We just wanted to take a moment and address some of the concerns around our Banquet event this year as we see some of you are disappointed with the Superior Banquet Crystals in particular.
We wanted to move more of the rewards to the milestones, while keeping 7-star relevant rewards in the crystals as you build up your tracks in the various milestones between solo and alliance-based events. Our intention was to improve the experience over last year's event, and feel we have succeeded in that goal.
That being said, we want to make sure the game team sees and hears you, so please leave your constructive feedback on what you’d like to see changed.
I feel that the SBC should have had an event percentage across the board except for the obvious choices of Jessica Jones, the selector, and the key. As the rank up rewards are cool it was too much t5c. There is no real fix that can be done except to just give everyone the realm rewards. I spend on this game every three months or so and I grinded to get 2k units and felt like that was just a waste and I should have saved for the Carina challenges instead. It was not a horrible event.
If you purchased units for this event, you probably feel like you've been scammed. I have spent 9k units even with the milestones I didn't get anything worth 9k units. I have another 5k units, I wont be spending them on the crystals. extremely underwhelming. I basically spent 9k units for a couple million gold and T5 and T6 CC.
We get pretty much the same rewards from daily valiant crystals. Before anyone says "you don't get iso, gold, or any of the .5% rewards from them" I got the same things I would from them. 76 bought crystals and It was stuff that a thronebreaker would be happy about. As a Valiant this was all filler and went to the overflow that I'll probably just sell, or wait for weeks to use for rank ups. Of those 76 SBC's I got about 1800 t7. If I was to only get t7 from this event and no other event it would take over 60 years to form ONE t7 (I'll be long gone before that ONE is formed).... I didn't get enough to make a regular 7* crystal. And nothing of the special rewards even popped up. I understand RNG is the reason, but 76 crystals should've had something cool in one of them... Idk, maybe make crystals that are different for EACH progression level. Thronebreaker titled players shouldn't be with Valiant titled players.
Well said. But IF they want to include TB and Paragon levels in with valiant, gear the crystal towards valiant players. I for 1, don't mind if a TB makes major gains during this event. Years ago, I was able to form multiple(6+) 6-Star crystals and i made huge gains. The top were happy, EVERYONE was content. But you keep messing up what worked and feed us poo, and expect us to say thank you.

I totally agree. Let TB players get Valiant rewards once to boost them up, but make the rewards actually Valiant level.
I love how Kabam basically said, "But we gave you all 10 free 7*'s" except that other than Vox and maybe Isophyne none of these are champs Paragon or Valiant players are likely to rank up.
The best thing that can be done with this current event is nerf the milestone cutoffs by 10k and the realm 4 billion point mark by 1 billion and add juicier rewardsfor the whales. That'll allow more players to hit more cutoffs, and entice the whales and moderate spenders to open their wallet.
I see tons of feedback focusing on the negative aspects and I agree with many of them. However, I don't want one positive to get lost in the deluge of rightful criticism. Hence this post.
One positive that I do like, was moving (some) rewards to milestones. I like the guarantee value that shift offers vs solely relying on rng. It provides a nice baseline that helps people like me better evaluate how much $$$ or time to devote to a event.
I feel like a majority, or at least, a very vocal section of the community, has been asking for less rng and more guarantee rewards and that is met by milestone rewards. So good on ya!
Unfortunately, many of the better rewards were moved to the realm event. Not once has this community managed (on their own) to reach all the milestones. And I don't see it happening here either. Rewards that will not be achieved may just as well not exist.
Perhaps moving some of the better rewards to alliance (easily the weakest set of rewards imo for this event) or even solo reward milestones is something that should be explored in the future or...drastically reducing the ask for realm event milestones.
Finally, I think there exists a large part of the player base, that has at their disposal of units, somewhere in the 4-7k range. It is purely a guess on my part, but I think the majority fall somewhere in that range. (Maybe even less, more on that later).
There will be a difference in perspectives between someone who has enough units to reach the highest milestones without spend and folks who fall into the 4-7k range. It's a big ask to expect all those people to spend gobs of money to make up the difference especially after a huge event like cyber weekend where a large chunk of units were also exchanged for goodies.
None of that is to say that players should be able to participate in both events. But, draining resources, in this case units, right before an event that moves much of the "good stuff" to a realm event might not be the best received especially by those falling into the aforementioned range of units.
All of that is a long-winded way of saying, players just want to feel like their money/ time is valued. Not everything awesome has to be locked away behind $600. Sometimes it's ok to give something the player values for the lower level of spend too. Value the $10 spender and they'll likely spend that and more.

