It wasn't a lie, the Stark Foundation's total donation was 200,000,000 points. The community's whining is predictable enough I took a screenshot yesterday before the event ended.
I love you 3000 Mr Stark
Crashed is officially Mr Stark
Tony stark secretly owns MCOC and we don’t even know about it

I think it’s great that the team did this to ensure we’d hit the 1 billion mark. Thanks from me. I tend to be critical more often than not right now but this was appreciated.
I love the concept of realm events but I hope the team looks beyond the whining to the constructive feedback back others attempted to provide. I think the whining might be looking at a bit too here as I think bonus milestones might be better hidden or even “locked” in some symbolic way next go. Rewards wise we are used to as a community “if we see it, we must be able to earn it” and that back fired in How this was structured.
Road to the Crypt remains the gold standard of how to do this. Hopefully we return to that form for the next go.
Agreed. We have learned a lot in these first few Realm Events. One thing as you pointed out is we need a better visual representation of which milestones are stretch goals and which we expect the community to be able to hit.
Well actually we could've hit 1 bill on our own even without the donation. So for the upcoming season i think y'all don't have to interfere in order to get max milestones.
Nah the donation probably encouraged more people to play
I’ve stated in a previous comment, these community events seemed like tests to see what is attainable and what isn’t, that makes sense. Sucks that many of us put in a ton of work and we still fell short (bonus or not). Hopefully they gauge this better moving forward so that goals are attainable without interference from outside support AND it doesn’t lead to a massive burnout for many players. Because for me, unless they revamp BG rewards moving forward I won’t be participating personally.
I also think it’s pretty unprofessional when devs jump online and bad talk their players.
I understand the community can be toxic as hell more often than not, but at the end of the day, the community is why this game still exists. If we all stopped playing their games, Kabam would be Kaput. What I’m saying is we all need to have a little more mutual respect, community included.

I’ll let you do the math but need to dispell this false narrative some are pushing forward (not saying you specifically). Without Kabam’s contributions we would have missed. I think the pay for play element of this was a bad inclusion and the amount that people may be willing to do so was mis-estimated.
Still no-harm here as Kabam stepped in and provided the needed course corrections to account for this. So once again a tip of the hat to how this was managed. Hopefully we can get there naturally next go with some design changes

While I’m overall appreciative of the Stark Donation and the booster rewards, the way the milestones are displayed, it does make it seem as if hitting 5k is likely to result in full milestones.

This was great—nice punch over the top for the Titan and done in a timely manner to sustain interest. I would have been surprised if the community did it all by themselves, but we came pretty close. Still prefer the Crypt styling, but overall this was good even if it was grindy for non-hardcore BG players. Appreciation well deserved!
Why doesn’t show top ranks scores . I placed 11th would like to know how close was to rank 1 we used to see this information now it’s secret apparently .not motivated play if can’t see how far or close was to r1on blitz event

Fell short... of what? We hit the Titan crystal goal. All the rest on top of that was just bonus. What did we as a community fall short on?

We fell short on the 1.5B points. “Bonus” or not, we didn’t get everything that we could have. That’s all I’m saying.

The FOMO is strong with this one.
Nah, just making a statement based on an accurate observation. Then someone asked for clarification and I clarified.
I think the biggest problem is the format in which the rewards were presented. Even though the titan was the last reward and everything after it was a bonus it still feels like we left rewards on the table.

This is the point I was trying to make on a post earlier and people aren’t getting it. Glad we hit the titan, but still we could’ve done more!

Bro is mad they told the truth.
Not at all. I agree with him, but his delivery is completely unprofessional. I know you don’t understand that when you just put fries in the bag. Have a good one little buddy!
And what makes you think I put fries in a bag? Perhaps you shouldn't assume things about people. Know what they say when you assume things? I'll let you figure it out "little buddy". I 100% agree with crashed on his exact choice of words, this community does whine. Alot and often. Maybe the community should look in the mirror and do some self searching.

Triggered much? Man, ok maybe you don’t put the fries in the bag. Maybe you do the drinks! Hugs and kisses!
Triggered? It would appear the only here who is Triggered is the person throwing insults. That would be you. All because you can't handle crashed telling the absolute truth. In all seriousness however, you might wanna stop with the insults. Kabam seems to be cracking down on forum users who continue to do it. Good luck in your future endeavors.
