Those champs might be exciting for the lower level accounts (though they probably only got 6* champs). I got 2 new champs from the entire event. Gwenpool and Isophyne. Other than Vox, none of the champs offers any benefit to any roster (maybe Isophyne does but the jury is still out on her, though it’s not looking great). That event was Kabam gifting us garbage in 7* wrapping paper.
Why wouldn’t you communicate that you were moving the rewards to the milestones prior to the event if that was your intention? Instead you left people with the assumption that all the rewards will be in the crystals like every other year and are now shocked that people are disappointed that they aren’t.
You have succeeded in giving us giving us more 7* materials, and you have in that regard, and I understand that not every crystal can be a winner, and you need fillers.
But in the current state of the economy, giving a valiant player 5700 T6CC fragments for 300 units is just rubbish.

We should have seen it coming when kabam miike and jax jumped ship. Miike has been the one to take the brunt of this for years and Jax got his first dose last year. I wonder is crashed was pulling the strings like a puppet on miike all these years because his post seems so familiar. If so I’m sorry miike for thinking u a joke for years. This event was in no way a success and we’re not even 24 hours in. You have 99.9% complaining and that was in less than 12 hours. How is that a success?

On the odd chance comments outside this thread aren’t somehow digested, here are my several pieces of constructive criticism, scattered in the various threads.
Kabam said the crystals previously were 83% filler and this year would be 50%. That was a straight up LIE. That’s what’s annoyed me the most.
The drop rates on shards are a joke and when you do get them it’s a measly amount almost every time. I’ve opened about 70 and got 9k 7* shards and 3k titan shards, then a pitiful amount of sig stones (I don’t care about prestige so this sucks) and a bunch of catalysts I can get for cheap elsewhere.
This is speaking as someone who sat out 2024 almost entirely and has come back for the holidays. I’ve played since 3rd January 2015 so have seen every single banquet event.

Also, why not add historic god tier champs that are now reasonable for the meta? A 1 in 100 chance of OG Scarlet Witch, Thor or Doctor Strange would’ve been a fitting celebration.
Also, where is the calendar? The 10-year calendar was the best thing ever in this game (loved it, and I appreciate it). Should’ve had one.

Seems like no one is bringing up that to qualify for the Realm Events in the deeper rounds, you need a minimum... so if you don't spend to earn at least 23K in points, you won't even qualify for those "great realm rewards"....so to even qualify for Isophene, I need to spend at least another 150 bucks since I'm at 18,9K to even have a shot at duping my Isophene...they never mentioned that there's a paywall, behind a paywall.
Very disappointed this year considering that its also the 10 year anniv....
I can appreciate all the balance talk and yada yada yada but even the moderators and content creators have to admit, this was not planned well for the users but a strong business decision from Kabam.
I don't have a answer to how to fix this...maybe remove the minimum spends on the Realm Event would be a good and simple start, as for the drop rates, probably pretty difficult to address and compensate that component.
I mean 10 years anniversary for a game happens only once, and we will maybe not reach the 20th anniversary Accordingly, this event should be one to remember for years for this community, a time could talk about with nostalgy
Instead of having the gratitude of the player base, this event is showing how poorly we feel considered by Kabam.

