    Now, the Twitter thing is a different situation, I've no idea why he tweeted that when he did in fact imply Herc is getting nerfed eventually when he said "not getting nerfed YET".

    The only way I was able to get Hercules was by buying him with the selector champ paying 100s of dollars and I still haven’t gotten him any other way. That’d be a reason to quit if any.

    Just because you spent your $$$ in attempt to acquire Hercules, doesn't mean you own it. Yes, it's your account, but Kabam has the deed. Our accounts are just rentals

    Hercules will NOT be nerfed guys. They will just create a node stating "Champs with the tag #God will suffer -95% attack rating and -100 Ability Accuracy Reduction". Plain and simple.

    It’s his mess to fix though. He started that post with “We do want to nerf Hercules, and there is no time limit on when that can happen.” It was pretty much guaranteed that someone would take that line and run with it, ignoring the next sentence where he says there are no plans to do so.

    Those of us who follow the forums closely know this Herc OP debate and understood what he was saying. But in a world where YouTubers who will remain nameless (*cough cough*) twist and distort things for clicks, the best move might have been to just say we have no plans to nerf Herc, full stop.
    It's not his fault. People took what Jax and Aiden were saying and heard something completely different. it snowballed into what's happened these past few days.


    This is what I’m referring to. The messaging could have been a lot clearer - all he needed to say was “we have no plans to do that at this time.”
    It literally says "we have no plans for that at this time" on the second sentence what do you mean? Lol
    The first sentence says "we DO want to nerf Hercules." Then he says Herc is not getting nerfed...YET.
    People were not crazy for seeing this as a promise that Herc would be nerfed in the future.
    **In fact, the tone here was very similar to the post we got that revive farming would be nerfed in the future.**

    All is well that ends well, I guess. 🤷‍♂️
    I'm not arguing that, he asked why they didn't just say "we have no plans for that at this time", I was pointing out Miike did indeed say that but he was also being honest about Kabam wanting to nerf Herc and it being a possibility in the future. People wanted transparency well they got it, I don't really see the issue with that post in specific personally.
    Twitter post though, different story.

    Do you know how many people that would’ve probably quit the game without Hercules being in it? He has helped tons of summoners get through content they probably wouldn’t have which keeps them engaged in the game. The argument that he cost money is ridiculous to me because there’s millions of people that still spend money on the game that have him. there’s probably tons of people who would’ve quit the game if it was not for him. But the argument he cost the company money is ridiculous to me. Are they going bankrupt? every time they give out resources for free with endgame content technically they’re costing themselves money are they not? Every very skilled summoner that can complete content without having to spend money or units is costing the company money are they not? Such a bad argument that he cost the company money

    Without Hercules, people would have developed their skills elsewhere. Like they did with Quake, and the old God Tier Champs, and many others. We can't always rely on an easy street. It's not healthy for the game, and it's not healthy for us as Players.
