Would say changing story quest to make it more stream lined and easier has been an overall net positive for game and the players. But I would be lying if I said I don't miss the challenge and how upset I would get going through 6.2 pre nerf. I think when variant content comes ( if it does) that should be the place where the summoners who love and love the feeling of not being able to do content day one can get that feeling and challenge that old variant and story content use to offer. How do you think.

I really miss hard content. It’s like he said. Back then you needed signature champs which fulfil the specific requirements to succeed.
Todays like hmm nothing special really. Everything has its pros and cons

What I feel we could use is some sort of repeatable challenge content that we can come back to multiple times. Sorta like eq but probably structured a bit differently. I know that sos is basically repeatable challenge content, but sos is more so a boss rush than a legitimate quest, and it doesn’t require that much planning you just use a champ for an objective that the community says is good for it.
I am however very excited for the upcoming content in august. Seems like a lot more planning will have to be done for it.
There are so many that aren’t motivated to advance progression brackets that kabam has incorporated different avenues for them to do so.
Whatever players reasons may be for sitting in limbo this is the reality, and creating story content again the likes of pre nerf act 6 is a sure fire way to exacerbate this trend.
To add,..kabam has been very generous lately with content directed at end game players,..with the likes of Necro / Wow and Sos.
So much for protecting the game economy ... I said this way back when that things would get this way when you essentially poop on the game economy .. and now look at everyone's roster.
Variants based on saga champ pool and storyline is just a missed opportunity. Or a Third difficulty of back issues work as well

Like seriously if some folks like extreme difficulty in content,..be creative and revisit Necro with 5 stars or something.
If you love this sort of thing,..the reward itself is just doing it,..by whatever creative means you can.

I honestly think that Kabam used to artificially inflate the difficulty of content a lot instead of it being genuine skill based stuff. Abyss, some parts of act 6 (pre-nerf), and even some EOP objectives were just revive sinks even if you played well at the time of release. I’m glad that we have content like Necro now instead
I did like some parts of pre-nerf act 6 with more limitations so that could definitely be implemented, but I firmly believe that most of Kabam’s older content was just artificially inflated to be difficult

I do think there needs to be a valiant EQ.