Again, I think that rewards based on whole community participation that involve people spending units on crystals with subpar drop rates while advertising "less filler" in those crystals is a way to make those who did participate fully disappointed and jaded about future events. These rewards should have been somewhere else.
Kabam should get rid of the realm event, it’s real hammer and sickle type stuff, and adds nothing to the experience of the game
No ! The realm event is quite nice and is not the problem here.
The main problem is that those superior crystals rewards are not worth the 300 units we are spending. When someone buy and open a crystal he wants something worth the units spent. We all know it might take 5 or 10 or 20 crystals to get a global rewards worth our money.
Kabam put the good rewards in the realm event but nobody cares that if you open crystals, everyone will benefits ! What we care is how it will benefit us right now when we open those crystals we bought with our money. It’s ok if it benefit others with the realm event but we don’t buy crystals for other but for us 🤷♂️
Maybe Kabam can correct this :
- By sending compensation to those buying crystals (not sure it’s the best option though) or - By creating a Christmas gift (a good one not just 1 revive ) to appease players or - By modifying the current crystal drop rate if possible or - a special Christmas calendar ? - Specials gifts attached to Odin ? - Specials rewards that can be bought in the in game store
Or whatever solution that will make those damn crystal really worth buying !
Everyone talked about their opinions or what needs to be improved But the real important thing is that the crystals are not worth opening!!! Let me explain, I am a f2p player, I collect credits the hard way in the arena, my credits are important to me... Every year I save up until cyber weekend, after 25-30k I join the banquet with the remaining 9-10k and other years I never complained about the drop rate, there were league and solo awards every year, but there was a purpose to opening the crystals...... People say awards are based on the good year, this is crazy because it has to be, the game improves every year, expectations improve and I can honestly say that this rate are incredibly below for my expectations Anyway, we are waiting for it to be compensated. You add a reward to the level to sell the offer. If this game is really going to progress in this direction, let us know so that we can stop playing this game as f2p players....
If I'm spending 300 units and the rewards from SPC id 2 7* sig stones 250k gold and few iso then how that's fair is beyond me.I opened 20+ spc not any standout rewards very basic that I could have got from cyber weekend deals what's the point in hyping this 10 year anniversary event.
About latest response of mcoc teams: all very nice, correct we liked the gifts, but the Gifts are gifts, what does all this have to do with the grand banquet event? which is a paid event, badly conceived, with a ridiculous drop of crystals, in my country we say: that those who mix water and oil are justifying themselves very badly, we need to take a patch if next year you want to chance that this event survives
It's wild how this event has almost made those "Select a champ for 9,500 units" offers seem actually *better* than this junk by comparison.
Like, I could've spent 9,500 units a couple weeks ago and duped my America Chavez, rather than used those units on let's see.... some T3A and T6B, couple thousand 7* shards, and oh yeah, around 8 signature stones...
I think banquet event is ONLY good for paragon or lower. I suggest to add some attraction for Valiants. Please give abyss nexus 7* in compensation to valiants.
This opinion may be unpopular, but I'm not concerned about it. I miss Gifting. I know I sound like a dinosaur, but the original Event was so much more enjoyable. We got things, sure. For me, the emphasis was on gifting Alliance mates, giving things as opposed to just what we were getting. It was a team effort and it was fun. I understand the reasons it had to change. It's deeply unfortunate that people had to ruin it for everyone by using it for Fraud. I'm just saying I miss the old spirit. Now it's just a smorgasbord of getting, and it feels empty.
Just one thing.. Whoever has reached the final milestone in the realm event, give them the milestone rewards. Thats Irrespective of weather as a community we achieve those goals or not. At least a lot of people will get whats due and right in the backlash.

