Why not Medusa instead of Nova? No hood yet, no Cassie (instead of thing), no hit monkey, etc. I think there’s a good balance that the crystal can have that they just refuse to add champs like this instead of thing and nova.
( Cassie,..Hit Monkey),…champs worth investing in as a 7 star.
….Everything a Titan crystal “SHOULD” be.
Symbiote Supreme is still super good against anyone with buffs and who can bleed. Nova, needs high sig on attack but can still be good on defense (unless they have a mystic)
They're not all going to be Onslaught calibre.
That’s specifically contrary to the design intent of the crystal. Titans were explicitly intended to *break* that notion. If you think that, the Titan is supposed to convince you otherwise. The original intent of the featured crystals was to be a crystal where some players got some of the things that they were targeting in the crystal, but the players twice broke the crystal by simply trading basic pulls for featured pulls, practically guaranteeing that they would pull at least some of, if not all of their targets.
The Titan crystal simultaneously is supposed to be hard to get and have a sufficiently diverse pool that players would not just get whatever they want. The idea that it should either be easy to get or have every champ be what the player wants implies the player should always have full control over at least some aspect of their drops. The game does not allow for that level of player agency in champion pulls.
In other words, the devs *intend* for players to think the crystal is either too rare or insufficiently curated. Players want a lot of things, but the devs explicitly avoid giving all of those things. This is one of those things the devs want players to have, but they will not give. Ironically, this thread is positive feedback.
Yeah I know. Economic design reality is very unpopular. Flag away.
I didn't say we need op champs only, neither did I say that because of the value of the crystal only good champs should be in there or else they should be easy to acquire these are all assumptions that you just pulled out of nowhere basically. However, currently most of the stuff in there is mid garbage (at least for BGs purposes, can guarantee you most Celestial players will agree) and personally I think there should be a little bit more balance when it comes to older champs.
What is it with you people and the "not all champs have to be broken" lol nobody on this thread has said all champs in the featured have to be broken and meta relevant. Nobody is asking for that, we're literally just asking for more balance when it comes to the older champs being added because as it stands 75% of the older ones in there are either mid garbage nobody in GC is using, or good but require sig 200 which I don't think I need to explain why having so many of those sucks.
Kabam said something about “learning from their mistakes”,..yet i wonder if they are or ever will.
But forget all that, i can’t wait to bring my 7 star blade into act 9 ( just have to dust off my 6 star ghost rider to complete that ancient synergy).
But wait …there’s more!
I get to rehash old memories and revisit the act 6 champion boss with my 7 star sym Supreme!!
All of this…AND,…when my 7 star thing and nova are awakened and sig 200 ( sometime in late 2025 or 2026),..you’ll all be seeing them in battlegrounds….better watch out all! 😅
Those don't seem like a positive outcome that benefits kabam so I'm really wondering: if that's the intent then what's the intended outcome?
Opening a Titan Crystal takes about two months of dedicated gameplay. For such effort, the rewards should be more meaningful. Yet, many older champions in the pool are either weak or require high signature levels to be useful -making them impractical for most players, especially in competitive BGs.
The idea that including less desirable champions adds balance does not hold up. A balanced system should reward dedication, not penalize players with low-value pulls. The current setup often leaves players with champions that are not competitive or useful, which is disheartening after the effort required to obtain a Titan Crystal.
Moreover the rotation of new characters into the Titan Crystal pool further complicates things. When new champions are introduced, players expect a fair chance to acquire them. However, the odds are low due to the large number of less desirable champions. This problem intensifies with each rotation, as new heroes push out previous ones, resetting the cycle of disappointment.
Feedback from players shows a desire for champions like Medusa, Hood, and Hit Monkey in the Titan Crystal, rather than less competitive ones like Nova,Thing, Blade. The developers' intention to maintain variety should not come at the expense of player satisfaction. Including more competitive and valuable champions would provide fair rewards for players' effort and enhance overall satisfaction.
The current Titan Crystal system is flawed. The effort to obtain a crystal, combined with low odds of drawing a useful champion, creates an imbalanced experience. The diversity in the pool should offer meaningful rewards, not frustration. Revising the system to include more competitive champions would reward player dedication and foster a more positive environment.
It’s up to Kabam to take feed back but here’s my 2 cents (little more).

Eventually, they'll have to start introducing the fodder (mid to terrible champs) into the 7* pool. They'll soon run out of good-but-not-broken champs to tier up. Then the likes of phoenix, dpx, gulk, thor rags, etc. will start entering the titan pool. That's a terrifying thought. Months of saving to pull a Moon Knight- I'm worried for the safety of my phone and many others'.
What adds to this, is more of a recent trend I'm noticing, where some of the new champs just spawn in mid as hell. So you're telling me you're adding 3 new mediocre champs, a few old trash cans, and maybe the odd new top tier champ? Brother, with how rare these things are to form, it's just not fun.
^See this word here? "Fun." A rare(ish) crystal should be fun and exciting to open, not dreadful. I don't care what DNA3000, or the mods say about game balancing/ RNG and what not. If there is barely a handful of useful champs in the pool, what makes the titan crystal any better than the basic? You've lost me at that point.
Well, with how these 50+ day rotations work, it's not exactly foolproof. Like how we got arcade and northstar this month, but they didn't make the cutoff for this recent titan update. It'll take almost 2 months for them to get into the titan, and almost a month for the champs coming in july. Even then, you're barely getting more than 1 try at this.
So won't it just be better to wait for the 6* featured instead? Which will take a month or so longer to arrive, yet almost guarantees the champ (through the sheer volume of 6* featureds we valiants/ paragons open).
Then r5ing and ascending them would be just as good, if not better than r2ing the 7* (considering awakening/ high sig and 7* r3s still being rare).
