So it’s shutting down so add this to another game that kabam decided to shut down.


It’s gona get shut down tomorrow.

Yall remember that mcoc spinoff game also that failed?

Goes to show when people stop spending on a mobile game it will lead to its downfall

Do you expect mcoc will go on for another 5,10 years?

    That’s what happens when most of the dev team gets laid off. Maybe due to not hitting financial targets but both were impactful.

    Never mind, not sure that you and I will play till the last day of this game 😄

    You see Saetin, the youtuber who has the most Mcoc subscribers, play at the very beginning of Mcoc, and earn a lot lot from the game to buy house, car etc. now already quit...

    We all have fun, at the moment, cheer! 🍻🎉

    According to Netmarble's Q3 2024 earnings report MCOC accounted for $36 million (USD conversion from KRW) in Q3, or an average of $12m a month. That's down from Q2 earnings and year over year Q3 2023.

    MCOC even with Disney/Marvel's cut generates a good bag, even if it's shrinking every year. The issue isn't the game, the issue is how long Netmarble is going to pay the overhead on a company with 2 active games in their portfolio and is actively looking to fill Senior management roles for drumming up new cashflow opportunities.

    So really the question isn't how long MCOC has left, it's how long before MCOC falls under the purview of a company not named Kabam. Not that I'm rooting for that, there's a lot of good folks still employed there, but if Netmarble can pilfer King Arthur: Legends Rise, anythings on the table.

    Right? When people don't spend money on a product, it stops being produced. MCOC has survived 10 years because it makes money.

    I enjoy this game, and I hope it continues for many more years.

    Are you wanting Kabam to fail and this game to shut down? Not sure what the point of this post is.

    what has helped mcoc compared to the rest is the frequent monthly game updates. In the case of transformers it was 6+months and by the time the game ended there wasn't a new bot for a very long time.

    but as long as people still feel interested and their efforts is having a beneficial interest in the game will the game stick around and do better

    Again. 8-stars don't exist in Marvel games, Strikeforce & Future Fight stopped at 7 stars and never pushed to 8-stars. Strikeforce did a more creative way diamond characters.

    Again. 8-stars don't exist in Marvel games, Strikeforce & Future Fight stopped at 7 stars and never pushed to 8-stars. Strikeforce did a more creative way diamond characters.
    technically with strike force, the red stars and diamonds are basically stat upgrades you'd get with a new star so they've added 7 red stars and 3 diamond ranks that add even more

    It's still the same concept though. Just because they changed from stars to diamonds. If mcoc did the same thing, a 3 diamond would technically still be an 8*

    they are similar but not the same, yes a jump in stars comes with stats upgrades but unlike strike force that is the main part of the character outside of the kit. mcoc has other stats that don't increase unless there is a new star like challenger rating and the likes