Some Goated wisdom when the community most needed it, I agree mate.
And I think gifting could still be a thing, if Kabam thought to put some measures on it and systems in place to protect people from getting scammed by others and also to limit the instance of alts feeding a single account.
If Kabam considers this event a success I would like to know individually how happy each mod is with how many units they’ve spend compared to what they got. They’re really trying to sugar coat this saying it took months for all of this to happen and it’s not only a two week gifting event. I spent months grinding since this was announced only to spend 15k to barely form a 7* crystal. I could’ve easily finished Necro with that amount for better rewards and still had leftovers.
I always hated the banquet event. The terrible RNG of the crystals, the gamble to spend for the hope you or your alliance ranks high enough, the unit spend. Banquet crystals always had bad rewards for the 300 unit cost, so I don't understand the sudden shock to how bad they are this year. But after I added up all the rewards across the solo, alliance, and realm milestones, what you get for less than 15k units are way better than anything offered before. If the realm event hits milestone 28 (the minimum 20088 points) and you achieve 20088 points, the rewards are incredible: -60,000 7 star shards -3 Glorious Guardians 7 stars -7 star Awakening gem crystal worth of shards -Enough Rank up material for 2 7* Rank 3 -2 7* rank 2 to rank 3 gems -1 Ascension -5000 Titan shards
Plus they even added 2 7 star crystals and a 7 Star Nexus, after all the complaints. These are just from the milestones, so anything I get from the SBCs are just a bonus.
Tell me where else have you seen this much rewards. I came out of the last cyber week spending more units (20k) and got less rewards. I have always spent my money and units during cyber week. But the fact that these rewards are guaranteed for less than 15k units, makes this a great value. I'm in the minority of my opinion of this event, but damn Kabam did a great job. Yes the SGCs could have better odds, but banquet crystals always had bad odds. They even made the Crystal better, by adding Superior Banquet Crystals, with less trash and more high chase rewards. My main problem with past banquet events was the huge RNG and low guaranteed value. Kabam actually listened and improved drastically on the guarantee values. Last year a 300 unit greater banquet crystal would get me 2 tier 5 basics or 4k 6 star shards. Where was all this drop rate hate last year? They removed most of the trash drop items from the crystals.
This is the best banquet/gifting event that Kabam did so far.
Giving everyone a couple free 7* is irrelevant for spenders some us spent on this event and got nothing but filler why spend at all if all we got is garbage I’m very dissatisfied with what I got for the amount I spent
the last month a lot of us spent on cyber deals with banquet in mind and then bought the crystal deals for this and seeing as though I’m currently at 60k points I wish I had more information beforehand because I’d have stopped at the last milestone and called it a day and wouldn’t feel so dissatisfied about the whole grand banquet I didn’t even get any extra keys and because how bad it’s been I won’t be purchasing more odins to get them for sure
Currently at 28 r3 and can take up more so giving me filler items that I can get in game was extremely poor and helps me achieve nothing
I will defo curb my spending from here on out I’m no mega whale but I do spend a good amount a couple k this year maybe more so for tb players and ftp players to be picking up what I’m picking up after I invest into it to get ahead is again disappointing
That being said the milestone rewards were fine but if we as a community don’t hit all realm rewards it will feel more disappointing than it already does
My suggestion for the regular player would be to hit the milestones and call it a day
This is my final input on this as it feels tiresome to look at it in such a disgusted view
Hope everyone enjoys the holidays merry Xmas and a happy new year to all
Your little “update” to the realm rewards is the biggest joke ever. Won’t b opening another crystal unless it’s free and certainly won’t b spending the money I had planned. I’m sure I’m not the only 1 , let’s see how those realm events are hit. Happy 10th anniversary thank u for the “GRAND” banquet smh

What an absolute joke.
They aren’t fixing the crystals.
Logging another ticket as simply a complaint now, not feedback or constructive criticism anymore as they don’t really care.

No more grinding, no more purchasing units, no more fighting, no challenges, no game of chance.
