.)

    From what I can tell from the video, this appears to be a visual bug, not a combat bug. When I watch Dani's attack frame by frame, it appears that when she strikes with her SP1 Adam visually emerges from the pod, but the pod icon is still active and all of its effects are still affecting Adam. For example, damage seems to be getting reduced, and Adam seems to be immediately healing most of it back. Also, I think Adam would be moving backwards normally when struck by the first few hits of SP1, even if only slightly, but he seems to be stuck in the same spot until the last hit kills him. When I test Dani vs Adam and hit him with an SP1 when he isn't in the pod, even if he is standing still and blocking, he moves backward a noticeable amount.

    So at least at first glance, it looks like Adam is still behaving as if he is still under all the effects of the pod - he doesn't move, he resists damage, and he heals back damage - until he gets killed and then he becomes unrooted and flies backward.

    I don't think the slow is countering the pod, or even the "unstoppable" part of the pod's effects, at least from what I could see. I could be wrong there, because everything happens quickly, but that's what I saw when looking at the video. The fact that Adam dies at the end complicates the analysis a bit.
    I’ll tell you exactly what happens, he gets stun locked by the special because he’s slowed, which means you can’t dodge anymore and get killed. They should add a slow immunity while he’s in the pod otherwhise he’s unplayable against it.
    Adam would be unable to act while the pod is active, so claiming he is stun locked by slow, when the simpler explanation is that while the pod is active Adam can't act regardless of the slow debuff and the problem is visual or animation-based, would be an unjustified extrapolation without some additional evidence.

    To put it another way, you seem to be complaining that Adam is "stun locked" and the slow caused this. But if everything was working properly, then at that moment in time you would be in the pod and unable to act. That's no different from what is actually happening. You should be unable to act while you are in the pod. The game believes you're still in the pod, which is why the pod icon is still there. By normal duration we would expect you to still be in the pod, so there's no reason to doubt the icon. Except for the visuals, everything is happening as it would, if the visuals were correct. So the logical explanation is that the visuals are broken, but the actual effects are not.     He does have the invulnerability frame its just that Dani hits him right before it triggers so he ends up stuck in the special combo for the last hit. Its unfortunate but it is not a bug, plus it can easily be played around by simply not triggering the pod while she has a sp1.