This event is a slap in the face, numbers wise, all my fellow players have explained the 101 and how to make this event better, we were all excepting being fairly rewarded…
Last chance for you to save this event is to drop a calendar for christmas where you will catch up and give us huge rewards progression scaled
The only positive that could come out of this is that this might be the event that will finally unify the community for the first time since 12.0 to boycott. I think we need to send the message to kabam that this is in no way a success, but an utter failure with what they listen to. Our wallets.
i popped around 70 SBCs and had terrible luck and there's two ways i feel about it.
my irrational side still feels "scammed" and gross that i spent 15k+ units on "nothing" but rationally it's not nothing because most of the value is actually in the milestones so i don't feel as bad when i look at it like that and i've stopping popping crystals after hitting the milestones so all is good.
in the future, different messaging by hinting at where the best value is would go a long way to stop the backlash.
This is only really worth it though if the realm event comes through. If it doesn’t then this is worse than last year’s event.
Which then I feel completely mislead by the team as there is no way the realm event was “in addition” to the rest of the event.
If realm events are going to continue to steak from the reward budget to “look spicy” then I’d rather we Ole Yeller this rapid dog.
I’d rather a mid realm event rewards as a small bonus with spicy rewards in the main event budget. This continued trend of “spicy realm rewards” but disappointing main event rewards continues to disappoint and disgruntle the community.
It seems like the game team didn’t apply the lessons learned from the last realm event and then this is compounded by adjusting the SBC to turn high value items into filler by making the quantities rewarded inferior amounts so the realm event budget can look good. I’m watching $4000 openings giving out less rewards than a small investment in cyber weekend. It makes for a bad experience and then bad content and bad promotion of the game. What a miss.
If nothing is done what have been a fun anniversary celebration will only be remembered for an over hyped, underwhelming Crystal.
It is the drop rates. 300 units for a crystal that gives some gold and iso plus things you can grab from the stores for considerably less. There is no value there. And to expect folks to shell out units and cash for subpar crystals to reach milestone rewards is disappointing. The event was made out to be this amazing thing and frankly you didn't listen to your player base.
The prices of stuff is getting out of hand. I can’t believe it’s cost more than 500$ worth of units to clear this event. You just brought out your best offers of the year last month and people spent upwards of 500$ on that event as well. You push out these events every other month it seems like. And then wave these awesome rewards in our face, but we need to spend hundreds of dollars to achieve them. It just seems like you’re bleeding everyone dry. I thought the realm events would be great for everyone. Have the community work towards a goal. Now I feel left out cause i spent 150$ worth of units in the event and im not getting close to the good rewards. It seems greedy and out of touch with the normal player.
I just don’t understand the value you seem to place on 6* shards, 6* crystals and 6* rank up gems in prize pots, you just gave away 10 x 7* for pretty much nothing which is extremely generous yet top 25% rank rewards in alliance banquet event only gives 8 x 6* ( I rare 6*, 3x nexus 6* and. 50k 6* shards) and less than 1 x 7* (10k shards only) and no titan crystal shards at all. Then 6* rank up gems and 5* relics ( I have so many unopened already as there are no new ones) in solo rewards again for 25%. I can’t speak for all valiant players but 6* have virtually no value for me beyond 275 7* shards for the dupe.
With regards to the alliance milestones why so few, we completed them in in the first few hours, there should be 3 times the amount with some more of the keys in so alliances spending can keep earning extra from them cos the rank rewards are not worth playing for outside top 10.
Ref banquet crystal, honestly I always dislike them. It’s very disheartening opening them even if you are picking up solo rewards for spending.
Foolishly, what I’d like to see the team do in response to the feedback, is re-do the drop rates and reward quanties in the SBC. I was thinking the same. Seems a lot to ask but it is a 10 year celebration at Christmas, so might as well ask.
We just wanted to take a moment and address some of the concerns around our Banquet event this year as we see some of you are disappointed with the Superior Banquet Crystals in particular.
We wanted to move more of the rewards to the milestones, while keeping 7-star relevant rewards in the crystals as you build up your tracks in the various milestones between solo and alliance-based events. Our intention was to improve the experience over last year's event, and feel we have succeeded in that goal.
That being said, we want to make sure the game team sees and hears you, so please leave your constructive feedback on what you’d like to see changed.

Personally, as a decent spender, it’s pretty disappointing for me. I would have rather bought the rest of the cyber bundles vice spend here.
My biggest frustration is the system for obtaining the 6 7* champs. Last year I was able to obtain all 6 and dupe all of them (minus one) which included 4 dupes on shocker. I don’t see how it is possible to obtain all 6 this year, let along numerous dupes, like I did last year. Please let me know if I’m missing something.
Currently sitting at 35k contribution and seriously debating if it is worth pushing hard to 100k+ like I did last year.
P.S. It’s absolutely absurd to group TB in with Valiant. I’m sitting at 25 R3 champs with 4 R3 gems and mats for another. The gap between my account and the average TB account is larger than the distance between the Earth and the Moon. Come on folks, you can do better and have in the past. I hate seeing the 10 year event end on such a sour note.
All that being said, try to enjoy the holidays next week with all this going on!

I am waiting for “the other shoe to drop”. I’ve opened over 30 SBCs and did not pull one 7* shard or titan shard directly (only through event and alliance progress). I’m hoping for the end of the year calendar to help bring me the luck that this event missed the mark on.

You can grt more key from odin's vault which equal more spending. That why key have so bad drop rate
10th anniversary. The live stream guy pumped it up like this was going to be it. He never said milestone rewards would be where you get good stuff. He said this crystal is spicy and it's all but that. Just very very disappointed and there is nothing to be done unless you reimburse already popped crystals. The common word in this thread is disappointing 😞. You can't spin this one. No pun intended.

If their response is “we’ll learn next year” no one cares and no one believes them after the promises this year, if they actually just ignore it they’re still getting cooked.
